well between ridge and brooke there is always been attraction but not real love, they got married many times and always split up after a few months and brooke told a lot of lies to keep ridge during the years. The only real marriage of Ridge was with Taylor and to make the end of that realistic authors had to kill her. After 2005 Taylor was not the same character it used to be

Hmm...Taylor being selfish? Well Ridge was Taylor's husband making Brooke his illegal wife so Taylor wanting her life back would be logical. Bridget and Rick had a father and it was a man by the name of ERIC FORRESTER so Brooke was out of place to even mention the kids in this conversation. Taylor was held captive when she regained her memory and decided to come back home. I don't remember how she was able to come back home but she was held captive. Again earlier in 1993 Taylor told Ridge that he was free to go back to Brooke if he wanted too but she still wanted to be friends and guess who Ridge chose. Then during the Thomas incident she told Ridge that he could be with Brooke but he has to take care of his son. Those aren't selfish deeds now is it? As for Brooke she through herself at Ridge every chance she got during his marriages with Taylor and even said to Taylor that she was going to take Ridge away from her. Now who is the cold hearted selfish one?
