We don't see enough Ohio Central. I spent a fair amount of time riding with OHCR crews when I was a kid. I have a ride along video on my channel. I love seeing this tunnel motor. I remember seeing it on the Newark -Parson's turn. We always had a pair of four axle units to switch east Columbus.
Excellent video! I love putting real sound over HO models like you do. I’m hooked on the modern DT&I ever since I found it in a magazine. Blessings from Tehachapi Pass! -Josh
Well done layout and video. Hope 52 and 52A weren´t running for the photo... with one axle on rear truck of 52 being off rail....on a tall bridge... could write off her pretty fast from "active" roster.... Can´t imagine cheapy, almost toy like Life Like to look so good. Someone surely super detailed it.....
It’s a very early proto 2000…way back when it still said lifelike on the boxes. I didn’t do much to it…new handrails, proper headlight, new horn, and weathering. And no, they weren’t running. Actually in process of upgrading 52 from Loksound 4 to Loksound 5 with capacitor.
I still intend to light it at some point so they can run either direction. But yeah, it’s not a bad model at all. The original release even had spinning fans!
Hi Shawn, Very nice roster video. I have a question not in your list, what camera are you using for your videos? and what video editing equipment are you using? Your video are always very clear and sharp even the night videos. Thank you in advance. Cheers, Rich S.

I would if it didn’t take so long. This one took 12 full hours of filming and editing.
Nice layout 👍🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
Have a good weekend!
The scenic trains look cool. Could you do a video of them at some point.
Definitely! I have 5 project cars to complete that I want to show, so once they’re done, I’ll have something!
Top notch video, excellent weathering. Can you tell what sound decoders you are using?
There are no sound decoders on the layout. They’re all NCE. I dub my sounds using real footage. ☺️
Well done layout and video.

Thanks for your answer. Watching your vidéo on my cell, that Life Like/Proto looks not bad at all after some pimped up.😊

Believe it or not, nothing at all Professional. iPhone 12 and iMovie on iPad.
Thank you Shawn @@ModernDTI, for the additional information. Cheers, Rich S.
Say, what happened to that NS SD60E you had?
Sold it when I changed the yard scheme from Ironton to Newark. NS will make a comeback at some point as run through power for grain trains though!
@ Ah ok. Hope the next one is a present day GE unit. 😀
Highly likely!
@ Whether it's an AC44C6M or an ES44AC, that'll definitely be a first on the channel.
