Super looking layout. I hired with the EL in 1970. I remember the SD-40's when they were fairly new. You did a remarkable job in replicating an EL freight. It's too bad that the EL had to be included in Con-Rail. We were a family oriented railroad. I worked 43 years with the railroad retiring in May of 2013. 😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
Thxs Gary for the kind words as my father grew up near The EL East 55th yard in Cleveland do that is how he liked the EL.When I was a kid Im 55 now I seen alot of neat EL stuff there before Conrail took it over .Now its basically gone now only a scrap dealer is using the yard now. putting scrap in gons. Micheal,The flatcar is a E&P Associates Brass flatcar from early to mid 90's when I got this flatcar.I used both the decal set from them and a Herald King decal set.Hope that helps
