    Excellent! We love your Thai vids, make us hungry. We're taking notes for our first trip to Thailand. We spend about a quarter of our time in our house in San Simon Pampanga and plan to explore more of Asia. Thanks again!

    Thanks for another 'local eats' video, all those dishes you showed looked delicious and an amazing
    number of restaurants and bars on that long street. That condo you're staying in looks very comfortable and they certainly have their share of swimming pools and looks like you and Miss Cecelia has that place to yourselves :) Same goes for that beach. Definitely would have to go during low season when it's my turn, Thanks for the video and take care JR !

      Not too far from Bangkok (3.5 hours) and even though we didn't go, heard there are some really nice beaches in the area. We will stay longer next time

    Roasted venison, now that sounds very interesting ! I spent a year and a half in East Anglia and never heard of that before. I lived on Airman's Club food and sometimes on lay by fish and chips. Thanks for the video, keep em coming !

      The local pub in the town we lived in, Stoke Ferry, had a Sunday roast and during game season, he would do a venison roast. Was delicious.

    I enjoying your tour. When you get back to PI, any chance you can do a video of your tips for using Air BnB in your travels.?

    • @FOCUSonASIA13
      @FOCUSonASIA13  10 місяців тому +1

      I will be doing a wrap-up type video after trip is done showing costs. AirBnB is pretty simple, I usually only use it for the longer stays but still check it out for shorter as well but in Thailand short stays the hotels are usually cheaper. The longer you stay with AirBnB the cheaper it gets, once you go over 28 nights there is usually a huge price drop. Thanks for watching Gunny

      @@FOCUSonASIA13 pretty much sounds like Asia Air BnB is exactly the same as using in USA.

    Hi.
    Nice video, i like what you are calling it, local eats.
    All the food you are eating is only Western food, except the food in market Village.
    There are so many local restaurants with real thai food in hua hin, try them instead.

    • @FOCUSonASIA13
      @FOCUSonASIA13  10 місяців тому +1

      Thanks , those that have been following the channel a while know that local eats doesn't necessarily mean local type food. Often it does however after travelling Thailand many times we like to show western and other options as well for people

    It’s good that you’re getting to travel around SE Asia and see and do, but I’ll be honest, my favorite videos you’ve done in the past were the simple plain ol’ Walk n Talks. But others probably wouldn’t agree. And that’s okay. I may not comment on many of the videos, but hopefully you’ll recall I’ve been a subscriber since your channel name was 13 and you had about 400 subs. I e stayed with you, I did NOT stay with “the king” Mark B over at O’stay Road. His family videos were great but other content just wasn’t for me. Thanks for all your efforts, you’re doing a great job.

    "Philippines, why don't you have stuff like this?"

    • @FOCUSonASIA13
      @FOCUSonASIA13  Місяць тому

      I wouldn't say Philippines is bad on food but it is lower on my list in SEA and Thailand is at the top. Language barrier in Thailand is overblown and there is some nice diving to be had in Thailand but yes Philippines on the whole has better diving locations.
