I enjoyed Hua Hin earlier this year when i was there for 5 months. HH is alot bigger than i thought and has plenty of entertainment options...haven't even scratched the surface on other areas there and really enjoyed it. Great channel!
The Soi 94 area is a lot bigger than I realized. I never ventured there in all my trips to Hua Hin. I will have to pay that part of town a visit. Thank you for showing us around.
I was walking those same streets two months ago during nighttime and it was definitely busier. I liked Fame and Rock Zone for good live music. Thanks for the video
Jalapeños re-opened?! They were closed for a while! They have the best authentic Mexican in Hua Hin! Thanks 👍 You need earplugs in that club. The music is blasting and literally never stops, and thai locals rockin, drinking, dancing all night! And a few farangs.... You can barely stand it. You cannot talk to each other inside... it's impossible. 😮 And... sorry... Ha-la-Penos, not "Ja"-la-Penos🤣 Jalapenos es Muey Bueno! Love their food! Best Mexican in Hua Hin! Owner from Santa Cruz, CA. So he knows Mexican Food... Great video walkabout in my backyard! 🫡
Great video again Jonny, thanks for the background on that failed new construction on the corner and great advice to people thinking of investing here.
thats nice showing in october i will come to thailland and go to the londen bar on poonsuk road and stay at smile hua hin resort maby we can speak each other because i like thailand to
Hi Jason I can’t stand it, to tell you the honest truth. I normally stay inside with the air conditioning set to 22°C every day and only venture out after 4 or 5 pm. It’s only April and May that seem to be the worst with the heat. It’s cooling down now, though, with the rain. Yes, I do miss the Gold Coast weather this time of year, but I don’t miss waking up early on those cold winter mornings ❄️🥶.
Hold the phone. How did I not know about this other channel of yours Jonny? I musn’t have been paying attention lol. Ah well some more content for me to browse. Cheers. 🍺
Yeah, it was probably good in hindsight for Panthera Group that they were about to encroach on someone else's land and then canned their plans for a huge Irish pub as a result.
I have contacted HuaHin Visa Services and received information about getting my Retirement Visa in September. I believe it is run by two ladies and I am pretty sure they offer the same services I can get in Pattaya for just about 1500 baht more. Since Hua Hin is where I will call home I might as well get my visa there.
That cramp with your foot i think is low sodium I had the same thing cramp and extreme pain, had blood tested yup low, especially from drinking too much beer you pee it out.
I had blood test in BKK few months ago and the results all came back normal, i am sure it's just nerve or spine problem, but thanks for the information :-)
Fair point Jonny but for someone who has lived in Hua Hin for 18 months now and been coming since 2014 I don’t think it would encourage newcomers to come visit empty bars and restaurants and you’re missing the vibes and buzz of nightlife.but just my opinion take care
Hi I will start by saying I really like your videos. I have been visiting Hua Hin since 1997. Generally I come twice a year. The more I come I don’t understand Hua Hin. Especially around Soi Bintabaht know your clientele. Mainly old people family’s. Why don’t they make that area more in sync with the custom. Keep Soi 80 Wonderland for Whoring. I have to say I don’t really like wonderland always empty. Obviously just my opinion. Thank you Mr Johnny
Nice walkabout, but why did you say " a lot of old boilers there!" not very polite , after all a large percentage of their customers probably went to school with Tutankhamen. : p PS: I am one of them. :p The Hua Hin visa service's on 94 Soi are excellent , I used their service's 8 months ago and their professionalism and experience ensured that everything went smoothly. They also speak very good English which was benefical to most foreigners. Just touching on the Irish place not proceeding because of it being partly built on someone elses land , is it not legal to hire the services of a surveyor prior to purchasing land ?
just a technical observation on the very first minutes of the video: your camera seems to have a poor dynamic range. When you walked, every shop on the left were way too dark. Not a critic, just an observation.
If you want to say 'Jalapena' properly Jonny it's..........halluh-pee-nyow. The 'J' is pronounced as a 'H' in Spanish, just like Thai a lot of phonetic translation is wrong.
Udon Thani seems to be very bustling in fact busting Jonny. The whole place looked so barren, looks abandoned. Very sad. Would never invest there even if I had a few quids.
Undon Thani is a great city been many times, hope to get back there soon. Hua Hin is normally like this heading into low season, also soi 94 normally picks at night. But it is especially very quiet now, just the way I like it to be honest 😂👍

I have not been to HH since 2018! Soi 94 has had some changes. Nice to have a look back. I loved my time there!
Yeah there has been few changes not much anything to drastic though
Thanks for the walk about Jonny. Learn more every time.
Thanks for watching

Awesome Jonny, just in Brissy for work 06.00. I'll watch this tonight when I get home to the GC.
Nice work Jonny - always an entertaining area - happy days & nights 🤠✌️👍✔️👋🙏
Glad you enjoyed it 👍😊
Great video 👍. Are there any indoor afternoon girlie bars with aircon in Hua Hin like the Gentlemen's Clubs in Pattaya?
Hi Johnny, enjoy your video, walk around cheers Mate👍
Glad you enjoyed it Martin thanks for watching 🙏😊
Was in Hua hin for a week in march not alot goin on for me but nice and relaxed vibe woudnt be on the list when returning to the land of smiles
That's what we love about Hua Hin 'not enough going on' to attract mass tourism 😉
@@mcb00m Exactly. They can enjoy the ruined entertainment areas.
Great video again Jonny, thanks for the background on that failed new construction on the corner and great advice to people thinking of investing here.
Great job jonny always interesting and entertaining
Johnny that visa agent on soi 94 is very good She got my daughter her 1st British passport in 6 weeks .And cheaper than I could of done it myself.

Johnny could you show more of the night market. 👍🇦🇺
I like your Walkabouts Jonny
Thanks for watching Michael :-)
Was just there. How can you stand the humidity? You must miss the the cool Aussie nights sometime. Not a critical. Just wondering if it gets you down.

Hi Jonny, watching now from Vancouver Canada 21:12
I hope to check out some condos within 12 months, and I'll need my retirement visa.
great vids Jonny, be there in a couple months are there any Gentlemans Clubs in Hua Hin?
In 94 you walked by my FAV O RITE massage place. OMG!
A couple of weeks ago the Prachuap Kiri Khan gang was there for dinner at Jalapenos minus Joe and Gift 😅
Joe & Gift are still traveling OS I believe they will be back next week. But great Mexican 👍😊
tried to find the hua hin good view hotel , there website is down , the facebook page is still up though
Jonny,
That would be Halpinos, J pronounced as an H!
More Mexican time for you, Mate!
Aloha!
cheers bar great place
Pat’s place is a good spot. And if you need a good accommodation + reasonable price Narawan is nice and cleanplace. Lovely staff in both places.
calypso bar been there fo ages
The Ogen restaurant is moving into where the old hotel was.
Roaming is always good to cure feet wounds ;-)
Hi Jonny who is your Thai visa agent, I was on that street this time last month It was epic
How many bars do you need in one place . No wonder there is so many empty ones
Yeah, it was probably good in hindsight for Panthera Group that they were about to encroach on someone else's land and then canned their plans for a huge Irish pub as a result.
So do you prefer Soi 94 or Bintabaht?
Very good very good
Is the Repton Bar still owned by the boxer and open?

A wise choice
Total price being?
Might be extra's included Joe 😂
I've used them for my retirement visa and also when I renewed it, great service and certainly recommend them
Mum with the cameltoe🤣
The video quality is off or is it my imagination? Is it because it’s later in the day with low light?
Nice Walk

Because I don’t film men & ladies in bars Gary

good journey Jonny. Always enjoy your vids.

Well Helloooo Fon !!
Who’s Fon? 😂
Jonny did remember a restaurant bar Buffalo Bill's steak house
down near the fishing pier (still there)
At 12.03 bike rental only 150 baht per day
Ok great thanks for letting us know:-)
