    I agree 100%
The '71 Cuda is my absolute all time favourite muscle car design without a doubt.
No other car says muscle car like the body shape and grill of a '71 Cuda for me.

You are an ambitious dude! My '74 Challenger took about 2 1/2 years (and counting...almost done). I did not have as much metal repair as you are looking at. Good luck... I will sub and enjoy watching this! Funny, My Challenger was KG2 (Frost Green) with green seats, green dash, green carpet, green panels.... ugh. While I left the car green with black trim I got some SEM black and sprayed the dash and interior panels, changed the carpet to black, and did the seats in black with just a small accent of green. The 70's was whacky times!

    A color-matched-combo:
    - Charger
    - Cuda
Would be sweet to see them sitting side by side with the same paint schemes!
I couldn’t wait until you revealed her.
Thanks for letting me know several months ago - and I didn’t tell a soul!
If you want, I’ll try to get Steve Magnante to hit you up to trace the authenticity of the Cuda with the factory tag etc.. but I’m sure you can do that yourself. Either way I’m sure he’ll be very interested in the 2 Mopars you’re saving!

Best year for grill, fenders, tail lights, bumpers and available options. Still had high impact colours and the full line up of high compression big blocks, small blocks, the street Hemi and the ultimate street intimidation option; the pistol grip shifter.
Engines over at the Generals by then had been castrated. Not so at Mopar.
Yes you have truly scored a bucket list E-body my friend.
Reassure your wife that when finished it will have appreciated in value better than any 401K investment.
Still admire your positivity on the condition it's in.
Having watched your skill and determination levels, I have no doubt you'll knock it out of the park, probably even faster than your Charger.
Congrats for saving a car from a now extinct, once great American automotive marque, Plymouth.
In 71' your car could have been part of the Rapid Transit System from Plymouth!
The available graphics in 71' were absolutely wild and unmatched by the General, Ford or AMC.
Hope you go wild with them and the cartoon colours available. That'll win sonny away from Rustangs forever.
    Enjoy!
    Malcolm Ottawa Valley

HOLY SHIT, yeah on paper you have a Barracuda, I believe my buddys 1971 just said Cuda on the tailight panel, black 340 4bbr, slap stick auto. There is a big price difference from Cuda to Barracuda, that I think is why yours is a 318 car, I believe Cudas have the gills on the fenders, it`s just a bad ass body style either way, you have the best wife in the entire world my friend, If I brought that home with 2 other projects going on, oh boy, the good news is those panels sure are smaller that those monster Charger panels, you better stock up on cutting discs and beers, can`t wait for this.

Please make it a Cuda clone, I love the gills and power bulge scoops with the engine call outs, I don`t know what the hood costs, but it would be worth it, kiss your checking account good bye my friend, Now you have 2 mopar monster engines to build, My friends 383 Challenger would beat the crap out of the 340 Cuda, but the Cuda looked so much better, back then I would drive with who ever had the better weed, hehe. All the best brother.
