I owned that car for 34 years. Bought it while I was in high school. Best of luck and glad to see someone doing something with it. Enjoy.
Like you owned my exact car? If so I would love to call you
A great taste of car. Notchback is one of the best looking cars American auto industries ever built.
Hell yeah, awesome ride
greetings from HUNGARY!
Wow, you did a ton of work to the barracuda, really great looking car, you don't see too many of the old ones on the road anymore
Ya mine is the only one I’ve seen in person
@@PeteGuarino340 well man,, I am really impressed by your ingenuity with building the framerails and exhaust yourself. Way to go, working with your Dad. Allot of the younger kids your age have defaulted to Hondas and Toyotas or just Xbox.
Really good to see the next generation gearheads coming along! Very sweet job on the Cuda and the Truck.
@@patrickwayne3701 thank you I appreciate it
Saved another one! good work.
Thanks
Enjoy that Barracuda 🙂
I have owned my Super Bee 37 years now and spell has never been broken, I was young guy like you when I bought it😊
That’s really cool
Amazing, i also love old cars like this, great job keep it up
Thank you
Super cool!!!
Cool cars,
A ton of work but looks like you did it to last. Nice work👍🏼🔥🏁
Gotta do it right and it’ll last forever as long as you take care of it.
You have a good dad my friend!
Definitely
It's good to see some of today's young guys know how to do things. My older brother had a 1967 Cuda, blue, 4 speed 340 it was only a couple of years old when he bought it, it was a neat little car. I had the 1965 Cuda, the ugly one with the long long back window ):
I love the first gen barracudas built as gassers there nice cars
@@PeteGuarino340 "I love the first gen barracudas built as gassers there nice cars". But they're ugly as a mud fence, mine was brown too ) :
@@NCLUSA haha still respectable
Well done, MEN ! 👍🏻
A young man and his car !
Great work 👍
Thanks
sounds awsome .from South Africa
Thank you
Love barracudas I sold a 1969 340-s 4speed notchback what a fool I was I own 8 vehicles every time I sell one I regret 340 best motor ever
Yes it’s a really strong motor
Great project and it's good to see you're going about the resurrection of this car in the right way. Keep those old cars on the road, we need more of them now more than ever!
Definitely, I agree
@@PeteGuarino340 Not to mention Pete, we share the same last name so I feel confident that you're on the right track!
Great job Pete
Thanks
Outstanding!! One hell of a job!!
Thank you
love the barracuda man sounds great !!!
Thanks
That is awesome did same thing my dad about 30 years ago, still have mine but is a D100.
That’s great
Auto body specitys make camps for frames.i bought some they fit great.
Ya but there expensive so That’s why we made em
Nice fabrication work, 340 sounds real nice. Black with dog dishes looks cool.
Thanks I put some wide crager ss’s on the back
Nice work. Can’t wait to see the truck when it’s done.
Thank you , hopefully soon.
Awesome cars True muscle
Truly
This one looks really good to me because its black ' you've done a lot of good rust repair ' it looks like you've still got some to attend to ' but you'll get to it ' redline tires would look good against the black.
Ya there’s a lot of rot in the rear quarters witch I’m definitely going to fix and some in the front fenders. And ya redlines would look great.
Hell yea. Good to see other A body barracuda builds. I've been slowly messing with a 67 fastback. Haven't done a whole lot to it other than typical maintenance. Put a set of super stock springs in the back. I actually picked it up off of Langley Air Force Base. Car already had a 8 3/4 but it's open so it'll be welded lol and a 360LA that I'll probably swap for a Magnum. She needs a lot but runs and drives so I enjoy it more than I work on it.
That’s really cool, and ya I love my 8 3/4 posi it takes a beating
Nice job bud! I’m impressed your not playing video games like most younger people of your age!
That cuda is a super cool car! The patina is just about perfect but it’s too bad about the larger rust spots….can be fixed but might be hard to keep the patina the same!
Love the old ford truck! I’ve had a 79 F350 4x4 for the last 5 years doing everything to it you’ve done to the cuda, minus the rusted frame stuff.
My 79 was sitting in a pole barn since 1991 with a blown engine…had a 400 but now has a 460. It’s close to being a daily with just needing a couple more things fixed!
Your projects are super cool, keep up the good work
Thank you very much that truck of yours sounds great
You are doing a great job, keep it up ////
Thank you
Nice job kid!
Thank you
Bravo!!..good to see younger guys into the old cars
Thank you
Nice job , good to see you boys taking an interest in the coolest time period for cars ever and working on them 👍
Thank you
Memories with you and your dad you’ll never forget
Very cool!!!
Thanks
Oh yeah one of my all time favorites, best model years for Cudas right there.
67-69s.
I agree
Nice job man. I had a 340 in my 80 cordoba (balanced and blueprinted) with headers and a 727 with an 8 and 3/4 rear end with cop car (taxi cab) leafs. Easy swap but man that thing liked to loft the front end.
Was around the time of the fox body mustang. Never lost to one.
MN I miss that sleeper 😢
That sounds badass
Great restoration, young man. You have a beautiful car.
Thank you
Dude that thing is far from completely restored I saw scratches all over and a rust spot
@@PeteGuarino340I would be putting a lot more time into that Corvette than any Ford or Plymouth
@@RedGarnett-n2p True, but that makes it a better daily driver. When it's too pretty, you're afraid to take it out of the driveway. 😆
@@jeffreybrandes881 very true
That's a real slice of Americana you got there.
Nice work, a car worth restoring.
Sounds really good and looks good. Keep on keeping on dude. I got three old classics that I love but you are very motivated. Love to see more.
Thank you very much I plan to keep on going haha
I recently bought a 67 coupe that needs a lot of work, I’m 19 and this has been a great inspiration, I can’t wait to start working on it when I get home to England! Fucking awesome ride man
Thank you yours will be sick
Nice Mopar! 👍
Thank you
nice job man, very cool car and I would have loved to save this myself if I found one, I'm jealous. Totally worth the effort to save. The clean original patina look with good mechanicals is killer and just my cup of tea. Things painted perfect make me nuts because I'd scratch it anyway. Rather have the good running sleeper. Always loved this body style.
Ya me too I like to drive it without worrying to much
@@PeteGuarino340 I'm so bad about it that if I bought a new pickup truck it would never have anything in the bed lol. I have to get them slightly used just to put something in the damn thing and use it like a truck
@@plap. haha I get that
Sweet survivor dude 😎👍
Great job, keep them on the road, American Muscle.
That’s what I’m about
Good job on the repairs! Those Barracuda coupes are beautiful cars!
Thank you
Good job young man, l like it, be proud of yourself, looks good!.
Nice Barracuda, great job.
Man that's really cool
Thank you
Awesome, I have a 72 dart swinger as my daily driver
That’s great
Good job!
Thank you
Wow! You guys rebuilt the whole front end.
Nice job fabricating all those parts.
And like I say, every Mopar A-body must be saved.
Thank you I hope to save more
Nice job, You have done nice work so far. Keep it up. That car is a keeper. Would be nice to fully restore in the future.
The notchback barracuda is one of my dream Mopars to own. Yours looks awesome man, well done 👌
What a Gorgeous car 🚗, so happy to see 👀 your generation carrying the torch for these beauty's. Please keep us informed about your projects as I just subscribed and will watch your car videos as it's something I find great interest in.
Thanks.
Thank you very much more to come
Looks good dude
Thank you
Oooh! Barracuda!
love it mate. a real car
Sweet ride man! 👍🏻
Thank you
That is a really cool car!!! Have fun with it and life. JJ
Thank you
Nice Barracuda, don’t see many coupes, mostly remember the hatch back models.
A fun ride no doubt 👍
Definitely
looks sick 🔥
Thank you
youre car is beautiful ❣️my daily is a 73' 400 4 speed rd rnr, pwr windows, found in a corn field when I was 19. I'm 56 and it's in my garage!🤠mopar or no car❣️
Thats a real nice ride, good work.
Would you please remove those traction bars ?
please ...
Why lol, I love them
So jealous. You got a nice car, man
Omg, love this!
Sweet
"My dad and I'...
Sick car man! I've been working on my own 340 to put in my 74 dart, even got the same valve covers haha. Really sweet to see one of these.
Nice that’ll be really cool
A pleasure to see a young dude driving around in a classic. Reminds me of my first car in high school, a 1969 notchback barracuda with a 340, just posted an old video of it the other day: ua-cam.com/users/shorts_4hkcXg2LXk
That’s a beautiful car I wanna get a stance like that
@@PeteGuarino340 It's all about the big fat tires in the back - classic 80;s stance . Keep working on that '67, she's a beauty
@@fraterseamus thank you, ya I’m planning on throwing some fat crager ss’s on the back come spring
@@fraterseamus you are lucky to have taken/saved video of the car.... I have some pics of a 70 340 Dart I built for my senior year and to go to college in,,, but never had video capability in the 83/84 time frame unless my Dad was around with his Camcorder.... your video really brought back those memories.
@@patrickwayne3701 I have my brother in law to thank for that, he just happened to be shooting the day I brought it home with the new motor.
Great to see another fish in the school. Tough to keep the tail behind the car in the winter! No?
Nice,
Love it
Thank you
The 340 runs great..
Did the 340 come with it?
No it was originally an 273 cubic inch v8
I've got to know what those tires are. I've got a 1966 Pontiac Catalina and I think they'd look great on it.
Beautiful car, nice work! Any chance I can purchase?
Nice man. How much bhp is it pushing
I’m not too sure
@@PeteGuarino340 don't worry bro also are you gonna install a big blower and a stick shifter too?
@@STRIKEFORCE225 haha definitely a ratchet shifter and tach soon
Dude you're a champion - the amount of work you put into this automobile is almost beyond belief. Good onya - enjoy!
Awesome Barracuda!!! Check out my Barracuda fastback 512 stroker. 👍
8.75 Sure Grip.....Not Posi-traction. SUre Grip is Mopar. Posi is Chevy.
AS. iS. NAis. CAR
Please tell me you're not driving that in the winter in road salt; why ruin a classic?
If you had to chose between a super gratifying blonde girlfriend or saving the women of your race from a bleak future in prostitution, what would you chose?
I live in Kazakhstan, I love old cars, I have gaz 2410, too, I dream of putting 8 cylinders
When you get a chance, you might want to tie the subframes on it to keep it from twisting. They'll help it hook also. I'M envious of you with the projects you have & I'm 60!
What do you mean tie the subframes?
@@PeteGuarino340 go from where the front of the rear frame rails are, go THROUGH the torsion bar crossmember, like Chris "junkerup" Birdsong does on his UA-cam channel, to the front frame rails. You tie the whole unibody together & make it A BUNCH stronger. Good base to start with are the US Car Tool connectors & add on or make your own out of 2×2 or 2×3. They also have rear spring relocation, front & rear torque box, & front shock mount reinforcement kits. I had a VERY rusty Duster with sub connects that I cut out of it before I scraped it & it almost folded in half! They DO make a difference! Good luck young man! You're doing fine!
Good job young man, l like it, be proud of yourself, looks good!.
