- Understanding the difference between Partial Mashing and Steeping can make you a better brewer. I take a deep dive into Partial Mashing and grain characteristics that can help you decide when you should include a partial mash and when you can just steep specialty grains.
Two great articles on Partial Mashing vs Steeping:

I hope to put out a companion article on this topic, but in the meantime be sure to check out my other articles at www.cascadeshomebrew.com/

very informative, thank you
AWESOME CONTENT!!!THANKS
Really well done. I can tell you spent a lot of time on this one. Your content is a nice balance; you go deep enough to be informative for intermediate brewers without being sooo deep that it becomes too lengthy or hard to follow. Nice job. - Jeff (BeerAndTele from HBT)
Great content! Thanks for doing this. I have done 4-5 batches of NEIPA extract brews with steeping grains. They always turn out with a great mouth feel just like yours did. I love the way they drink, especially with some lactose
I am glad you enjoyed the content. I don't brew a lot with extract myself (outside mostly of smaller experimental batches) but I do believe that extract based brewing can be used to make really good beers.
