This is great, thanks for this video. Another thing I've had to learn in my transition from stills to video is to avoid the urge to pan all the time. That introduces a lot of unsteadiness in handheld footage and it's also much less necessary than you think at first.

Hi 👋😁 great vid! I’d like to ask why do people place a mic on their camera when shooting B rolls, but the sound gets stripped out of the footage in post anyway? Is it for styling or stability or other unknown purpose? Thanks! ☺️
If you're also recording better sound with an external field recorder, having the camera audio makes it very easy to sync the external audio track. Current editing programs let you align the waveforms automatically.
why is that so many pro's on video don't use /aren't seen using a camera strap , which for me, aids my ability to rigidly hand hold the camera ( and stop it dropping to the ground ) ?

Because I would rather get nat sound (natural sound) just in case I need it and be able to toss it if I choose to.

I always wonder this! I use the strap and it helps so much
