Great analysis as always master Patrick, one thing you didn't mention but you are surely aware of , is the pelvic loading , he turns his hip to the net , while his knees are pointing towards the back fence while he bends. His hip is inside the base line as he bends. That creates greater rotational hip and shoulders speed. He gains speed from the leg push and the hip rotation at the same time. Also is arm pronation speed is really fast , very loose wrist and elbow, very flexible shoulder muscle when he bends his arm backwards it an arched back as he moves up towards the ball. Catching the ball at the maximum height when it stops and have no downward move ( 0 speed). His serve is a perfection of technic in many levels. The deep backward bend and quick spring up is deliberate to generate speed and power. He combined technic used by several great legendary servers into his own unique style. I assume its hard to do it consistently at a long match to bend so much without getting tired in long games or long grand slam matches.
Ben was in the semis and quarters of a slam this year. He beat Jannik Sinner to win his first ATP 500 title this year. He has the game to win a slam and big titles. He just needs a good draw and to keep improving which we all know he would. O only wish him good health. He'll do the rest.
The important part is he makes contact with the ball the way Pete Sampras used to and Nick Kyrgios still does. Most servers find it very unnatural. The path of the ball when it is struck well is a thing of beauty.
Ben Shelton is a beast of a player....he'll be at least in the top ten, but I think he has the potential to be in the top 3. He's got massive weapons and just needs more experience and confidence using them.
You forgot to mention how his knees and feet point away and even backwards from the court in the load position. It's like he is jumping backwards into the court.

Let's look at Roddick. Power alone on serve is great but forehand and backhand needs work for precision shots. If Ben got all these he will be great.
@@TrumpforPresident24 Sure ....but trump for prison ....

Hilarious 😆
Very similar to Andy Roddick with the loading and abbreviated backswing, generates a lot of racquet head speed.
Isn’t another unorthodox feature is that his follow through is down the same side?
Such a big serve Ben Shelton !
His serve kind of reminds me of Greg Rusedski’s

Not really . He turns as he is jumping . So he is jumping forward . His back isn’t facing the net as he hits the ball 🤣
This Kid looks like he could be a Physically Dominant player
Shelton = irritating 1 trick pony
Nailed it. Immature.
What do he do to u? U can can’t handle someone passionate about playing the sport grow up
Being a d1ck is not the same as being passionate. Shelton acts like a 15yr old.@@watermelonindianboi
Awful technique
