I'm going to an open weekend at Hampshire Carnivorous Plants next weekend. Might be fun to do a feature, they've won lots of medals

Simply Brilliant, I'm a new subscriber and at 83yrs probably one of your oldest😍. I absolutely love what you are doing and the enthusiasm you have for your plants.
The Cambridge business you visited is a prime example of what British business can grow and offer and as someone who remembers Britain before globalisation I find it very satisfying we have such thriving places springing up right here once again.
I'm certainly loving your enthusiasm and I'm really enjoying wading through your great videos. Thank you so much for sharing.

What fun! I love to hear about businesses who consider smarter ways to operate, even if it's costly.
Every time I see a greenhouse full of beautiful plants, I get some kind of endorphin rush, crazy.

Thank you for bringing up the problem of the peat industry! I've just published a children's book in collaboration with a Canadian ecologist that teaches about the terrible repercussions of peat mining. Coir is a great alternative ❤

What an amazing place, and now I know where to get a lauterbachiana from that's kind to the planet 😊Also, great to see you got a cucullata. It's such an underrated Alocasia, I absolutely love mine, although mine is a slightly different variety called Alocasia cucullata Lemon variegated; with minimal variegation, but still gorgeous in my view. I hope you enjoy both your new plant babies, even more so with the fact they were kindly gifted. This company definitely deserves recognition and support.

Peat free gardening is being popularized by Monty Don from Gardener's World. Peat is still used especially for plants preferring acidic soil and it's good to know what it could be replaced with.
Thank you Claire for very interesting video.

I highly recommend Summer Hill garden centre in Essex for fair priced houseplants, it’s my favourite garden centre and the selection is fantastic! 😁

This was so awesome to see. when i started growing 2 years ago i was luckily enough to discover coir early on. It's so nice to see large growing companies being sustainable. Enjoy watching your elephant ear grow nice and big. My Wentii has pretty big leaves now and i cant stop looking at them.
Side note, i love that purple sword! i managed to get a half dying one for free in sainsbury's and it had a baby growing next to it. the baby is thriving and i got a couple corms out of the soil too, but the mother is dead now :(
Thanks for the awesome content! looking forward to the next video :)
    Take care!

Loving your videos and grateful to see this recommendation. I knew a lot of outdoor plants had moved to peat-free, hadn't realised it was still an issue for houseplants

Hi, I'm new to your channel and have loved it. Love your plant shop tours- have you tried Wisley garden centre? I have question about humidifiers- do they cause damp and mould in your house? Many thanks.

did not know that the UK is still using peat and that is not that spread. In Germany I do not know any (online) shops that use peat anymore - maybe some bigger Gardencenters but when I bought plants they where in coco coir. Would be interesting to see G&G why they still have 3% peat. Looking forward to Emmas video

When you look at these plants in perfect condition then go to a big box store where they are piled into draughty places and watered in a hit or miss fashion, it’s no contest

The video is good and interesting but that background music... please don't use it, natural sounds are much better.

I like the content but hate the loud repetative "music" that makes it necessary to read the subtitles and I couldn't stand listening to it for 15 minutes so I stopped watching, sorry
