Honourable mention since it's going to be a TV show not movie, but the Grisha Trilogy and Six of Crows. I'm excited but also incredibly nervous. So many things can go wrong lol
let's hope Grisha trilogy and six of Crows that they don't follow the shadowhunters way and are gonna be good series. I haven't read any of the books but i have heard good things about them.
They are pretty good books, though Grisha trilogy was just ok for me. SOC was a lot better. Hah oh no, the Shadowhunter tv series....I wish to forget that lol if they do anything similar I'll probably cry.
There is one book that you left that is being adapted as a movie starring Tom Holland produced by Jake Gyllenhaal called ''devil all the time''.....i am so excited for it cause tom is playing a drug addict.... Yayyyyy fingers crossed✌✌
Noa L honestly I feel like it’s not even happening anymore, it was announced like 2 or 3 years ago and they wrote the script for the pilot like over a year ago but there’s been absolutely no news since so idk
Hey Hailey! Yes, i was hoping you'd mention Frank Herbert's 1965 science fiction classic novel DUNE!!! lol but it's okay, i'll let you off lol. Dune will be newly adapted in 2020, so i'm very excited for that. I love your channel by the way! you don't know me obviously but i've been watching your videos since forever! sending love from England, UK!
Little fires Everywhere is coming out as a mini series with Reese Witherspoon 🙌 Can't wait for it😊 Oh, and also Netflix is adapting The Babysitters Club !
I got so confused when she mentioned Love, Simon. I thought she meant the movie, and that I had somehow just dreamt up the entire movie and its release. Thank god I hadn't
Shadow Of Night, book 2 in the All Souls series by Deborah Harkness is meant to be coming releasing next year. It’ll probably be like A Discovery Of Witches was last year and be a September/October release date! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!
The Bridgerton series on Netflix is supposedly coming out in 2020. It's based on the regency romance series by Julia Quinn, starting with the Duke and I.
I always get super nervous about book to movie adaptations. It's so easy to mess up the story that I've learned to never get my hopes up until after it's come out and fellow book readers give their seal of approval.
Hi Hailey, thanks for the video. I have also heard that Emma from Jane Austen is coming in February. Also in February should be coming out series 5th of Outlander.😘😘
Let's not forget about the adaptation of the knife of never letting go or whatever it is called with Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley which is rumoured to NEVER be coming out, that sounds really interesting
Defending Jacob by William Landay is been adapted with the one and only Chris Evans as the main character and I think (not sure) is coming out in 2020 on Apple Tv.
Have you read "Call of the Wild"? There is only one part that makes one sad, but it is a great book. But, I know people read things differently. But that makes me happy! I LOVE Jack London!
oh my gosh, I literally just finished Lilly and Dash's book of dares and I really liked it. I hope the tv series does the book justice because I will be disappointed otherwise! I am going to read twelve days of Lilly and Dash next :D
I heard The Invisibles Man by Ralph Ellison will be coming out on Feburary 2020 as well as Enola Holmes TBA 2020 and the children classic the secret garden
I’m looking forward to the new babysitters club series on Netflix I been excited for that since it was announced last year I loved the original tv show growing up
So looking forward to Artemis Fowl! The main character is an anti-hero who becomes a hero, a genius twelve year old boy who kidnaps a fairy and ransoms her to her people.
Currently reading Artemis Fowl before the movie! :D Also read All the Bright Places before watching the movie, it's good but obviously the book is better :D Also want to read Donald Ray Pollack's The Devil All the Time and Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile before its adaptations come out :D
I’m really excited for ps. I still love you and witches by Roald Dahl as I’m a big fan of both the authors. I hope they are not disappointing because my poor heart can not take it! Ps. You look so pretty, Hailey! ❤️😍
I don't know how Stargirl didn't make it on this list. There is absolutely no reason to not believe it will come out next year, on Disney+. I mean of course it will probably be Disney Channelified like HOw My Personal, Private Diary Became a Bestseller, but also I feel like Disney Channel style material is much stronger overall last few years, at least more so than Read It And weep is. But I think it's worth noting that both Disney and Netflix are taclking this. You mentioned Disney with a couple of these but I find it very odd that you didn't bring them up for Aretmis Fowl, which btw you gave the wrong date for, it comes out May 29th, if it came out on the date you said it would be stealing audience away from Mulan, and Disney definitely doesn't want that.
I have 2 book recommendations for you: 1) Refugee by Alan Gratz( expect you to like it as you liked the salt to the sea, roses under fire, fall of giants etc....) 2) The Last Lecure by Randy Pausch( this book changed my life.. pls read it and share your reviews with your fans( you can call your fans like me; Hailians)
Agree on all the bright places! But ps I still love you yaaaay! Reeeally hope Disney doesn't ruin Simon but then again I don't use Disney plus anyway so I guess it doesn't matter much for me lol
I’ve always thought One of Us is Lying would be great on screen!
Sameee
Love all Karen McManus books, cant wait to see the show/movie
Yeah it’s my favourite book I’m reading the sequel rn and it would be amazing on screen as well!
Just bought the book...and now, i'm here.
Just finished Book 1 now going start reading the sequel
I know a lot of people are nervous for the new Rebecca adaptation but Lily James and Armie Hammer are two of my favorite actors so I'm very excited.

They are pretty good books, though Grisha trilogy was just ok for me. SOC was a lot better.
Hah oh no, the Shadowhunter tv series....I wish to forget that lol if they do anything similar I'll probably cry.
It would be the worst if they did the storm of crows like shadow hunters. So terrible
Netflix needs to renew Anne with an E
Yes that would be great!
Amy Adams was in Sharp Objects, but still SO excited for Woman In The Window
Right, not in Gone Girl. I was confused as to who she played in Gone Girl for a sec.
The Chaos Walking Trilogy is coming out in 2020, but not many people know about it so it’s okay
literally beyond excited for this movie, one of the best trilogies ever💕
....well....the movie has been pushed back so many times already that I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t come out
I really hope it comes out, I can’t wait to see Tom Holland as Todd!!
All The Bright Places is coming out February 28th btw. I think January 1st was just rumored.
Yeah they announced it after this was filmed!
Supposed to be released in 2020, there's also "The Gentleman’s Guide To Vice & Virtue"!!! :D
yes!!! on HBO!
Oh there's also little fires everywhere with Reese Witherspoon
Really.... I'd love to watch it as a movie!
@@joblue8065 actually I think its gonna be a miniseries

There is one book that you left that is being adapted as a movie starring Tom Holland produced by Jake Gyllenhaal called ''devil all the time''.....i am so excited for it cause tom is playing a drug addict.... Yayyyyy fingers crossed✌✌
The selection is coming!!
The Nightingale is supposed to be adapted but idk when. I saw Dakota and Elle Fanning are playing the sisters. Thanks for this list!
I was so confused when you started talking about Simon, for a second I thought I was watching a video about the wrong year lmfao
Moxie is coming out next year as well and it's being directed by Amy Poehler!
glambert169507

Noa L honestly I feel like it’s not even happening anymore, it was announced like 2 or 3 years ago and they wrote the script for the pilot like over a year ago but there’s been absolutely no news since so idk
Why is this making me cry? Am I seriously THAT excited about these adaptations
Hey Hailey! Yes, i was hoping you'd mention Frank Herbert's 1965 science fiction classic novel DUNE!!! lol but it's okay, i'll let you off lol. Dune will be newly adapted in 2020, so i'm very excited for that. I'm going to reread All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven because I roughly cannot remember what happened so I'll do that, then watch the movie 😀😀
Amy Adams was in Sharp Objects, not in Gone Girl. And Eoin is pronounce as Owen
I use to have a book club in college that we read books that became movies.

Little fires Everywhere is coming out as a mini series with Reese Witherspoon 🙌 Can't wait for it😊 Oh, and also Netflix is adapting The Babysitters Club !
Amy Adams was in Sharp Objects, Rosamund Pike was in Gone Girl! Same author though!
The witches is already a film. BUT I read woman in the window and I am excited for that
I got so confused when she mentioned Love, Simon.

Eoin is pronounced Owen! Just wanted to let you know
I never knew that! I always said it the way Hayley did lol
Erin S. Eoin is an Irish name. The ‘E’ is basically silent.
Yess
It's there at the back of all of the Artemis Fowl books😂
I’m so happy the One and Only Ivan is gonna be a movie! I read that book in the 4th grade! It was really good and wholesome.
The Bridgerton series on Netflix is supposedly coming out in 2020. It's based on the regency romance series by Julia Quinn, starting with the Duke and I.
I'm SO excited for Rebecca!
One book I recommend is "With the Fire on High". Also, I really like your channel.

The witches is technically a remake the one before it came out in the 90s
