The biggest problem I have with any pro 2nd amendment group not supporting Rittenhouse or not bothering to take a position on the case is they failed to realize what was at stake and it wasn't just Rittenhouse's freedom. Our individual right to defend ourselves was in jeopardy by potentially setting judicial precedence that would strip most of those rights away if this case had been lost. There was plenty of evidence to support a self defense claim. At least enough for Rittenhouse to have a lot more people willing to openly support him.
In a sane world it would have never gone to trial & Gage Grossgertz (sp?) would have been charged-at the very least w felon in possession of a firearm-instead he was given a halo & bubble wrapped in victimhood by a corrupt media gunning for Kyles head on a platter. I wish prosecutors weren't allowed to get away with bringing up irrelevant things and opinions in blatant attempts at character assassination, which fortunately in this case backfired. Does make me wonder about this guy's past cases, and how standard a strategy that is for him.

To be honest, there's nothing good about the situation. People keep hyping this to be some landmark win and that he is a hero. But it's just another case of self-defense, and he is just a kid, and this is being overly politicized and circulated. I think personally, he should have been punished in some respect. This entire scenario is a joke, and tbh the fact that we even let this become so publicized is a bigger joke. heres the quote from the NY times article that started the BRCC controversy: “You can’t let sections of your customers hijack your brand and say, ‘This is who you are,’” Best told me. “It’s like, no, no, we define that.” The Rittenhouse episode may have cost the company thousands of customers, but, Hafer believed, it also allowed Black Rifle to draw a line in the sand. “It’s such a repugnant group of people,” Hafer said. “It’s like the worst of American society, and I got to flush the toilet of some of those people that kind of hijacked portions of the brand.” Then again, what Hafer insisted was a “superclear delineation” was not too clear to everyone, as Munchel’s choice of headgear vividly demonstrated. In Afghanistan and Iraq, Hafer knew a number of squad mates who had a St. Michael tattoo; for a time, he wore into battle a St. Michael pendant that a Catholic friend gave him. But while the St. Michael design was being mocked up, Hafer said he learned from a friend at the Pentagon that an image of St. Michael trampling on Satan had been embraced by white supremacists because it was reminiscent of the murder of George Floyd. Now any plans for the coffee bag had been scrapped. “This won’t see the light of day,” Hafer said. “You can’t let sections of your customers hijack your brand and say, ‘This is who you are,’” Best told me. “The racism [expletive] really pisses me off,” Hafer said. “I hate racist, Proud Boy-ish people. I love you Donut, but BRCC lost me when dude started claiming he was gonna dox Alex Jones Edit: Doxing is fucked and can cost lives, as we all know! Such talk is completely beneath a Veteran who risked life and limb to do the exact goddamn opposite by serving the American civilian population, and protecting their brothers in arms. That said, I truly think the anger over the whole BRCC thing, boils down to this; Some will always look to those who lead, or can lead. With the BRCC being so Vet oriented, I think many feel betrayed by those there, who, they themselves, have been in streets, with weapons, stopping bad while attempting to do good in between all the bad. I can only see two differences in the scenarios 1. A soldier's AO takes place off American soil. Kyle's was at home 2. A soldier's objective is not against American civilians. Kyle was amongst his own neighbors All it takes for bad/wrong to take hold is for the good/right to do nothing. I know that I, myself, wanted and expected more testicular fortitude from Vets that were fortunate enough to have such a platform and position of standing, as a full blown business, plus its backing. I really don't mean for this to be a "let's all shit on brcc" rant. But I share these feelings, and these positions are held, firmly, by me, and many others. There will always be those "there's no right or correct answer" moments in life. I can openly acknowledge and respect the truth of that. I should know, and I know you do too, Donut, as do so many others. But at some point, one must damn the torpedoes and call for "full steam ahead". Lest one be found guilty of weakness in the eyes of those one claims to protect. Is it fair or just? I dont know, except to say that's up for debate in either direction. BRCC didn't say that a few months ago when they got in hot water.... they compared him and a portion of their audience to the worst, to the trash, instead of defending their customers, instead of defending Kyle, they didn't. That is the problem. Direct quote, "“We do not support legal advocacy efforts. We do not sponsor, nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI.” You can conflate and wordsmith their words all you want, it doesn’t matter, if they would have said that they support everyone’s right to defend themselves including Kyle, things would be different, but they didn’t. So... they called their customers racists; they didn't support a guy who they should have right from the beginning. They forgot their customer base... and tried to play the middle, they pandered to the woke left, and that is why. They might be good buddies of yours, that’s cool man, you have the right to be friends with anyone you want. The NYTIMES interview and the tweets speak for themselves... you think all of us are wrong? No.... they should have stood up for the second amendment, they should have stood up for their customers, they should have stood up for Kyle, they didn't. That’s all. So... we will not stand up for them. The entire meaning of their company is lost.

The reason some people want to hear an apology from BRCC about Kyle is that they handle that twitter and media firestorm so poorly that they alienated supporters for Kyle and it didn't help that BRCC mostly Evan flee to NY times which is a major mistake as NY times probably took BRCC out of context but Evans statements and comments about customers leaving BRCC is sketchy at best and needs clearer clarification. It also doesn't help that BRCC Evan liked the NY times Twitter post about their interview. which either Evan is a moron and clearly did not read the article or agrees on how NY times contextualized their side. I know you are friends with them but............... “You can’t let sections of your customers hijack your brand and say, ‘This is who you are,’” Best told me. “The racism [expletive] really pisses me off,” Hafer said. “I hate racist, Proud Boy-ish people. Like, I’ll pay them to leave my customer base. I would gladly chop all of those people out of my [expletive] customer database and pay them to get the [expletive] out.” If that was the case, I asked, had Black Rifle - which sells a Thin Blue Line coffee - considered changing the name of its Beyond Black coffee, a dark roast it has sold for years, to Beyond Black Lives Matter? Surely that would alienate the racists polluting its customer base.

It also doesn't accurately reflect the tone of their original statement, or the "clarifications" he issued. He's trying to have it both ways. What he said here is likely his honest view, but when you try to ride the fence based on what's convenient that day you should expect people to question where you really stand.
The shit they've been up to is a pattern of where they stand, from their donations to their statements to the tweets and likes. They knew what they were doing, the mask didn't just slip, it fell straight off. Compare these people to Mike Lindell, as Veterans they shouldn't come up so lacking.
In case you missed it: a legal breakdown of why KR can't claim Defense constitutionally - Jeff Knight From a military legal worker: I'm seeing a lot of ignorance and misinformation flying around about what happened in Kenosha, and I'm going to set the record straight from a professional legal position... as well as from a former military position. I'm going to explain some things from a more technical angle derived from my many years as a paralegal and from my experience working in federal criminal justice and prosecution. Legally, if you are in the process of a commission of a crime, it negates your ability to claim self defense if you kill someone. As in, it can't even be entered as your official defense in court. It is similar to getting rear-ended at a red light through zero fault of your own, but you were driving without a license or insurance. It automatically makes you at fault because you weren't even legally allowed to be driving. That 17 year old in Kenosha had committed two crimes and was not even legally allowed to open carry the rifle he used to shoot three people. This means that he legally cannot claim self defense. Another key discussion is the Castle Doctrine. Some of you may be vaguely familiar with it, as it is what allows you to use deadly force when someone comes into your house unlawfully, etc. But there are some finer points most people don't realize that you generally have to do some formal legal studies to know. First, as soon as someone sets foot inside the threshold of your home uninvited that you believe intends to commit a crime, you can legally use deadly force and it is immediately considered self defense, even if they haven't made any violent threats or actions towards harming you. This is because in every instance outside your home, you are required to retreat and extricate yourself from a dangerous situation if possible. It is a legal mandate, not a suggestion. Your home is considered the final retreat point, and legally you should be safe in your "Castle." There is nowhere else to retreat to, etc. This is why you are able to immediately use deadly force. However, it is NOT to protect your property, it is for protecting your LIFE. And once the burglar, for instance, has left your home... the threat to your life is considered neutralized, and deadly force is no longer authorized. So if a burglar runs out the door and down the street with your TV, you are no longer allowed to shoot after them because they are not threatening your life. You call the police, you file a claim with your insurance, and you get a new TV. If you shoot a burglar in the back down the street, you can and should be charged with murder. While you are out in PUBLIC, this means a lot of things obviously. It means that there is far more scrutiny and boxes that must be checked in order to claim self defense. You must be in IMMINENT danger of losing life and limb. Getting into an argument and feeling scared of being punched by an unarmed person? Not likely to be a situation where deadly force is authorized. You MUST retreat. If someone shoots at you or pulls a knife on you in the street, that is deadly force and can be met with deadly force. But if the person is unarmed, you cannot shoot them because you're afraid of a little scuffle. That is why Rittenhouse illegally shot the first protester, and it is one of the many reasons it cannot be considered self defense. The man threw a plastic bag with trash in it at him AND MISSED, and Rittenhouse shot him. He chased his victim and instigated a fight by brandishing and flagging people with his rifle, because he is an untrained idiot with a gun. The protester was not a threat, and even if he was, all he had to do was retreat back to the police line. He rushed at protesters with a gun drawn to pick a fight, and people are acting as if he were just there to keep the peace. He fired INTO A CROWD, and it's a miracle he didn't hit more people. More people that hadn't thrown a plastic bag. More people that were just trying to protest police brutality, which is a real issue in this country. And then when he did finally run away, some more protesters attempted to subdue him after he had already murdered someone, he tripped, and shot two people trying to stop him from shooting others. The fact that the police didn't arrest him and take him into custody right then and there, even if they suspected it could be self defense, is a grave issue with that police department. I could further dissect this situation, but for now I'm going to end with people passing around misinformation about the victims being "criminals so they deserved it." First, there are no actual records of Jacob Blake or the people shot by Rittenhouse being in the official sex offender's registry. None of them raped a 14 year old girl years ago, that is complete fabrication being purposely spread by right wing extremist sites in order to try and justify the shootings. Jacob Blake was indeed awaiting trial for sexual assault and trespassing, and did have a warrant for his arrest. It was not assault on a child, because that is a different charge with a different title. On the charging document, it would literally say that it was against a child. From what is publicly known, he allegedly broke into an ex girlfriend's house and allegedly assaulted HER, but he is innocent until proven guilty, and still deserves his day in court. He could truly be innocent. Rittenhouse's victims do not appear to have had any record, and even if they did, he couldn't have known that at the time. You cannot insist a shoot was justified AFTER the fact because "that person was a criminal." Criminals have rights too, whether you like it or not, and it is enshrined in the very documents that built our country. If you don't like the constitution and bill of rights, I don't know what to tell you. This is also not MY OPINION, this is literally how the criminal justice system and our laws work. I hold a degree in paralegal studies and served 8 years as an Army paralegal. I've worked for the criminal division in the Chicago US Attorney's Office, and currently work in federal law enforcement. This is what I do for a living, and I am not pulling this out of my ass, and my knowledge is a culmination of working in the field and being passionate about justice for 16 years. I'd be happy to send you sources and opines and case law and statutes if you need it. I did not get this from "mainstream media," and I am not brainwashed by the left. I'm an independent progressive. No, it shows how biased you are, you evaluate everything based on your personal opinion. The verdict is not guilty so THIS TIME they got it right, the verdict is proof that the guy is innocent. But all the other verdicts are wrong and prove that the system is corrupt. If for you other verdicts are not proof of anything, this verdict also proofs nothing. You can't have the cake and eat it. Meanwhile the left has the complete opposite opinion - why can't you people (both sides who are all in on this culture war) see that the world can't be that black and white where one side is always wrong and the other side is always right? Even this case is not black and white. Yes, it was self-defense but also yes, that idiot should not have been there in the first place and yes, the 3 idiots should have protested peacefully (first amendment) and ignore that stupid kid instead of rioting and attacking that guy. No, he is most likely not a psychopath who went there to kill people, he is a loser ignored by girls who tried to improve his self esteem by playing soldier. But maybe allowing people to play soldier/police on the streets, provoking people and then use the self-defense argument is a slippery slope. And lets be honst, if a black kid armed with a AR15 killed 3 white guys that night, the chance of him being shot by police would be higher and the chance to be declared guilty would be higher. But also: the fact that cops are more likely to trust a white person, is not just racism, the danger of being killed by a black guy of age 20-35 is measurable higher (and you can argue about the reason for that all day long).

Like, I’ll pay them to leave my customer base. Surely that would alienate the racists polluting its customer base. This is bests and evans comments about Kyle. The biggest problem I have with any pro 2nd amendment group not supporting Rittenhouse or not bothering to take a position on the case is they failed to realize what was at stake and it wasn't just Rittenhouse's freedom.

Brcc trying to backtrack af lol
Lol the brcc grift bs was gross
I love you Donut, but BRCC lost me when dude started claiming he was gonna dox Alex Jones
Edit:
Doxing is fucked and can cost lives, as we all know! Such talk is completely beneath a Veteran who risked life and limb to do the exact goddamn opposite by serving the American civilian population, and protecting their brothers in arms.
That said,
I truly think the anger over the whole BRCC thing, boils down to this;
Some will always look to those who lead, or can lead. With the BRCC being so Vet oriented, I think many feel betrayed by those there, who, they themselves, have been in streets, with weapons, stopping bad while attempting to do good in between all the bad.
I can only see two differences in the scenarios
1. A soldier's AO takes place off American soil. Kyle's was at home
2. A soldier's objective is not against American civilians. Kyle was amongst his own neighbors
All it takes for bad/wrong to take hold is for the good/right to do nothing.
But it is, nonetheless, as true as the day is long.
May my love for the protectors of this Nation, and her Thin Blue Line reach you Bone-nut Boperator, and all your loved ones.

Daily Beast last year.
In case you missed it: a legal breakdown of why KR can't claim Defense constitutionally - Jeff Knight
From a military legal worker:
I'm seeing a lot of ignorance and misinformation flying around about what happened in Kenosha, and I'm going to set the record straight from a professional legal position... as well as from a former military position.
I could further dissect this situation, but for now I'm going to end with people passing around misinformation about the victims being "criminals so they deserved it."
First, there are no actual records of Jacob Blake or the people shot by Rittenhouse being in the official sex offender's registry.
May he face justice for what he did, and may we find a way to get on common ground before more fuses to this powder keg are lit.

But also: the fact that cops are more likely to trust a white person, is not just racism, the danger of being killed by a black guy of age 20-35 is measurable higher (and you can argue about the reason for that all day long).

completely the best move a company can make, not to even mention that from the quote that you shared (i didnt watch the interview so i could be wrong) he is calling out those that did the same thing as in the left, JUMP TO CONCLITIONS, even if you have a lot of evidence the only thing you can do especially as a company is reach a personal conclusion, you cant come out and say a statement only to be completely destroyed in the future because you jumped the gun.
