Pro tip for anyone with multiple cars: Get a dry-erase board for your shop/garage and have a status for each car. when it was last ran/heat-cycled, oil changed. I'd also get a battery tender or two and rotate them around. You'll save so much time, money and headache on dead batteries. Your alternators and charging system will last longer too. a $20 battery tender will pay for itself and takes almost zero of your time.
Or the free, tried and tested service sticker provided on every oil bottle and log books for each. Anyone with kids know, Kids love whiteboards and want to be just like us! I remember doing what you suggested and loosing a whole month's worth of work, I kept using it while taking photos at the end of every night just in case hahaha. Now it's a logbook with ALL specs kept in every glovebox. Great advice on battery tenders 👍 you can never go past a good jumpstarter too!

2 additions that would be great for the shop - Hot cabinet parts washer and a blast media cleaning cabinet. Make these builds look spot on. The channel and the shop have grown, time to hire an apprentice. Also, as many have said, a FULL exhaust ( with remote cut out ) and a hood. #PimpWAGO (83weeks since it had some love)
I agree with the full exhaust with a cutout. I love all the cars that I’ve seen over the years on the channel but most of them are full blown race cars. It would be cool to see Wago kept somewhat streetable so Kyle can use it more often.

The k20z3 block is known for cracking the block and having coolant leaks. I would sleeve it before hitting it with some boost to avoid problems in the future. Good luck!

I have a stock 87 Wagovan , neighbors named him Puddles cause they heard me call it a puddle jumper so tghe name just stayed lol , thanks for sharing this video of waggo , i drove my poor little 87 from Oregon to northern Minnesota not ome problem except for headlight adjustment , couldn't figure out how to adjust them on the road trip so i parked at night , made it home in Minnesota , fun to dri e him but only in summer as there is no rust anywhere and they salt the roads in Minnesota . its fun because nobody can figure out what it is here lol , love that little car . going to restore my little buddy
If you have the time you should get the windows tinted on wago that fresh paint job you had done on it and the black trim and black wing. Some tinted windows would set it off 💯 ....... Definitely Looking forward to to what parts you are going to be putting into the motor. And are you going to fill around the cylinders walls like you did in the 1st MR2 motor (I think it was) hard to keep track of what car the motor was for you have built so many but thought it was a great idea to do when you did it and definitely helped before you started putting all the boost to it.

Wow,that wedged rod is insane! Lol. I just got a used motor hoping to build for my project and after tearing it down, it's full of metal shavings, ate a couple bearings, exploded oil pump. So be thankful,you got lucky. I did not. Lol.

Love seeing wago content, I own a boosted B series Ef hatch had it for like 6 years now, last night I made a list of everything I need to make the car exactly how I want it, it's gonna be at least another 6 years before I meet that goal lmfao.
Maybe it was just the lighting, but that looked like a HUGE crack in the underside of the block where he said the broken rod hit a few times. Its at 14:42 to the left of the oil squirter. He even ran his finger across it at the end while he was saying it looked fine. Sometimes when you are focused on one part you might be missing something huge right next to it.
I wish i knew as much as you guys i started a k20Z3 build on a em2 and i decided to turbo it out and the 2 mechanics ive taken it to have both just robbed me ... :'( so its just sitting cause of simple things litterally just needs a few bolts some water lines , the piping and intercooler monted and a down pipe made , hopefully get it done this year
Don’t take it to mechanics. Most will do a crap job and still charge an extortionate price for their time, not to mention upcharging on any parts/supplies they buy for your build, they don’t even try to source cheap/decent priced parts because it’s not their money. Any mechanic who does a good job will charge ridiculous money for their time because otherwise they would have too much work. It’s a tough lesson but in the long run you should chip away at it yourself on the weekends or after work. Use the internet, Watch a few UA-cam videos. Everyone starts somewhere and once you learn how to do something you won’t forget it because it’s your car pride/joy, so you’re always going to improve. For the extra costs of a mechanic you can easily pay for a welder and a second hood to have a hood exit. Down pipe is easily the hardest part
The first reply is accurate, could have it done within a week or two if you really wanted, waterlines are a quick google to find out what size and they’ll be cheap. Intercooler mounts can just be crudely made L brackets, or go to a junkyard and find something that will work off another make/model. Piping is just putting it in there and seeing what will work and what other bends/lengths you’ll need to buy, Down pipe is hard in my experience and worth paying for or finding someone who sells one that bolts on.
I think its time to put a hood on wago it would make it look so much cleaner do a nice full 3 inch exhaust then it would look like a straight sleeper for sick week who eles agrees with me?

I hope you Build Wago in an almost show car model type with some bells and whistles , dash etc all clean lookin . It literally one of the only Hondas I owned . I had I think an 89 I think it was , one of my first rides .I blew it up and got an old colt vista lol
