Those resistors get extremely hot, do not mount on plastic or rubber. They mounted on the taillight which it will melt right through after a couple of days. Get extra wiring if needed, mount one side negative and other on positive. Mount it on car frame, metal, right where the taillight goes and make sure it does not touch any wires nor plastics once you insert taillight. You can get them on amazon or eBay and usually you will need a resistor when using LED lights since they consume so little voltage and makes the vehicle’s computer go crazy thinking there is no bulb working. Hope this helps.
You are correct BUT we worked out the maximum resistor value that you need to make the light work which is 25 Ohm and this does not get hot as it is only the indicator - which is On / OFF so not on all the time.... so have a cup tea and relax - panic over !
Hi. What about the front indicator? Upgraded rear lights for my L320 2006 and it worked properly with the R15. When upgraded my front headlights to 2010 , the turn signal blinking resumed !! Any advise pls. thanks
I’ve installed the resistors in the rear lights on the back 05 Sport, they are flashing normally outside however the interior right indicator in the car still flashes fast whilst the left flashes normally. Do you need the same resistors for the front lights as well ?
Very nice vids ! This will help me to upgrade my rangie ! You can post much more, i like this kind of vids for the rr sport Thank you very much and a happy new year
Hi Adrian - in the 2010 LED lights this cannot be changed - on the 2005-2009 lights the bulbs can be removed by twisting the rear bulb holders - you need to remove the light first - hope this helps.
Sorry i cant tell you that for commercial reasons... although if you have an IQ above 12 you may be able to work it our from the info on our website www.powerfuluk.com/range-rover-sport-2010-led-rear-light-conversion-indicator-ballast-resistor-kit.html
question for you Range Rover fans i found a nice 2008 RR sport super charged but people are saying they're nice but when it come to reliability they're shit. is it worth the time and effort of the problems if there are any?
+me2456 Hi - its a lot of car for the money - the engine is BMW so that should be reliable ( mine is ) - air suspension can play up but the parts are cheap and not that complicated to fix. They drink fuel for a hobby though ! my fuel bill is more than my repair bill !
powerfulukltd i drive a 2005 ford f250 mpg isnt an issue lol i found a better deal then the 08 i found a 09 with less miles for 26k :D the way i see it is if you own a car and you dont have problems with it whats the point of owning it? its like half the fun

Thanks for the tutorials; They all come in handy so well! Appreciate it all

@@L663is it the indicator light that causes the computer to read the wrong voltage and potentially cause an HDC fault?
I like the original taillights better. But it’s good to know for people who want to upgrade.

Did you ever figure out the issue?
where did you get that set with the pre-installed resistors?
