I made an edit with 1920 x 1080 for the first time and keep having the out of memory error whenever i try exporting the edit. Ive tried everything from my knowledge and youtube tutorials but still, nothing seems to work. I even upgraded my ram from 16 to 32 but i still have the error. Your gpu is fine, your ram is also upgraded. These kind of errors usually occurs when your gpu or ram is iut of memory allocated. Try to change your aftereffects version

I think is an after effect cc problem and is intentional, if You use after effect 2017 You may see how 8gb ram is enough for almost everything and the differences of new suites are not remarkables, My problem started after I installed after effects cc 2020, now I got the 2022, I upgrade just because I needed some new features from video copilot 2020, if I do not need that, probably I go back to 2017 software.

It's 2022, try with 2020 version. Hopefully it will work and don't uninstall your current aftereffects version. Just download 2020 version of AE and try. That's it

Maybe for some reason your settings are not using your whole 16gb? ( which, you should have 2gb at least available for other apps) that would leave 14gb obviously, and surely that should be enough I still use 8gb I'm dying to upgrade 🤔 just an assumption, maybe you can tweak your settings to how much ram AE uses 😀
@@Freyerx I've allocated 13gb to my adobe softwares but sometimes an out of memory error message still pops up. The only thing that works is uninstalling and reinstalling AE and AME. Have no idea where it's coming from
Changing aftereffects version might help. Also 16 Gb RAM is totally fine but I recommend to use SSD in place of HDD. As it will increase rendering speed exponentially. Also you need to apply secret settings in aftereffects too to get as much fast rendering as possible.
I’m really stuck, so I’ve had after effects for a few months now and exporting was never a problem until I made a more complex edit and it said I ran out of memory and RAM. At the time, I has 16GB of ram and after lots of searching I thought I has to get more RAM. We have a shared laptop so all put some money to get 64GB of RAM which is loadsssss! But I’ve just made another complex edit today that isn’t too long and it won’t let me export again! It’s saying “After effects has unexpected ran out of memory and cannot complete this export.” I also have enough memory on my hard drive. Ssd is solid state drive used as a storage device and it's 600x faster than hard disk drive. It's recommended to install windows and aftereffects on SSD. Also if you can downgrade and switch to 2020-2022 version of aftereffects that would be better, 2023 is nor stable. What's your system specifications?
