Very glad to hear a new vocal recording in your demos, she sounds great, wonderful job!
Dear Dom Sigalas, I would like to leave a UA-cam comment to praise your work as a sound designer. I have learned more from you in a few days than in over 20 years of using recording software, starting with Cool Edit and then Cubase. I sincerely want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and let you know that I will continue to follow you and eagerly learn from you as long as I live!
Since the first time I stumbled upon your videos, I have felt that you are a true expert in the field of sound design. Your clear and detailed explanations have allowed me to deepen my knowledge and improve my skills in recording and music production. Not only do you have vast technical knowledge, but you also possess a great ability to convey information in a clear and understandable manner, even for someone like me who doesn't have a professional background in the field.
Thanks to your tutorials, I have learned numerous tricks and techniques that have helped me achieve incredible results in my recordings. I have learned how to make the most of the features of my recording software and how to use effects to manipulate and enhance sound. Additionally, you have generously shared your "secret sauces" to add a unique touch to tracks and create that beloved 80s atmosphere.
I also want to thank you for your commitment to sharing your knowledge and your dedication to responding to your fans' questions. I truly appreciate that you are willing to give your time and expertise to help others improve their skills in sound design.
I will continue to be a loyal viewer of your videos and learn from you. You are a true source of inspiration, and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us in the future. Thank you again for everything you do and for helping me pursue my dream of becoming a better music producer.
Warm thanks and a big hug,
Thomas Grotto,
This has to be the best vocal track masterclass on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing your techniques Dom!
Nice! As you showed, level-matching is a great way to make sure one's on the right track when doing serial compression and saturation. :D It's easy to be tricked into thinking something is better just because it's louder.
Brilliant tutorial as expected by Dom !
You're the man Dom! Keep crushing it
Wow, I did not realize quite how much compression that professionals use! Really awesome video. Thanks for all your wisdom Dom.
Love these videos! So informative and educational…keep them coming Dom, great work as usual 👌
Your mixing skills are incredible. I learned so much from this and your other videos. Thank you !
It is truly one of the best vocal masterclass on UA-cam! You just earned a sub!! Great job!!
Great Work Dom! I really appreciate your energy and passion in delivering top quality information to make us all get better with our music. Thank you!
Wow, this is a great breakdown, can't wait to apply some of these tips to my vocals! Thanks a lot!
Would be really really grateful if you would make this kind of videos for guitars, drums, bas and so on. Great work man!
Awesome tutorial! Thanks Dom!
WOAH! Probably the best tips ever on vocal processing. Thank you so much Dom!
Man, I love your presentation. Another great tutorial. I don’t deal with vocals much, but I can use these techniques on other things as well
Thank you Dom for your valuable insight.!
Great video Dom! Learn something from your work every time! Thank you for your videos!
Oh my !!! You just blew my mind up !!! Great work and so inspiring the automation bit. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge 👍🏻
Thank you so much , Dom !
Dom, you made my day! Got perfect vocals now! THX a lot!
Another fantastic video Dom! Thank you very much. Your knowledge and skill base never ceases to blow my mind! Thank you in advance for the plugin links too! 👍😊
WOW! A true masterclass! I'm a complete noob, fearful of how to process vocals for a professional sound. Seriously, I teared up at the end from sheer delight of haven been given access to the knowledge and skill of an audio mixing/mastering master. Fascinating how each processing step adds its own nuance(s). Thanks so much, Dom. And, thank you as well to all the commenters sharing their take and experience. I suggest watching this multiple times to ensure it soaks in. Also, compare and contrast with other techniques, and BE SURE to watch Dom's "Gain State Like a Pro" video.
I really enjoyed this video and learned a lot from it . Thank you so much , Dom !
Yup. So awesome. Dom that was a superb tutorial. Thankyou I saved the video 🥳
Have to say thanks for your videos, they really are transforming how i work/use cubase. I've used your vocal techniques from a few videos on my latest track and it's getting great feedback, the manual de essing tutorial was great, same as the vari audio tutorial. Great stuff. Just wanted to say thanks!
You are the Real Truth!!! This video was so helpful and your Passion for music is so inspiring!!!
Thank you so much Dom! This tutorial is excellent, and it comes at exactly the right time. What a great sounding voice and song, absolutely gorgeous. :)
Glad it helps Frank
Thanks so much for all the tips, really clearly explained. Love your studio btw, looks amazing!
Wonderful tutorial Dom
Excellent Explanatory Video👍👍👍👍😀😀😀
Thank you so much for your work. The information is very useful
Super helpful, Dom. The stages give me so much more structure. Thank you! The only thing I’m doing different ist to set the parallel compression as a pre and set the routing of both the vocals and the parallel compression FX channel to a new bus. On this bus I’m automating the volume so the compression is stable. Also I’m sending reverbs from this bus. Beside that this is my new standard chain for vocals!
Dom you're really really awesome 👌 I truly appreciate you guy for educating me and hundreds of others that follow you ...thank you bro.
Best one on the internet giving it for free ! U are mad man !! Thanks !
Thank you for all your videos, it helps me so much in so many ways of creating music. I love your videos !!
Thank you Fabrice!
I compared it to my best preset and this setting of yours is drastically better! I got a pro vocal! Thanks a lot!
Thank you Goran, have fun!
man this is fireeee especially the sends. THANK YOU !
Phantastic, thank you very much!
What a fantastic video. One of the best tutorials I’ve seen in a while. Always a good sign when it wants to make you get up and try what you’ve just watched immediately. So, thanks, gotta go, things to try!
So good to hear Steve! Thank you!
Dom thanks for another great video🤝
i have used most of these on my vocals but the combination is great. I usually start with the CLA2A the tip with multiband taming before is great. the abbey Road saturator is also one of my favourites never disappoints on vox. the parallel cla76 and kramer on the 2 sends was new really nice for chorus vs verse. i usually only throw extra takes on it - you do it all from the one track! tx Dom for sharing
Perfect explanation Dom! I found out I do almost the same things with vocals using my mixing template 😎
This is the best vocal mix tutorial i have come across, thankyou
Thank you! I appreciate this as I am aware there are many excellent tutorials on UA-cam for sure

Thank you for this incredible video, I've been struggling with pop vocals a bit and this helped me a lot though I used different plugins and made some changes in the chain you presented, it still sound great!

Excellent tutorial. Just what I was hoping to find to understand how to fatten and enhance my vocals.
You know when you spend a while mixing a vocal, and you are almost happy with it, then Dom drops a video like this and it is back to the drawing board!!!
Now to duplicate my vocal, try these steps and compare (and possibly blend???)
Great video!!!
Bery very beautiful my sir ❤❤❤❤

Great vocal for demonstration purposes, and a great voice in itself….
BRAVO!
I enjoyed this video and was waiting for the right moment to buy what is listed here and black Friday deals made it possible, I am a proud owner of these plugins and I am ready to move up some levels with editing vocals. Thanks so much for this informative video.
Simply superb....
Very usefull video. Thanks Guy.
I do lay on the beach in Scheveningen (The Netherlands) but I am looking forward to it
Wishing you a beautiful Weekend Dom and all your followers. Thanks in advance for your tutorial
That sounds heavenly Ron!
I got a MIDI Chord Pack Ad while watching this. Lovely! haha
U Da Best Simply!!.... #BIG UP
it's normal tu mix in mono and the sends are in stereo ? i don't have experience in this case
Yes totally normal! Especially stereo sends (reverb, delay, wideners)!
Wow, doing stuff like compression and saturation in tiny steps, it really makes a huge difference!
I find your videos very helpful, thank you 😊 👍🏻
Btw, it would be interesting to see how you treat layers of transient rich, percussive elements. Say, if you have alot of tight midi drums and percussion with overlaying transients that build up.
Fantastic as Always! Thank you for your tips! Wonder if you can do some example on some cinematic tribal viking epic voices! That would be swesome! Cheers!
great, thank for sharing
wow!! this is dope man really helpfull
Glad it helped!
@@DomSigalas can you atleast save a presset on vocals and atleast give us a link to download it....am an upcmng producer in namibia and your videos really tought me alot especial on vocals
