    So pretty 😊! I can feel the snow on my face. Thank you for sharing your talent! This piece makes me homesick for the city...if that's a thing 🤷‍♀️😊. This is how some of the parks looked like at night during a dusting of snow. Just beautiful.

    I have made a few snow globes over the years and generally speaking I use vegetable glycerin ONLY. It makes the glitter float slowly down and although I have added water for some applications I would switch your ratios around. 1C glycerin :1-2 tsp water. I think you'll like the results much better and NEVER have cloudiness.
    Also here in the US you can get a gallon of distilled water at the grocery store (meant for use in your iron so that you don't get calcium or other build up) for around $1.00. That's well worth the time saving for me.
    You're crafting imagination blows me away! While I have thought about doing this kind of thing before I never came up with the method! Kudos!

    I dont do resin, but, I am a very experienced crafter. If resin can take it, put clear cooking oil in and the snow will fall much slower. Or, maybe you can use mineral oil. I'm not sure what resin can handle. Either way, finding a clear oil has such a beautiful slow glitter/snow fall effect. This is absolutely beautiful. 😁👍🏻❤

    Hey Louise! I love all your videos, especially the pyramids. Wanted to stop by and say thank you for not only the effort you put into publishing your projects but for the innovation you’re bringing to resin artists. I have a project in mind that involves first building a very thin walled shell pyramid and then pouring a full volume secondary pyramid inside the shell. And what I’m concerned about is making sure the pour for the secondary pyramid binds well with the initial form. What should I do to make sure all my pours are well joined?

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  4 роки тому

      Thank you for your message Brad, it makes a big difference to me to know that my work is appreciated. When you say you are going to build a primary pyramid, what exactly do you mean? What are you planning to make it from?

    • @bradleyheathhaysable
      @bradleyheathhaysable 4 роки тому

      Louise Singleton Creations By primary pyramid I mean the first shell pyramid created by the four pours it takes with the pyramid form laying on all its different sides. By secondary pyramid I mean a second pour directly into the first pyramid that would probably go in stages.

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  4 роки тому

      Sorry, what i meant was what were you building your primary pyramid from but now I know lol. So if you are filling resin into a resin shell you don’t need to do anything extra at all, they will bond perfectly. I’d love to see what you are making, you have me curious.
