I remember when my kids were little. The struggle was real. Love the plants you got 😍 And how nice your local library does a plant exchange. Thanks for another cheerful video 🧡🌿
I just made a tiny moss pole like you do. If you use amazing tape it helps hold in moisture and puts more focus on the plant rather then ties. Your VMA is gorgeous
Beautiful new plants! Honestly great price for that albo. I’ve been waiting patiently for the prices to go down here in Canada or to even find an established plant like that. One day. Love that library program for plants! How cute! 💚🪴
Ooo! An Albo monstera!! Lucky goose!! I can’t call her basic ❤ I’m more patient now waiting for the right wish list plants to come along, I’m no longer buying whatever I can. That Alocasia is stunning too ❤ I got overly excited about a couple plants I purchased that I fully didn’t appreciate after having it for a while, I didn’t feel bad purging them, maybe in someone else’s care they’d be better or they’d appreciate the leggy or running growth etc Silver sword and pink princess were 2 of them. If I don’t get growth in a year, or super weird growth bye bye How do you keep your open moss poles moist? I’ve left corms with the mother and ended up with lil babies, made my plants bushier, I use a nail brush to get the casing off corms,
ahh I know, I couldn't believe I finally nabbed such a gorgeous one! I've been learning to be patient and try to wait for the right plants to come along. I've been burned one too many times!! I honestly don't do the best at keeping them consistently very moist at all times, but I bring them into the shower about once a week and give them a full soak when I water the plant. They seem to dry out after three or so days, so that's when I bring out my squirt bottle (like the kind you'd use in science class), and I top them off... assuming I remember or have the capacity to do that, which doesn't always happen. The roots still grow into the pole and seem to do well even if I only do it once a week, though! They can tolerate being pretty dry for a day or two.
hi!! I think it's technically not a nursery, but a little plant shop that they run out of their home (and it looks like they do pop-ups in the area), so I'm not sure what their stock looks like, but it was called Green Therapy Tropical Plant Shop!
I know the excitement that we feel when we buy a new plants 🪴

Very timely...I'm considering getting rid of my Silver Sword. I have my ROF on a pole and love it!
😮💨 the silver sword ended up being such a disappointment for me! I'm glad I'm at least not alone hahaha
@@sproutswithjoy Same. And I gave it 2 trys.

Yay corms!!
The good thing is if you need to get that dragon scale out of that glass jar later, you can just smash it 🤷♀️
Firefly in the room a channel here on UA-cam makes and sells pots❤😊
She doesn't make it, she is painting on pots what you want
Can we have a tour of your home some time? It looks beautiful 🤩

Would you share the name of nursery where you bought the Monstera Albo. I appreciate it. Thank you
