My mom did ceramics back in the day. We signed the bottom with our initials and the year we made it. I'm decluttering right now and I can't let them go. ❤
The Reed and Barton piece is silver plated. And it is a wine or champagne bottle coaster. The cork piece is to absorb any condensation that drips down the side of the bottle and puddles on your wood table. The white dish that has the little cracks and texture that you like, (you were holding it talking about being a maximalist). The cracks are called crazing. It happens when the glaze gets too hot washing or just over time, showing age. I love crazing on old pieces. Now modern-day artists paint on the crazing 😉
Reed And Barton made gorgeous sterling silver and silver plate flatware, serving dishes, coffee and tea sets with pitchers, trays and sugar and cream containers, nut and candy dishes, candleholders, etc. They were very popular when I married in 1960. Love hand thrown pottery pieces as well!!
Hey girl, this past weekend I ventured to my Goodwill and I am so happy that I found the kind of pots I was looking for. One tall and one shallow, bonsai type. Great deals. And the best decision I made was to buy one of those water cylinders, my daughter says I am crazy but hey, now I just do one trip to the sink. Before I was carrying my little water container back and forth. Game changer!
Love all of your thrift finds! I also LOVE finding studio pottery that have been signed and dated. I won't buy them otherwise. :D Also, I think your little silver dish was originially for wine bottles, if I'm not mistaken...so wine would have a little place to sit on the dinner table. So cute, and great find! Perfect for a catch-all too. :)
My favorite thing to look for while thrifting are those handmade pieces with signatures on the bottom!! They're such a special find and I have a hard time leaving any behind 😅 You picked up some really lovely ones!
I really enjoyed this video! Super laid back and enjoyed seeing what you recently thrifted and your grow tent updates! Can’t wait for your shop to open!
Hey, you compost, right? Sounds weird but, I'd love to see your set up & hear about how you got it started! Thanks I needed this this morning... like you wouldn't know. Love you, love this community, thanks for being here, everyone. 😘💕
Always enjoy watching your videos. That one pot from the thrift store that had “716” that’s a Buffalo area code. So it might be by an artist here. I will have to do some research. Thanks 🤙🏽
Love old pottery pieces, and yes I’m one that looks at the bottom of them as well when thrifting, I try and imagine how old it is,the story behind the hands that made it. You restored my passion for old bits and bobs! Love this kind of format Harli. 💚🪴🌿 Natalie
My son loved the Freight Train book! Also, 10” clear pots? Where do you get those? I checked your Amazon store and Amazon in general and can’t find them.
Thanks, Harli! Great video! Was wondering about your Thai pink lipstick plant. Is it planted straight in terracotta or is the terracotta just a cover pot/cachepot? Also- can you describe the substrate it’s growing in? Mine is in original substrate from the nursery and needs a repot. Also, I have tried many times to root various aeschynanthus but have no luck. Curious how well your props grow.
Do you find that the grow tent is good about not letting any moisture out? I’ve been wanting to get one, but I’ve been worried about damaging the floor underneath and mold problems if there are any leaks.
How long does it take Pinguicula to size up? I’ve had a little baby ping.. about the size of a penny for maybe 6 months now and it’s pushing out new leaves and flowers but they’re all the same size ☹️ other than that it seems super happy.. I’m using distilled water and it’s getting bright light about 8 hours a day. Any help is great!! I want a big boy lol
I just purchased some pings and I’m studying up on their care while waiting for them to arrive. I was planning to do a bog but now idk. Do they not like the bog? Would you recommend potting them separately instead?
They like the bog, they are just outgrowing the lava rocks I have so I need to do something new. I’m gonna do a really cool 6ft long bog at some point bc I’ve really loved it
I gotta know what lights you use to get that sun stress on your plants, you got a vid on that? NONE of our thrift stores sell anything for under a dollar, the cheapest thing you can find starts at 2.99…effing rediculous, I used to love going thrifting, pots and shirts are 10$ plus now, there’s no cool finds anymore, they do their research and anything worth anything is jacked in price, 19$ 39$ etc thrifting my arse Your background just gave me an idea for a Chinese folding wall divider thingy into a pothos wall! Get a wicker one or one with holes to tie the pothos vines to! I hear anthuriums pop inflos when they’re not the healthiest to try to restart themselves? When that inflo matures put it in the freezer till you have pollen? Would it live?

Wow! I bet you have some cool pieces! Love hand made pottery! ❤
Omg you remind me of an actress and I can’t think of who!! Like identical and I’m mad I’m blanking on who lol. It’s a compliment don’t worry
I wouldn’t let them go either. lol
Never let those go. Keep them forever. 😊
Every time I watch your videos it gives me a new burst of plant love and inspiration!
I love hearing this thank you 🫶
My favorite type of video! Thank you for keeping me company in the middle of the night while I’m up with the baby. 😅

Thank u for sharing beautiful thrift finds
💚
Love seeing the writing on the bottom. Thanks for the relaxing video. You found some great vessels.
Love that dollar vessel you got. 😍 The blue swirl in it.

The aescynanthus Thai pink is one of my faves! I love it sooooo much!
Whatever happened to the bonsais you and your hubby started? :)
my mom in law is a potter so I am also obsessed with what is on the bottom of pottery! I always like to try to imagine the person and their story lol
Getting stuff done when the kids are asleep is so the thing.
Great finds!! Love the tour if the tent and look forward to seeing what cuties you have for sale 🌱💚
Your table ❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 love it
My kind of videos, thank you
I love all the begonias 😊
I always google the initials on handmade pottery from the thrift store! I want to know the story behind the artist too!
So excited to get a plant from you when you re open your shop! That Syngonium albo is my DREAM! I love how wild it is ❤
I would definitely buy a clipping of your Thai pink. You’ve made me want one ❤❤❤❤
I always love watching your videos.

I also go to goodwill and savers, but I never find anything as cute as yours. 😮
I would have just looped a nylon strap around the neck of the 2gal pump sprayer and wore it like a cross-body bag!!
I can't wait to get some of the Thai pink from you!! I have a plant shop myself so I need something that will produce new growth fast!🌿
thank you!
The 47 on the vase by Josh looked like a 97 to me... as in it was made in 1997 maybe ?
I have been wanting a Thai Pink and I’m excited to pick one up from you!
Would be so cool to rub paint over the crackled shallow white pot and wipe off, I think all the cracks would grab pigment.
Awesome
Beautiful
Nice!
My pump sprayer has a strap! I am so thankful 😅
Damn I need to get a strap for mine :P

Amazing
I definitely want one of those, I was planning to buy the Thai lipstick plant next month anyway.
What care tips do you have on the care of coffee plants, I need help with mines. Please help.
23:00 "Its just a little dramatic" JUST A LITTLE?!? SHE THE WHOLE DRAMA CLUB 😭
Harli have you ever done a staghorn fern mount? I have mine in a pot but was curious to see if mounting was difficult.
I really like your syngonium st @22:23. 😊
Do you find that the grow tent is good about not letting any moisture out? I’ve been wanting to get one, but I’ve been worried about damaging the floor underneath and mold problems if there are any leaks.
I love t variation
where’d you get your shelves from?
Do these need to be in a grow tent? Can they survive in a house in so cal?
To me i it looks like Josh might have made it in period 5 in 1997... Idk just my take on the carving 😊 now to get back and see whatcha got goin on 😉
Just curious--if you plant & water in pots without drainage won't that cause root rot?
How long does it take Pinguicula to size up? Love the hair!
Your fern/anthurium mix looks potentially like Anthurium microphyllum 😊
