My 2 cuddly cactus did nothing for two years but then this past summer they doubled in size! It was amazing since they did no growing previously. So don’t give up hope! 💚🌵
Just before I brought all my outdoor plants in I did a full pest treatment 1.5 mo ago for a mealy, spider mite and thrip infestation, treated my plants outside before I brought them in, a few days ago found another infestation of green aphids, whiteflies and more mealies… it takes me almost 3 days of constant treating, cleaning etc each time, I’m pooped… I dunno if I didn’t treat the outdoor plants well enough or they got in through the windows etc I really hope I’m good for the next few months, at least I caught it all in time I didn’t lose any, plus, with all the extra plant care I’ve done repotting etc I’m caught up! Cute fawn!!!!!! Congrats girl!! Try Keiki paste on bare stem nodes, it worked a miracle for my Hoya compacta vines. I wish we had systemic in Canada. I wash my pots in between plants in concerned about pests/eggs I can’t see
Agh, with all the pests plants get outside, sometimes I wonder if it's even worth it to put them out there! The whole process is such a bother... but of course, every summer, I end up doing it anyway, haha. Thank you!!! 💕🦌 I keep putting off getting the keiki paste, but it's on my list to try! I really do need to do it one of these days, lol.
Would you consider doing a video on over wintering your plants? I have a few cactus that I am always interested in how to do that. Happy Thursday! Love the long video and it inspired me to take care of some planty things.
I'd be open to it! I don't do anything super complicated, though--I honestly just put them in the basement bathroom where there's a tiny window, so they get a sliver of light, but it's much chillier down there in comparison to the rest of the house (probably about 60 degrees). My opuntia actually bloomed in the middle of winter last year under those conditions, which was fascinating, but they didn't grow at all other than that.
You talking about falling behind on everything literally describes my life perfectly! I can’t seem to get ahead with anything right now…I’m also struggling to keep up with my planty UA-cam channel 🤦♀️ It’s all swings and roundabouts…we’ll get there in the end 🤞love your videos, thanks for sharing!
When I think I want to get rid of a plant, I prop the whole plant haha. And then once I see all the little prop babies, I won't want to get rid of any of them 🤦♀
It was tricky to tell for sure but the white-yellow specks could be the start of Flower pot fungus. It's not harmful to the plant but usually pops up with lack of airflow and trappes moisture 🌞
I don't have a super tidy synopsis that I'm ready to share, but it's high fantasy with a romance subplot and pretty much exactly the type of book that I love to read :)
I love your style, especially the dresser, where the piano was, and all the makramee hanging plants in the window 🌞🌿🌞
I really appreciate that! I try 🥹
I have to admit that I really love your Spider plant 💚
thank you!! she has charm 🥹

☀ If only more of our lives were like arranging and rearranging plants - and all our plants were healthy. Thanks for the nice video.
Hope you had a nice walk 🌞🌤☀️

(I wonder is those “eggs” you saw in the soil could be root mealybugs?)
You’re writing a book??? What’s it about ??
