I’ve never seen such a fantastic thingymajig player
So many bangers on this album. I've been listening non-stop since it was released.
I haven't listened to any other music for two weeks...every single day.
It's on repeat and never ceases to inspire
Me, too!! It's been on repeat at work, home and in the car!! Can't get enough!! ;-)
@@David-iv6je We do need three of everything, especially if they’re playing with Snarky Puppy! 😝😜😁
@@David-iv6je I'm guessing you don't play drums??
1:18 i'd be crying in the presence of such musicality as well, girl.. go on and feel it
I've literally cried with joy for hours on end watching bands of all kinds, it really touches something deep inside.
I too cried when I saw them live in Munich on monday. So much, that I actually had to hold myself back because it hit me so hard my outburst of feelings would have been just weird at a concert. ;-)
@@loveistheonlything3626 it's the most amazing thing in this world for me to witness how music can translate into the deepest of emotions.
✨🙏✨
@the_lick, Her heart wept with the intensity, euphoric-audio ecstasy! Whoo whee❗
Larnell is such a character! Throwing his damn sticks at the end made me laugh, hahahaha
3rd solo was not a guitar?!?! my mind is blown. For sure one of my favorites of the album.
Check out "chonks" if you havent already. Its on snarkys previous record "Inmigrance" final solo will be familiar ;)
I was listening to this, not watching, while at work. When I heard the solo, I came back to see who ON GUITAR was playing it. It took a couple of replays to figure it out. 😅
You can never guess how a Snarky Puppy song will end😭
But at the end it could never have been any different
The greatest guitar solo was played on keys :)
It’s like everyone was doing their best impression of Jimi Hendrix and Bobby sparks won.
always has been
I was in the audience for this one! It was an absolutely stunning experience and this is one of my favorite songs on the new album! Since 2013 I've seen Snarky Puppy live 14 times and even with all those shows I STILL can't wait for the next time I see them live!
How’d you get tickets to see them record live?
@@MissNaturalMystery I follow them on all of their social media and they made an announcement for the sale of tickets. I bought my tickets the minute they went on sale!
It’s a really interesting vibe! Looks like everyone is hearing the mix on headphones 🤩 no one’s really grooving to hard in the audience but looked like an amazing performance to see
Damn I wish I could afford to see them even once
I got see them play this album live and it was the most amazing concert I have been to all my life.
That Bobby Sparks solo... INCREDIBLE! ♥
Easily one of the best electric guitar solos I've ever heard!
@@gustafsone Bobby Sparks plays keyboards
@@jerryblanton1294 exactly
@@gustafsone hahahah
My version of this comment is better, just saying.
Mean guitar solo by Bob Lanzetti!
Haaah, Larnell threw his sticks behind him at the end 😳😅 what a Legend 😂
I had no idea the last solo wasn't an actual guitar!!! That's why I love those videos & looking forward to the rest of them.
Same! I thought that bobby sparks’ solo was Mark Lettieri when I first heard it
@@b.maximebk lol it sounds nothing like mark lettieri
I thought it was a Bob Lanzetti solo from the audio only listen. Absolutely sick from Bobby Sparks.
Just look at all the joy in this room. Music is truly a gift from above.
Happy musicians like this still exist
me too
this is surely in my top 3 best in this album for sure
thanks for existing
Holy smokes!!! Bobby Sparks's solo is FIRE!!!
When that keyboard line comes in at 6:14, you know the song is going into a new gear.
Fantastic. Just carries the whole thing.
@@bobaganush i didn’t even know it was a keyboard solo until i watched the video lmao
@@literalantifaterrorist4673 To be fair, neither did I
Man, JT absolutely SENDS IT on the last few minutes of this tune. Soooooooooooo good!!!!
Hot damn, the keyboard arpeggios after 6 minutes, with the sax jumping in right before the killer keys solo, gives me goosebumps every time lol.
Such a wickedly deep pocket, plus they still manage to throw in beautiful soundscapes 5:56. SO GOOD
yes it sounds good
I'm curious. Where are those sounds coming from?
@@kafkaesque9470 the guy with prophet
Honestly I love the organ bits that Shaun plays after the song
Mark and Larnell just killed it ! And Bobby of course, what a solo !
Groove so big you can fit the state of Texas in it! Snarky Puppy slams!
The smiles exchanged between percussionists Keita Ogawa and Marcelo Woloski at 1:47 says it all 😎
Larnell got the real last drum hit at 8:24
I wanna know what that was!
The shuffle! During recordings, they played this song last of most of the days.
How can this many musicians playing sound this tight? Incredible!
What never ceases to amaze about this band is how much humility and respect is shown between each of the band members
Because they all know they are nothing but mediocre players.
Jeez, the Groove is deep in the pocket on this one. Definitely has that TOTO vibe! I can see Jeff & Mike Porcaro smiling from above.
This is what I call an "instant classic"
For me this is the peak quality of human music today...
I'd say it's second to Keep It In Your Mind.
Larnell's vibe on this project is so infectious.
All of our vibes on this project is infectious! Every single song was a “group” effort, as it Always is.

@@jasonthomas6486 If you don't mind, what snare and drum head are you using?
its like bobby sparks is pumping adrenaline into my ears shit's hype as fuck🔥🔥
7:50 best part!!! Michael's bass line
I'm quite jealous of the people sitting in the audience 😊But I also feel lucky to have seen them on Monday in Munich, it was a blast! I'm also happy they decided to return to these video-recordings, it definetly enhances the experience!
It was a great show in Munich!
Several of the band placed themselves next to the merchandising area for photos or autographs. I don't know if they always do that after concerts - but that was the icing on the cake!
It's nothing more than brutally shitty music plated in gold; I would be jealous too to have a couple of those ingots, they should donate them and find an honest job
@@joaluar I can think of 3 reasons for your post: 1. sarcasm, 2. clickbait, 3. real envy => which one would it be? 😉
@@alexdunnpiano We probably never should give people who display such behavior give any attention at all.
So YT drops an ad right in the middle of this song. Really? 😖
I love the way the tom drum fill at 5:53 foreshadows the melodic motif later Larnell is the most likely person to do something like this. The little details adds
Wow never noticed that before. Incredible.
This outfit has already established itself as the future of prog rock / jazz funk fusion and all that good stuff. Continuously impressed by them.
You do realize how long they've been around...right?
@@r.p.mcmurphy6623 yep.
Holy shit, what a band. These guys COOK.
Larnell is incredible
That Moog Boogieman got me so emotional! What a climax!
that fckn clavinet solo to go out!! jeez!! 👏🏾
I am so grateful for Snarky Puppy. You have genuinely improved my life and brought so much joy into it too.
Haha, I was fooled!! I was only listening to the video and not watching it as I was doing other things but when I heard something that caught my ear, I'd go back to the video and watch.
I'm a guitarist so when a guitar solo started, I'd check in to see who's playing. Bob....ok, then Mark...fine, then...WOW!? Is that really Chris McQueen now?! Nope....Bobby Sparks!! 😀
Empire Central has been pure insanity! Waiting for: Keep on your mind, Honiara, Pineapple ...
This needs way more views - the transitions are fantastic! Only recently discovered Snarky Puppy and thoroughly enjoying them!
Mark Lettieri is so Killer, so is this band as well....
This whole album is FIRE!!!!!!!
Saw them perform this in Cincinnati Saturday night. They nearly brought the house down it was so good. I can imagine it'll make a fantastic set-closer in the future.
I just discovered Snarky Puppy a few days ago (kind courtesy a friend), and I'm loving it! You guys made me fall in love with jazz.
This is not jazz. It's fancy rock and roll.
gawd ya'll went IN
Crazy how that clav can sound so much like an electric dude
From 7:00 it became the Bobby Sparks show😅😅😅
The guitar solo + drum solo from 5:00 is such a tight section of the song 🔥
Mark is in his form of his life!! Saw him 1 week ago, he was the only guitarist but nailed everthing!
While he's already the goat, if there's one thing Larnell Lewis can do, it's hold it down. That's for sure.
@@jonasmontag9229 In Vienna he played the solo on Lingus!
5:37 tears of joy and recognition , those guys are a gift to earth in those hard times.
Just saw them last night in San Antonio, they busted this baby out and it grooves so hard. Even now, you just can't beat a classic blues shuffle.
Haha...this is the best song on the album hands down!! And I'm not in the video...omg!! I so wanted to be in this one!! i'll have to get some humble pie and eat half of it...I was there on a night they played this song...you can't see me but I was there!
Have I mentioned that I was there and heard this live...different night, but I was there for this song...hands down....
The groove on this song is just filthy and I love it
Bobby’s solo is killing!!!
Larnell's stick toss at the end. 🤌
The spirit is in the room
this is so M.E.A.N.!
Completely epic! Love all the influences in this track. James Brown horns and bridge modulation, Steely Dan changes under second guitar solo, then a practically Dream Theatre'esque prog-rock shuffle on the outro with the completely outrageous keyboard solo. And dig the seamless handoffs between the 3 drummers!
No, no, not Dream Theatre, I mean, they don't even have this sound. I wouldn't compare them with DT.
No, I don't think so, I mean, DT is so damn boring to even compare them to Snarky Puppy. Boring and without feeliing.
Bobby Sparks' guitar solo is the best one in the entire album!
Im so happy I got to hear this live here in Mexico City! Please, come back soon, it was amazing
Estuvo increíble
I thought the instrument at the last part of this music guitar, till I watch this video, but… Surprising.
Texas shuffle for the win.
This album is the best that they’ve released honestly so many good songs on it basically every song on the album is on repeat for me
I cannot stop listening to this
I can’t wait tomorrow night. I have two tickets in my pocket for the concert in Budapest.
Lettieri don't miss
I love Bobby Sparks t-shirt ❤ "Musician: Someone who packs $5000 worth of gear into a car and drives 100 miles to make $50" 👏👏
Sean Martin tryin to get some church goin at the end! Nice!
League is a GENIUS. Wow.
WooooooooooW every tune just gets better and better. Such joy in the musicians is overwhelming. YIKES!!
Perfection.
And Snarky Puppy does it again!😅😮💨🙌🏾👏🏾💪🏾👍🏾🌪🚀🌩😎🔥
At the mention of good sounds of music, Joy is always present ❤
Love you guys❤❤
OML This is the best thing ever!!!!
First time I think I’ve heard a Snarky Puppy song in A. Tremendous
Bobby Sparks really came with the sparks on that solo! Wow!
Sure, and it made my head Bobbin'
Bass line at 4:49 is so good!
I wish Bobby Sparks solo would keep on going for another 10 minuter! That was absolutely groovin'
Estou a 3 horas preso nessa musica !!! Chorei horrores com esse final cara !!!!
Album has been on repeat since it released 🙌🔥
Can’t wait to see more performances
How do 3 drummers sound like there's only one????? Like seriously??
Extremely talented people😫
Waiting for Keep It On Your Mind live more than waiting for my birthday. Amazing...
This actually makes me cry from how beautiful this song is. Perfect in every way, as a pianist I can't say enough positive things about this album. Every detail and layer adds more and more to the song and eventually forms a masterpiece. Amazing work.
Made me cry too. It's some sorry shit.

I was thinking that this was too long to build the climax, and then the solo with Hohner towards the end, now that's something!
Been waiting for this one! That heavy ending is just breathtaking!
Guys, I'm just going to say it.
This track is has been one of my FAVOURITES off the new album. Prob has the most playback since the album dropped (along with East Bay, Fuel City...).
I don't know WHY. I never thought a Texas shuffle - FROM SNARKY PUPPY - would make it on my top 10 list...but this is a banger. CAN'T. HELP. IT.
とても魂揺さぶられました!!最高!!
At the end, I thought that was a guitar... Holy crap, the best of all the 3 solos...
I cried no joke
I love all the Albums, especially from "Sylva" behind, but This CD brings for me, the same "vibe" from "We like it here", "Ground UP" and " Tell your Friends" ... looks everybody is having fun while making great music. Said that... it is time to think about a new Family Dinner !!! LOL
My God, we've found it at last. America's happiest workplace, that is. 🙂 Look at 'em gittin' 'er done ..
My favorite tune from the album. All the solos are bananas and JT‘s Texas Shuffle is soooo tasty!
Everything Snarky Puppy dose gets a WOW from me. Incredible music.
What gets me is how cohesive this assemble is.
It's always a good day when there's a new Snarky music video. Can't wait to see y'all live this march!
this combo of brass mixed with the violin is quite an interesting sound and combo
Drums are absolutely killer on this one
