I've got some other tips from my own misadventures on UA-cam that I didn't hear you cover, so I hope this helps Somebody. Background audio should be about 15bd lower than the main audio if you want to have music under a voice over. Also many video editors can equalize audio across clips to avoid volume spikes. Second if you have a set intro and/or ending set up a save file in your video editor that has all of the video elements you are going to always use and then save a copy of that as your project. It saved me tons of time once I figured it out as I was teaching myself to edit videos. Finally thanks for this I wish I had a guide like this when I first started.

I started pretending I was talking to a friend who was sitting in front of me, or a small group of them. I like to imagine it's a pretty casual night while a TV is on and me and some friends are just talking about stuff around the couches. It's definitely weirdly eerie at first when you're essentially talking to yourself, but you get used to it.
Personally the way I got over social anxiety in this situation is literally just speaking my mind. The first things that come to my mind, I say. If it sounds stupid when I'm going back and editing, I cut. If you feel like you've fucked up a line too many times, just keep going until you get that "OH YEAH THAT WAS FUCKING PERFECT" moment. You can /always/ go back in Audacity and cut the parts you don't like. What I love about Mandalore is that he takes his videos seriously and doesn't pretend he is funny, but when he throws in the odd visual gag or make a joke it makes it 50x funnier because you're not expecting it but it's also genuinely funny because he wasn't trying too hard. I just might wanna add for the viewers. Lately, they always had felt some sort of remorse when they can't support UA-cam channels, artists, content creators or whatever when they can't afford skillshare, patreons, twitch subs, kofi, etc. You can always put some encouraging comments, comments that look forward for the content creator's future stuff. Or compliments of his or her content, positive stuff you like from the content but not too condescending. I myself felt very motivated when encouragements are given by followers, and drives myself to make more. Words are much more powerful, than just likes or views, or even revenue/money for an artist. Criticism drive the quality of an artist, but encouragement drive the effort of an artist. And for the content creators, if you're just starting out, reply to the comment or engage with the viewers/followers especially if there is just two or three comments. It goes a long way. Excellent content as always, Mandalore.

Never heard that saying before, but that saying spoke to me in multiple ways and I'm glad I heard it.
But how do we get a buttery smooth speaking voice like you?
Years of drinking crystal pepsi.
Audacity :-)
I know it's been a while since you posted this vid, but I just wanted to say, that the things you listed are precisely why I like to watch your videos. I think it's probably like that for a lot of your viewers, but you just feel like that anchor of professionalism on this platform. Probably best game reviews I've seen to date. Thank you for making these videos :>
Don't mind us. We're just here to hear your voice.
Edit: Fargoth Gang?
Thanks Mandalore this is really helpful. As a hobbyist game reviewer myself it's cool to see how you do it.
