I absolutely blame the monster who hurt this child & ultimately killed her. However once Helen had suspicions of him & continued leaving this sweet baby in his care, that is negligence in my opinion. I’m sure she regrets it every day because clearly she loved her but there is some willful ignorance of what was happening right under her nose. RIP baby girl. ❤

@Slim Dusty That's not what she said. Predators exist, there's no point trying to pretend they don't. That means that we, the primary caregivers need to protect.
As a parent, it is our first duty to protect our offspring from the dangerous world outside. That means being hypervigilant when it's comes to the safety and wellbeing of our children and taking action where our senses tell us there is danger.
Where a parent fails in this, then yes, they hold culpability alongside the murdering bastard who took a child's life and deserves no mercy.
Apparently common sense is not that common.

If lily was attacked 2 weeks before and had such awful injuries there’s no way the mother wouldn’t have noticed something was wrong with this poor girl. Fractured vertebrae?! She’d have been in agony.

Exactly my thoughts! I've fractured one vertebrae and it wasn't even that big a fracture, and I could barely breathe without pain, I couldn't lie down comfortably either and was in general just miserable and emotional, and I'm a fully grown adult ffs imagining the pain that tiny toddler must of been in is heartbreaking 💔 I would be beyond shocked if she wasn't acting differently in some way in that time! I'd expect her to be crying more, not her lively happy playful self, id also expect her to react badly to being picked up or lay on her back at say night time, I know kids can be tough but I find it hard to believe she didn't show signs of distress, poor little girl 😢

wait a minute…so she’s seeing all these injuries and putting 2n 2 together that homeboys interaction with lily was the only constant….so she stops leaving him access to her and the injuries stop so she deduces he is innocent in this? not, hey hes not been alone with her and the injuries stop so hes gotta be the one? i’m sorry, heart of gold or not, that’s fucking stupid and she’s complicit as far as i’m concerned …..

It's mindboggling how Helen could continue to leave Lilly in his care when Lilly was clearly scared of him and there was bruising after being left in his care. Clear negligence on Helen's part. As if there was no other person in this world other than him for babysitting services. Helen should have kicked him out of her life immediately once she had suspicions.

She knew what he was like, it’s stated she knew him from school, where he had form for assaulting other students, so she knew, she had a child by him, so knew him personally, there is no way she didn’t know what he was like. She is culpable no matter what she says or however lovely people say she is… she put this waste of space before a young child!

My little boy has severe haemophilia and before he was diagnosed he had really nasty mysterious bruising that we couldn't explain. The investigation by doctors and social services was one of the hardest things I've ever been through and it left me quite bitter. 6 years later I understand now that it was absolutely necessary and I feel fortunate that I live in an area where, at least in my experience, these things are being flagged. I haven't finished the video yet but as always, a respectful and compassionate retelling of this case, Emma x

It's really hard to understand how Helen missed Lily's suffering in her last few weeks. She had spinal injuries and trouble breathing. She had previously taken her for health tests and they ruled out a medical condition causing the bruising. The bruising occurred when tbat prick was around, and stopped when he wasn't. It's just not making sense. Same as the case last Sunday, where the mother absolutely failed her daughter and was made out to be blameless. Emma will you ever address these questions that i see many people asking about these two cases? I really like your vidoes but these points that have been raised do require answers.

What a tragic heartbreaking story. What i dont understand is.... With the horrendous injuries that the PM had discovered were 2 weeks old... - i struggle to believe that her mum Helen wasnt aware of the escalation from bruises to bleeding in the lung, severe body manipulations. For 2 weeks this beautiful baby suffered before she was fatally attacked by this bullying bastard 😢 How did this woman not know how much pain she was in? I would know in an INSTANT if it was my daughter.
The saddest thing of all is that when she first had 'inklings' that maybe he was doing something, she should have contacted the police for a background report on him. Maybe then little Lilly would have lived.
Thank you so much Emma for all your videos. The best on youtube by a mile! ❤

no doubt, I have no problem believing that. the guy was a violent thug since adolescence. and after this relationship had other Partners and was violent towards Them. -why would it have been any different in the relationship with her? not like he stopped being violent after adolescence, and then after they split up and parted ways, with the next Partner started to be violent again. I wouldn't say she has blood on her hands exactly but she's definitely either dumb or gullible or suffers from a mental illness that makes it impossible for her to oppose other people. regards.

Either way, he’d be unlikely to serve a lengthy sentence anyway. Our prisoners despise child murderers. Maybe the UK has gotten tougher about these predators? *ABSOLUTELY 100% PREMEDITATED!!!!!!* The Judge is a Moron! I wish ANYBODY that had to defend or sentence anyone that likes to harm Babies, Toddlers, Children, Women, Elderly, Animals..... I want them to *THINK OF ONE THING FOR ME* ..... *I WANT THEM TO ASK THEMSELVES* , *"What if that was my MOM? SISTER? DAUGHTER? SON? AUNT? ... For the ATTORNEY: Would you still defend them if it was your Mom? Sister? etc etc and For the JUDGE: Would you think the sentence you just handed down be good enough if it was your Mom? Sister? Grandma? Niece? etc etc .... Or are you willing to let the one that hurt your family member or friend slide by with a slap on the wrist and told "Don't do it again" ... SICKENING and DISGUSTING how that Judge can sleep at night! And the Defense Attorney as well. Sorry for the rant! It gets my blood boiling!

I've been so ill today and have been a little grumpy with my 5 year old. As I lay in bed feeling worn out and succumbing to my cold, she wrote me a note that read "I love you mum" and I felt so guilty because I had snapped at her.
The very fact that these people can inflict so much pain and suffering on children and not even feel an ounce of that guilt is utterly unfathomable.
I will never ever be able to understand how any person can hurt a defenseless and fragile child.
I am generally not a believer off capital punishment but in cases like this, my mind sways.

Im sorry but this has pissed me off no end! Helen was wary from the get go! I don’t AND lily was scared of that sick bastard! I don’t understand why she would trust him?! I would have waited a long while without him having any unsupervised contact with her and if her injuries stopped she would know it was him! She should feel bad for the rest of her life. I have a 13 month old and for one I would rather not even date than leave my daughter when she can’t talk with a man I’m with. For 2 if I did and she started getting injured I would be getting rid of him and I will be honest with him saying I’m excluding him to see if she still gets injured and if she doesn’t I’m sending the police round. And you best believe I’m gonna do Clare’s law. Helen if you ever read these comments I believe you didn’t let this happen but there’s no excuse in this day and age to have gave that scum bag the opportunities he had

If you really want to shed light on child killers as you have so often, then take a look into the case of Brianna Lopez. I watched her case on another you tube channel and got so angry about the case and the fact that the one person who should have protected her, her mother, is already out of prison. What happened to this infant and led to her death at 5 months old should have never happened. And everyone involved should have had life sentences without parole at the very least. The channel I watched this on was The disturbing truth. The episode was Three Monsters and a baby. These monsters should not be allowed to breathe the same as us. They should have been sentenced to death in my opinion.

This child's life from day one was nothing but pure torture. This child never had any love shown towards her and her life was so brief. The ones who tortured this child as well as those who stood by and didn't do anything to prevent it in my opinion are not and should not be considered humans. They truly are monsters

Oh my god!!! I just read her story and my heart actually hurts!!! Why on earth did they do that to her??? Its like they didn't consider her alive or a real person?!!! And the families behaviour afterwards, it makes no sense whatsoever!!!

I totally agree, I saw the same case and would like to hear more detail about the monsters who did it - not that anything in their lives excuses the horrendous crime they committed. The mother deserved death or life in prison. That poor baby knew nothing but pain RIP Brianna.
