In this episode of Bodybuilding Simplified, we will go over everything that you need to know about creatine! First of all, we will tackle the creatine dosage, and i will tell you if you should take the 5 grams of creatine per day that everyone recommends, or if you should take a completely different amount. Then we will compare the creatine loading phases. There are 2 types of loading phases that you can choose from: The slow loading phase, and the fast loading phase. Both of them are viable, but on my opinion, one of them reings supreme. Of course we cant forget about creatine timing, which has always been a heated point of discussion, so we will go over that as well. Then we will take a look at which type of creatine is the best. Is it creatine monohydrate, or is there a better one? After that, we will be debunking the thing that everyone fears, and it is the possibility of hair loss from using creatine. Lastly, we will go over water retention caused by creatine, and the importance of creatine for vegans and vegetarians.

Do you think the Santa Cruz Paleo is good?
im from.argentina and Ive seen creatine "micronizada" its way cheaper than monohidrate. Would you recomend it?
I don't know if this was an intentional gag or just a coincidence, but you saying "creatine won't make you bald, I've been taking it since I was 14" while your on-screen character is bald is really funny
Instructions unclear; I accidentally dry scooped 800g of creatine and i’ve been on the toilet for 2 weeks straight
should've have taken 799g, leave the 800g for the big bois
Don’t do this if instructions are not clear to you.
Nah man leave the toilet taco bell type bombing alone HOW TF ARE YOU STILL EVEN ALIVE
Omg 😂
@yuvrajchahal6191 it was a joke..

Bro you're right... I really don't remember what I've ate on dinner yesterday

Thanks you helped out so much with my fitness journey it’s very straight to the point and helpful!
thank you for this series winny💯💪‼️😤
i love your videos bro. it always makes me laugh and i even learn something new
Your content has been absolutely fantastic for me. I’m a chunky dude trying to get back into shape, and despite not really being a body builder your content’s simplicity and accessibility of valuable information has been invaluable to me.
I needed this video today❤
I just started creatine a week or so ago, I immediately felt a difference mentally, strength & recovery wise, and I didn't even know my brain was impacted until I read a study and realized I did in fact feel a little more clear headed. I went from 140 to 147-8 even 149 in a matter of days. DRINK WATER, I drink a 33 oz bottle twice a day, and then some. I should have started earlier. No bowel issues, but again this is how I feel and everyone is different.
Yea it makes you realize how much water we really need. It made me appreciate being hydrated so much more.
33oz is around a litre, so yeah that's a healthy amount of water for most men even if they don't work out
I already drink so much water that it drains out my electrolytes so that shouldn’t be a problem for me
@@lenoxpI I add coconut water to the water to assist with hydration
@@prototype9996 I love water 🤤🤤🤤🤤
i like the way he points at me when he talks and i feel personally addressed and i will meet my fitness goals
As always thanks ❤
Empecé a entrenar 6 veces por semana bastante duro. Venia viendo la opción de comprarme una prote + creatina y tu video me termino de convencer. Mucha gente la recomienda. Gracias por el contenido
I love all of your vids winny! Can you do one about overtraining? I think it's a common problem for beginners (including me). Keep up the good work! 😄👍
Always look forward to Saturday just for these videos 😂

Thankk yoouu Winnyyy
thanks winny 👍
You are amazing❤
trainer winny came in clutch , my mum wasnt letting me buy creatine cause she thought it was a drug this video helps a lot
ty
If anything whey is a "drug" since your body doesn't produce it. Your liver, kidneys, and pancreas naturally produce creatine
If its sold in general store, that cant be drug :D geez older ppl
@@Tonaldo90There’s literally an entire section of the store that’s filled with drugs
Tfw youtube recommendations can read your mind. Literally just thinking about a trainer winny's video on supplements.
Creatine stores as phosphocreatine which refills the 'P' that gets used when ATP (TriPhosphate) gets spent into ADT (DiPhosphate). Having the extra creatine available helps the ADP turn back into ATP quicker, for better performance
This concurs with what I've read - that it helps muscles regenerate faster. Although, I didn't know how it worked behind the scene.
Just came here to thanks you 👍🏻
Thanks
I started taking creatine the beginning of this month and I love it
Winny please do a tier list on types of diet like keto and so on for fat loss
Thanks for the hair part, this fear has stopped me from taking creatine since the beginning of my journey
I have a really full head of hair, my (bald) haircutter today just confirmed it (while being pissed at it), but I've used creatine for years and never lost 1 hair because of it.
I actually did, after taking creatine for roughly 6 months I saw a difference on my hairline started to receed.
I took creatine just fine when I was 32 and never saw any effects. Started again at 35-36 and I developed a legit bald spot on my crown. Just to be safe, I stopped using creatine, and at 40 my hair filled back in. Not full like when I was younger, but definitely no bald spot like I had 5 years ago.
Balding is mostly genetic like your height.
If you’re that worried, consult a doctor about Finasteride. It’s a wonder drug that works and the sides are overblown
Fin + Creatine = ++
NEW TRAINER WINNY VIDEO!!!
Any chance you can make a video on the best cable machine exercises? Thanks 🙏
TY :> got any lower back recommendations (for conditioning or body building)
i Swear to god i was searching for this video on your channel like 3 hours ago ahah
Thanks for reminding me to take my creatine
What brand do you recommend? I just bought creagon orange mango. Is this a good brand or should I avoid, thanks!
You posted this video as I was researching creatine use?? Bro how
Winny I have a question for you, I am a beginner and want to follow your beginner workout routine. I was wondering about applying progressive overload to the routines given in that video. You suggested either 8 reps or 10 reps for the exercises. Would a good progressive overload goal be 8-12 and 10-14? I am gona focus on my form first but want to start employing progressive overload once I get that down.
Nose como ni por que me salís en el feed pero me dan ganas de volver a entrenar
lo mejor que puedes hacer.
Really nice video and straight to the point. Love your content, it inspired me to start going to the gym and start losing weight.
Quick question, should you take creatine if you are trying to lose weight?
I think it's really a good thing to supplement creatine when you're cutting cause creatine helps you retain or fill up muscles to the full extent when trying to lose the body fat
yes, take it. it will help you at the gym or with whatever exercise you are doing, it increases energy and performance. it also has mental cognitive benefits. it will not make you retain weight at all (except a bit of water in the muscles which makes them look fuller and bigger a little bit.) there is no reason not to take it.
Your English has gotten better!
So what you’re saying 1:55 is that fast loading phase creatine will help counteract my high protein constipation 🤔
I've looked at the cheatsheet, which parts can I do together in one workout session?
Capsules versus the powder. Which one is more effective? Does it make a difference?
Do creatine gummies work? I’ve been hearing a lot about them and gotten a ton of mixed reviews
If im using propecia at the same time will that cancel out DHT from creatine?
When do we expect increasing our weights or changing our body if we start creatine recently?
You should have explained what creatine is and what it does at the beginning
im from.argentina and Ive creatine "micronizada" its way cheaper than monohidrate. Would you recomend it?
Do you think the Santa Cruz Paleo is good?
One quick addition its btter to take it with a carb source like rice potatoes or like fruit juice so it will absorb faster. :)
Why do i like this animations. 😂
I like this cartoon man, he makes a lot of sense.
Im new to body building. After taking creatine for the first time my next workout i was able to push my muscles past a point id normally fail. So i know it works. I just haven't felt it like that again since.
Placebo
@@mirrored_ yeah probably.
When you say small and big for the creatine weight, does that mean height or weight or a factor of both? Thanks and love your videos
Kind of both. I'm 1,87 m tall and somewhere between 95-100kg not that lean (18% BF). I take 9 grams of creatine right now. Hope It helped
@@senoryomismo6283we’re both the same height and I fall in that weight range. What made you pick 9g? Is there a calculator somewhere? Thanks
Overall size.
Hi, how to store the creatine properly? What I mean by "properly" is to avoid the creatine being lumped, transforming from poweder to small "stones"
Are preservatives good for our body ?? If consumed daily?
This might seem like a dumb question, but am i meant to also take creatine on days that I don't work out?
I don’t like how the quality improved on some of these poses
what constitutes bigger?
What about water consumption during taking creatine? How much water should I drink?
I find it funny how some people think Creatine is a "UnNaTuRaL sTeRoId" and you not natty if you take it. I mean thats bullshit bro, creatine can be found in red meats and stuff like that (just in smaller doses).
Your blood is too, and it's considered a PED to inject more of it before participating in competitive sports. See: Lance Armstrong.
I’m 13, 130 pounds been working out for about 1 year and 3/4 how much should I take
We need posture simplified
Can u make a video on skinny fat
2:44 i bet you i do
-2 grilled chicken wings
-a medium portion of rice
-half of an avocado (without the pit)
i heard that if i use to consume creatine, my body will stop producing it naturally and maybe if i decide to stop consuming i will have no creatine, it's like i will be forced to consume forever, what do you think about that? thx
A friend a while back said that drinking alcohol whilst taking creatine was really bad for you and can do some bad things for your body. I'd never heard of this before and cannot seem to find anything online regarding it. Does anyone have any knowledge or advice on this?
Been training naturally since 2012 only using whey and good food. Ofc had some breaks here and there because of exams at Uni and such. When I started someone who was more advanced than me back then told me Creatine could cause kidney stones and because of it I've always steered away from it. At 1m73 and ranging between 79-83kg I'm doing some pretty good lifts I would say. Bench: 130kg, deadlift: 225kg and squat: 160kg.
Now, is it true what that guy told me once? And should I consider it based on what I'm doing now?
Awesome channel, man, been subbed for over half a year now and you're pretty much the only fitness channel I still watch. Keep it up!
No it's not true, kidney stones are made of calcium compounds, creatine does not contain calcium so it can't make kidney stones. Creatine becomes creatine-phosphate in your blood, so if anything it helps prevent the formation of calcium-phosphate that leads to kidney stones (this is not medical advice). If you don't have a history of kidney stones in your family then don't worry about it. If you are feeling pain or are starting to piss blood then see a doctor immediately (this is medical advice).
Nope there is no risk Creatine causing kidney Stones. Monohydrat is the most studies Supplement in the world.
Im going to send this to my mom
Soooo what's considered "average"?
I've been taking 5mg of Creatine but I never seem to get that "one extra rep".
Should I kick it up to 7mg? Unless I'm a non-responder in which case, sad 25%.
Hi Trainer winny, i heard you hade a shoulder injury and you recovered. I also have a shoulder injury on my right shoulder. Can you give me tips to help recover because it's been a yeas since I hade it and it still hasn't healed so I would appreciate any tip you give me
have you talked to your physician about it?
Dead hang from a pullup bar for 3 minutes a day
2:43 i had spaggeti bolonegse
This might be a stupid question (Ik there are no stupid questions xD) but I am 188cm and 97kg should I be considered big? I am unfit and have quiet some belly fat!
This is the only video about creatine you will ever need.. oh.
But why would you need to do a loading phase? Ive heard you dont need that (probably from jeff nippard video but cant point my finger on it)
as someone with an ileostomy, I could slam 25g of creatine with 2 espressos first thing in the morning for an entire week to fast load without repercussions :)
I take my creatine early in the morning after waking up or lunch depending if i'm drinking coffee or not.
i struggle alot to not forget to take it 😂
i enjoy your accent a lot
I guess you could also find an in between method of consuming 10 or 15 grams over 2 weeks or so. Everyone can dial it to their body’s capabilities
Do I count as being on the smaller side I'm 6 foot and weigh 61kg
I am 6'2 and 90kg (200lbs)
Should I consume 5 6 or 7 grams?
After a 20g per day for 7 days loading period and another week of 5g per day my blood test came back for Kreatin-kináz (CK) as 450 where normally 171 U/l would be max that is considered normal. Unsure about the effects. Just wanted to put it out there as it was flagged. Also as a 98 kg person consuming around 200-210g of protein per day my Karbamid was flagges as 7.7 is above the normal 2.8-7.2 threshold and it is usually caused by consuming loads of protein.
Everbody is different. There's no take away here really. Just sharing.
I keep my creatine in my room so i see it every Day when i wake up. That Way i never forget it.
I'm facing hair fall after using creatine idk reason is it by my age which is growing or bcz of creatine
Question! Is it recommnended to take creatine every day or only on workout days? Also the supposed balding reaction never scared me-I lost my hair years ago 🤣
please someone say its ok to dry scope creatine.
Winny i need your advice! The real question is: how long can I take it? 3 months, 6 months? Do I need to take breaks from it?
im not an expert but there is no cycle needed. just take it everyday for as long as want. i've been taking it for about 3 years now.
I just want to do creatine because i did my first year of weight lifting without eating anything high protein and did not diet and then I’m going to do one cycle and do my second year actually trying.
at any moment do you explain the purpose and gains of taking creatine ?
to have water retention in the muscles ?
?
They increase force which means you can lift heavier which means more tension on the muscles.
Plenty of studies show creatine builds a bit more extra muscle in the long term
Does anyone know about creatine hcl?
