Bought a new 2019 C7 Corvette Grand Sport with a Manual Transmission, and it’s phenomenal! Buy one, life is short.
Good thinking, last year for a manual corvette. Also, the C7 is prettier than the C8.
The price tag on this c7 humiliates any european competition
Has to be the best bang for your buck car on the market right now here in the states. And its finally a gorgeous looking car, with a fantastic interior for the cost.

I'm pretty sure it's an LT1 engine in the new corvette. The LT4 is going into the ZO6.
Yup, my bad! LT1, of course. Odd that GM went with the LT1 designation when the old iron block V8s in the C4 were also LT1 (and later LT4).
Never fails, as the boss kicked the M3 ass around laguna secs, as the new stingray makes short work of overpriced euro sports machines that price themselves on the bloated euro and lacking in performance status...the euro fan boys have to come in with their mindless sewage commentary, to all of you....drown in your BS and weep as the stingray looks hotter and out performs and outclasses what you prefer..
Interior is badass, also reminds me of the last gen Supra how the whole dash and middle cluster is facing towards the driver.

looking forward to seeing the Z06 and ZR1 versions. One of my favorite engine sounds was the the C6 Z06 at full tilt, makes the hairs on my neck stand on end!
Its still gonna sound great but not like the old 7.0 liter in the ZO6. The new one has a much raspier tone it seems like

so a base jag f type is more expensive than this. this corvette is dirt cheap for its stats.

1: I think its the LT1 not LT4.
2: Corvette's have always had Latest Technology, just look up every new (new Gen) Corvette GM made, My old 86 Vette has Bosch ABS, Limited Slip, Bosch Fuel Injection, All the MPG instant and Average and Live, Independent Suspension ,Auto dimming Lights and the list goes on.

The #Porsche 911 only has 400 HP! So the #Corvette should be faster. But on the flip side, the Bavarian car will hold its value unlike the Vette
There are sportscars that are more powerful than a 911 and are still slower. The Corvette may have more power but the 911 is about 300lbs lighter, and the model they tested had a DSG if I recall correctly.
According to KBB the Corvette is #5 as far as car resale value out of all the cars sold here, the 911 isn't even in the top 10 so...
Maybe you're not in the US and it's a different story for you.

mak450 Actually, the 911 C4S I tested had the 7-speed manual gearbox (which I believe is the only other 7-speed manual on the market other than the C7).

The camaro is a big seller because of its looks. The challenger and vipers are nice looking cars too .Ferrari has taken alot of looks from previous corvettes and i doubt they were saying..." its american styling " or " Exotic styling " back then
I can't BELIEVE the same Chevy that builds the Vette is the same Chevy that did such a horrible job on the Malibu. Except for the awful Velocity Yellow, this car looks and sounds hellacious
The new Corvette is awesome, the looks as you would expect from a corvette, performance again as you would expect from a corvette but handling and comfort are much better than the C6. The people at Top Gear have just drooled over the vette and you can read the new magazine out now , which features all the best cars head to head driving over terrain suited for only the best...corvette comes out with amazing congratulations to Chevy. What makes the vette so cool is the price and the fact that its the base corvette. It's faster than a 911 and better brakes and handling than some super cars. The Z06 version is better again and can't wait for the monster ZR1 version!!!
I know it's technically a better car than the C6, but that fugly rear end is too much of a turn-off.

you just went full potato ...it has the best fuel economy for the power ....my Avenger R/T gets even less MPG while it has only 283 hp and it weights around the same maybe the Avenger is 100 pounds heavier

So ? It's better than an R35, many euro supercars or other Japanese performance vehicles. 0-60 Performance isn't everything you know? It's all about the joy of driving and for that there aren't any better cars right now than the C7 Corvette and the Jag F-Type. Most awesome supercars currently on sale. Ahmad says to much displacement and comments on fuel consumption....the American Corvette gets upwards of 30 mpg and smokes just about everything on the plant for less......go back to your video game in your mom`s basement.

Yes, it's called rev match option. It is also on the automatic's.
So you have to hit the paddle and downshift at the same time to rev-match?

Daniel Shrif Very comfortable (much more so than the C6), at least with the optional magnetic ride control dampers. I haven't tried the C7 without those dampers, but I assume it'd be a bit rougher riding without them.

Not at all! It is very uncomfortable and my friend that's 5.3 needs to put the seat all the way back.
I'm 6-ft tall and found the Z51 very comfy. Seats are mega adjustable, heated and cooled in the trim level we had. I could cruise all day in comfort mode without fatigue. Very little engine noise at highway speeds in 7th gear and excellent fuel economy. I'd drive cross-continent in this thing without a second thought.
Best review on the corvette yet.
