The Bon Jovi one is just a parody of the cover art of the 1959 Elvis Presley compilation _50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong: Elvis' Gold Records, Volume 2._ An extremely _ill-advised_ parody, admittedly.
The funny thing is that Elvis album cover has been parodied by multiple artists and I don’t think anyone has ever done it successfully while the original has been listed as one of the greatest album covers of all time. It’s all about the proper visual.

Funny thing about the Dokken album, their next studio album after that was called "Erase The Slate" - they were very much aware that trying to break into grunge was a bad idea even if they had someone less conniving than George Lynch.
I mean, good lord, the logo on Shadowlife isn't even the actual Dokken logo, it looks like someone tried to recreate the Dokken logo with a default system font and gave up after typing it out.

I feel like Viper is an artist in the same way the 8 year old me recording songs off my mums old stack system on cassette and then recording links between them made me a radio presenter.
But like with Wisaeu, like with Breen you have to ask yourself how much is he in on the joke? Especially given a bunch of vapourwave labels are now collabing with him.
The mascot's head on the Narita album cover reminds me way too much of that botched amateur restoration of a Spanish Catholic fresco from the early 2010s that made Christ look like a monkey.

HEY, CRASH! This was a great installment of "Bad Album Covers". I would like to extend "props" to you for showing an album cover from Pansy Division. I'm straight, but they're a great band. I first knew them through their tour dates with Green Day, Rancid, and your state heroes in The Ataris. "DOIN' THANGS!"
Say what you will, but Viper's Jpegmafia diss has stayed in the peripheral of my waking consciousness since 2019. He is also important in a strange way to the DIY nature of a lot of modern hip-hop. He's not quite as significant (or BASED) as Lil B, but still.
Y'know, the comparison to Lil B makes sense.
Especially since they both share a propensity for major creepazoid behavior.

You know that Bon Jovi album cover is bad, when their most popular album’s cover is literally a wet garbage bag and yet somehow it looks a million times more.....appealing for lack of a better term.

I feel the exact same way about the Jugulator cover. I was 12 years old when that album dropped, and seeing the full piece of artwork with said murder robot leaping out of the lava blew my friggin' mind. It was easily one of the coolest things I'd ever seen at the time. But man, seeing the cropped version the band had to use for the cover was disappointing as hell.
The full piece, though? Probably Priest's best album cover. Easily my favorite of the covers Mark Wilkinson did for the band.
Out of all things to expect, i was very surprised to see Juanes being mentioned. he's very popular in Colombia and Latin America in general. my mom owns a few Juanes CDs. but yeah, the cover for "Mi Sangre" ("My Blood" in English) is pretty corny, especially the tattoo sleeve. i used to think the tattoos were real when i was little LOL. Also, "La Camisa Negra" from that album is a banger.

What hurts about the Offspring cover is that the lead single has probably their worst verse ever. And the rest of song is atrocious too, tbh. The second song that I heard from them (sent via IR on an old Java Sony Erikson god I miss junior high school) was Spare Me The Details and I still like it so the bar is not all that high as far as my resilience for their less, erm, stellar stuff goes. There are bad times just around the corner, folks.
