@@truthteller2711 The phone in general, is taller than the previous generation. I really love how it works, though Apple AI isn’t available yet. It’s an improved version of the 15 Pro. And I like the camera sensor button.
Why are all the reviewers comparing it to the 15? I mean, I kinda get it, but most people like me upgrade every 3-4 years easy, so to say it hasn’t changed much is kind of off putting even though it has compared to what the average person uses…
@@doubletspodcastify I had a 15 up until now… so that’s what I compared it too… did I watch the end where I said that if you are upgrading from a older phone you’ll love the iPhone 16?
Love it! Well rounded and thought out video. As someone who upgraded from 14 Pro Max, there’s also lots to love about some of the new features. Excited about Apple Intelligence also in the future.
I'm in the process of doing the same. I'm tired of the massive phones and I think the 16 Pro will be 'just right'. Also looking forward to the 5X zoom and improved camera sensors. I don't care that they haven't changed the design much, the phone does what I want it to do and I'm glad for that as I don't gaze lovingly at it! LOL I use it for specific purposes. I'm still undecided as to AI though it will be nice to have Siri be a little more useful.
If I have the s21 should I go with the 15 pro 256 or 16 pro 256gb? Many ppl told me they had issues with their 15s so I'd rather pay a bit more and get the 16
At the moment I own the iPhone 15 pro, I am really confused this year if I change for the 16 pro… The battery upgrade I found it really nice, specially because IPhone 15 pro battery actually sucks! What do you think?
i think you can just charge your phone more often. i took a trip yesterday. left at 5:30am and returned at 12:30am. picked up some juice on the train for about 10 minutes and was no issue. will take the same trip with 16 pro and will likely not see any benefit. will miss the 3x if i end up upgrading 15pro to 16pro and i fucking hate the weight of the 16pro compared. 15pro is so light and if i have to bump my battery for 10 minutes on a long travel day (would have been fine in low power mode) that is not worth 1500$ upgrade. did i mention i HATE the added weight?
I don’t know your financial situation, but I think charging your phone for an additional few minutes a day is much cheaper and economical than purchasing an entirely new device
I have an iPhone 15 Pro and it lasts me the entire day. I'm not a photographer nor videographer though. I just go on social media, text, call, play some games when I'm free, listen to music, all the usual stuff. I have a power bank which I charge the phone with when it gets to 20% because I don't want it to go below 20% but that's when I'm on the way home most of the time. I don't know, it's really no big deal in my opinion just carry a small power bank. Way better than spending needlessly unless you're certain you need to and spending that money is no big deal to you.
I got my blue 15 pro max back in June. I love this phone and I don’t plan on upgrading til like at least 4 years from now. Congrats tho for anyone that got the 16.
I have an iPhone 15 Plus 128GB and I'm tempted to get the iPhone 16 Pro 256GB using a pretty sweet trade in deal. Would going from a base 15+ model to a 16 Pro model be massively noticeable?
That’s tough to say, without knowing what you use your phone for, how often you use it, etc. How do you think you will notice the additional camera and the refresh rate of the screen, as well as improved battery life
@@davey_gravy I go to a lot of music events throughout the year and I take a lot of videos. Plus I use my phone for watching streaming services and listening to music on a daily basis :)

In the video, Davey Gravy discusses his experience upgrading from the iPhone 15 Pro to the iPhone 16 Pro. He is a photographer and videographer who uses his phone extensively for work. Overall, he finds the upgrades to be incremental and not worth it for someone who upgraded from the iPhone 15 Pro last year. However, if you are coming from an older phone like iPhone 11, 12 or 13, you will likely be happy with the significant improvements. Here are some key points from the video: * The iPhone 16 Pro has a larger screen, brighter screen, stronger screen, and a better battery than previous models. * It also has a new camera control button, faster charging, USB-C port, higher base model storage, and the ability to use eSIM. * The video shooting capabilities have been improved with the ability to shoot in HDR and with better flash. * The new photographic styles allow you to customize filters on your photos. * The audio quality of the videos is improved with new microphones and what is assumed to be AI and noise cancellation. Some of the things Davey is not impressed with include the new camera control button which he finds awkwardly placed and not very useful. The larger sensor size on the ultra wide camera does not produce significantly better photos and he misses the 3x telephoto lens that is now replaced by a 5x lens. Finally, he is unsure about the new JPEG XL format which is supposed to be a smaller file size with no loss of quality.
If you have a device from the 12th series and below, you wont regret it. If you have 13-15 series, only if you really need a new phone should you upgrade (wrt to pro model -> pro). If you have a base 13 or 14, it's a good upgrade, plus future proofing. If you have 15 series and want to upgrade, you're plain stupid or irresponsible or impatient, or all 3
