  • In this video you will learn how to do a full 360 degree design on a Jds 32 oz sports bottle. I start by discussing the the critical items you need to pay attention to. I create a simple shape and turn it into a beautiful design. This video is step by step follow it closely and you too can do this! Make sure your steps pre rotation are adjusted so you can make one full revolution . This is a fun project and can be quite profitable. Enjoy

    So I come on your page every time I need to refresh my brain. I came to try and find the video on how to do the math to space images on opposite sides of a tumbler. I’m forgetting a step. Then I start watching this, and learned about project notes. Once I finally find how to do the math I’ll put it on a project note for my template. So today I’m not only learning a wrap in between finding the video with the math, but I also learned about project notes. Winning!

    There is a new node edit command, "M" for middle. Hovering over a segment and pressing M inserts a node mid-way between the segment nodes. Much quicker than using the "bullseye" to find the middle and using I to insert a node.

    Liked even before I watched! I have been stalking your channel since I saw a post that you were working on this video. It sure did not disappoint! What does disappoint is that I don't have a PiBurn. Also, I do not have a laser that can do tumblers! I have one on order, so I can begin creating some designs for when it arrives! Now to order a PiBurn - 3 or 4 is the question. It's 4, right?

    Hey Robert. Another great video. I'd like to ask how you got your arrow pointer to be yellow and large? I recently had eye surgery and having a larger arrow pointer in Lightburn would help significantly. I have been able to adjust it in Windows, but that's a global change and affects every program. Is there a setting in Lightburn? Thanks!

    Thank you for your great videos. I do have a question about laser engraving tumblers though. A few days after I engrave a tumbler the stainless steel tends to tarnish somewhat. Is that because I am using incorrect power and speed on my laser or simply before I purchase cheap bottles? ..thanks JB

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  2 роки тому +1

      more than likely they are not stainless steel, cheap tumbler that aren’t made to be engraved will do that. stay with a better quality brand made for engraving. Jds industries is my goto company for tumblers.

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  Рік тому

      I know the 30 oz is easier to do than the 40. some people angle the tumbler so the top and bottom have the same focus then the middle will be closer. I’m not familiar with Mira lasers so I don’t know if you can change the lenses some people use the 1.5” or 4” lenses to do this because these lenses provide more focus distance. good luck on the quest

    We are just about at our wit's end with the full wrap. Would anyone seeing this happen to have a solution, or possible reason as to why we would do a full wrap test on painter's tape and have our full wrap match up perfectly, but when we remove the tape and perform the full engrave on the bottle, the pattern is 3/8" short? We are using a rotoboss jr.

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  6 місяців тому +1

      3/8” short is a ton. are your sure you don’t have the tumbler pinched between the rotary. I leave 1/8” between the bottom of the rotary and the tumbler.
