I like the implementation that all cops are on the high tables payroll. It definitely helps with the suspension of disbelief in later scenes and movies why there isn't much police interaction with shootouts in very public places
It's funny when you realize Shadow is often times depicted wielding a pistol (if and when he's using guns), and Keanu once said that in John Wick movies he's all about the pistol. He can make up his own stuff and moves on the fly.
16:33 The scene with the two assassins in training is amazing. They don't kill him when they had the chance, and he doesn't kill them when he wins as a payback with the schooling as experience for them. Double sided respect in this one despite them pretty much mocking him at the start.

Scene at 1:40 is one of my personal favorites. Sure it isn’t a badass gun wielding bloodbath, but it shows how much weight John carries, both in and out of criminal circles. Plus the humor is a nice change of pace. “Night Jimmy” always makes me crack a smile.
funny part is something tells me Jimmy knows, the minute he saw the dead assassin behind Wick he knew that likely there were other dead assassins, and just like thought." they picked the wrong guy to try and kill". lol
0:56 One of my favorite moments of these scenes for the simple fact that it establishes right off the bat (this is the first fight we see John in) that his enemies are already extremely competent, trained hitmen. Look at how intelligently that man was defending himself.
It’s great they establish that without saying a word, the enemies are good, not just any dumb jobber goon to make the MC look good, it’s just that John is THAT good he beats them relatively easily
The scariest thing about John Wick is that he's this skilled 5 years into retirement and he's supposed to be in his mid 60s, could you imagine how ridiculously skilled he must've been in his physical prime?
4:50 You know something I just noticed is that when John Wick is shooting at Iosef, he misses completely while not being shot at, but immediately after he two-taps someone effortlessly while taking fire. I think John Wick intentionally misses his shots at Iosef so he truly understands fear before he kills him, since anything else wouldn't teach a lesson
I saw from a video that perhaps John DID missed on purpose, but to guide him to where John wanted him to go. He would have to chase him, either way, so might as may make him go where he wants him to go. But also there was also a bit of wishing to make him feel fear and regret before he puts a hole on his head.
I just love Jimmy... Doing his duty to see neighborhood noise complaints and all. And the walking into that and still maintaining his cool and doing just the thing that he was supposed to... Stop the noise. Wick made a hell of a showdown to keep the noise down too.

Who's the target? John Wick...nah." And I think when Jimmy took his hat off he was telling John he wasn't a cop at that moment, he was either a friend or an informant for the High Table and that is why he asked if he was working again.
I like to think he was an informant. Considering that John was the only man aside from Cain to ever walk away from the criminal underworld and the hightable, someone that dangerous would need to have an eye kept on them. The only reason they didn't just pull him right back into the life he left is because even high table members have to honor markers, else they would have kept him in the criminal underworld. He was the most deadly and effecient assassin working under the high table, so they'd want to keep tabs on a man that lethal, even if he's retired.

cobra kai s1 reference lol. man of culture
@@xiaoliu4617 Cobra Kai is basically the PG-13 Karate version of John Wick. Johnny Lawrence and John Kreese both come out of retirement to kick some names and take some butt!
@@patrickspencer6550 hahahahahaha thats one way to look at it
4:23 i didn't know gigachad had a cameo in this movie
That throwing knife fight scene was the best thing I have ever seen
14:21 i really like this scene from 14:21 until the fights end,it was both funny and cool fighting scene
A Beagle and a Mustang is definitely worth all of this tbh
Especially a 69 Boss 429 Mach One. You know how rare and expensive that car is if the numbers match?
I love John wick 💜
RUN THEON! RUN! Also anyone else notice Wick hitting that Angle Slam or is it just me??? 18:45
his most badass moments by far have to be the ones where he isn't even on screen.
every time someone talked about his story
I get that this is a world of assassins, and money will go a long way. But John Wick is legend! Even if I knew I was good, I would probably be like " Seven million?! Good lord that's a lot of money! Who's the target? John Wick...nah."
And I think when Jimmy took his hat off he was telling John he wasn't a cop at that moment, he was either a friend or an informant for the High Table and that is why he asked if he was working again.
Jimmy and John’s talk at the door after the “noise complaint” will NEVER get old.
Forget the Terminator I want John Wick as my bodyguard
Of all the John Wick movies this is still my favorite one Even though they all are excellent
Love you , Keanu Reeves and John wick ❤🎉🎬
Love the steady stream of bad guys that show up just as soon as he's finished ko'ing somebody.
You missed the super cool moment.
"40 million dollars is a lot of money, John"
"Not if you can't spend it"
It was $14 million.
Jimmy: Sees dead body in John Wick's house
Jimmy: "...Goodnight John"
Smartest chartecter in a movie ever.
"Just sorting some stuff out". I can relate.:)
The best scene is when they just start throwing knives at each other in desperation 😂
Can’t wait to see Shadow Wick in Sonic the Hedgehog 3
That... F***N Nobody... Was John Wick...
Keanu Reeves killed it as Baba Yaga.
16:42 Parenting in Indonesia confirmed
The lesson we have to learn from John Wick is, "Never steal and never kill!"
This, so far, is the best of the series to me.
the way Keanu says "goodnight Jimmy" 😺
“Do I look civilized to you?”❤
Forgot how good the knife display hallway fight was
4:16 can we appreciate how cold that moment is with I’m nmakeing eye contact
Great movie 🔥❤️🔥
It's been with a heartfelt gratitude I wanna say thank you for your kind words.
best actor - and based too
@1:57 Nicest police officer ever.
The two guys at the end “we’re done? Yeah we’re done.”
9:47 - 10:03 Most Deadly Weapon Ever
John Wick with the Angle Slam!
