I think he really underestimated when he said “some minor armor improvements when you were gone” *Lightweight juggernauts enter the Continental and tank all those supposed 9mm AP rounds* Should’ve took maybe 5.56 or 7.62 at that point, but the 12 Gauge was a nice touch. A weapons expert explained the reason behind the 12 Steel Slugs and saying it might be the mass crashing into the armor and deforming it, but not penning it hence the weird blood moments.

Their lethal max range was about six feet, but only because they used a 50 cal rifle and they had to do some calculations on the angle with the water temperature and movement of the water to get the absolute max. But yeah, pistol has nowhere near that.

They also tested it with the guns fully submerged, and found that semi-automatics are prone to jamming (or failing to eject, same difference) under those conditions. Then SmarterEveryDay tested it as well with the guns already fully submerged, and got high speed footage of it, and found basically the range you see here.

I do assume its because of the death of Lance Reddick (his actor, may he rest in peace). I mean I don't think theres any official info about that but yeah, he was a great character AND actor, but without the actor its a lot easier to put an end to the character. Considering he was suffering from a few diseases, he most likely had infos that his time was likely coming, so it was just a wise choice for them to put an end to the character (as much as I also dont like the way they did it, very cheap)

I smile at Winston`s expressions when he sits in the vault and looking at Wick and Charon going off to fight..Like a proud papa watching his boys defend him.

It's supposed to hang out. I don't remember the specific name for it but competitive shooters use it. It's so that you can put a shell into the shotgun as quick as possible. Same concept as moonclips for revolvers.

How it works is when you shoot your last shell instead of tryna load from the caddy you swipe your hand against it into the open bolt then slightly grip down to press the bolt release giving you one more shot and maybe SAVING your match if you need one shot

The police and high table are in cahoots, I believe the deal is that the high table will try to keep it’s internal stuff contained to its sphere of interest, and in exchange the police let them be.
Always find the shotgun loading scene in the vault interesting. Charon's loading style compared to Wick's is cool, representative of their differences.

Fantastic conclusion to the trilogy of John Wick. Do not even mention that cartoon - that long video game called Chapter 4. All of the world building destroyed in the opening minutes. Not a peep about Winston having shot Wick off of the rooftop. The Bowery King somehow no longer "PO'd" but basically a butler. Charon killed like a dog. Just a lot of action sequences with John "Wick E. Coyote" bouncing off of floors, walls, cars - and tumbling down miles of stairs.
I regret being a guts and black powder player in Roblox, great now I see those enemy soldiers as special unit shamblers with m16 rifles combined with the vardou fortress theme😭
I don't remember if he still owned the hotel of the continental at that time. But helping john wick is pretty much a death sentence because he's ex communicado. He actually did amazing by staying undercover acting like he's still under the high table, while in reality helping john wick get to his borderline impossible freedom (the JW4 scene where he shoots him off the roof by purposefully shooting his ballistic suit just explains it, which is a plot hole both by the huge fall and the judicator not catching up to that, but it does scream how much he does his best to cover his tracks)

Beyond that, with that sort of an armory, going for a 12 gauge when you know you're dealing with body armor is still silly. Seems to me that if you had the foresight to get "armor piercing" shotgun shells you might also pick up a few rifles and armor piercing rounds for them.
@@siggyincr7447 unlikely because pistol rounds being a small caliber would shatter on impact. As for why they only took the shotgun i think because bringing another large weapon + ammo would weigh them down, besides theres only so much ammo they can carry without a tactical vest.

The John Wick Universe had so much potential but instead of fleshing out all the main characters using The Continental Series we're stuck getting some feminist bs in the Ballerina. 😢
We have 4 John Wick movies and a 4 episode season of the continental, which was 8 hours in total. Ballerina is good change up. The main characters have had plenty of time to be fleshed out, and unfortunately, Keenu might not do another John Wick since his knees can't hold up anymore.

Attackers have body armor and you ignore the rifle slung across your chest and get "armor piercing" 12 gauge slugs? Who wrote this?
That rifle is chambered in a pistol round you dunce look at the magazine that’s not a full sized 556 or 308 it’s literally half the normal size
Tha Rifle wasn't using Rifle ammo but pistol ammo hence why it didn't have the firepower 2:27
