A weapons expert explained the reason behind the 12 Steel Slugs and saying it might be the mass crashing into the armor and deforming it, but not penning it hence the weird blood moments.

No it didn't. Winston had more than one 5.56/7.62 caliber tactical rifle on the shelves on either side of the entry door. They would have never needed the shotguns had they chose a strong enough caliber weapon to begin with. 9mm: 1100-1200 fps, rounded tip. 5.52: 2900-3000fps, pointed tip. Even bigger and faster for the 7.62.
Yeah, when you've been told ahead of time that the enemy is going to be well armored... You *do not* pick two 9mm weapons to go after them. You pick a proper rifle.

Love the underwater physics when the bullets lost momentum shooting towards John Wick. I don’t know if that’s how guns really work underwater, but it has me convinced.

Their lethal max range was about six feet, but only because they used a 50 cal rifle and they had to do some calculations on the angle with the water temperature and movement of the water to get the absolute max. But yeah, pistol has nowhere near that.

They also tested it with the guns fully submerged, and found that semi-automatics are prone to jamming (or failing to eject, same difference) under those conditions. Then SmarterEveryDay tested it as well with the guns already fully submerged, and got high speed footage of it, and found basically the range you see here.

Really speaks to both characters - Charon's quick thinking and John's ability to be a team player when the situation calls for it. That mutual respect between two professionals is what makes moments like this so great.

I do assume its because of the death of Lance Reddick (his actor, may he rest in peace). I mean I don't think theres any official info about that but yeah, he was a great character AND actor, but without the actor its a lot easier to put an end to the character. Considering he was suffering from a few diseases, he most likely had infos that his time was likely coming, so it was just a wise choice for them to put an end to the character (as much as I also dont like the way they did it, very cheap)

Always find the shotgun loading scene in the vault interesting. Charon's loading style compared to Wick's is cool, representative of their differences.

It's supposed to hang out. I don't remember the specific name for it but competitive shooters use it. It's so that you can put a shell into the shotgun as quick as possible. Same concept as moonclips for revolvers.

How it works is when you shoot your last shell instead of tryna load from the caddy you swipe your hand against it into the open bolt then slightly grip down to press the bolt release giving you one more shot and maybe SAVING your match if you need one shot

Love that the regular bullets still put the goons on the floor, one of the best depictions of body armor in movies. Like yeah, you're gonna be protected from being being penetrated by the bullet, but you still got shot and that's gonna hurt like a B and kick like a mule. Also, wearing body armor against John Wick doesn't seem smart. It means he has to get creative to kill you, I think I'd rather go down to a single clean headshot.

Two things, flashlights make smoke bombs pointless. The bright light scatting from the smoke will actually make it harder to see things while at the same time paining a giant bullseye on yourself. Second, claymores, triggered by lasers in the non visible spectrum, 90% IR 10% UV the latter to get the people using night vision goggles thinking they are smarty pants. I don’t care how tough or skilled you are, a building boobytrapped with concealed claymores is fucking terrifying.

Two things, flashlights make smoke bombs pointless. The bright light scatting from the smoke will actually make it harder to see things while at the same time paining a giant bullseye on yourself. Second, claymores, triggered by lasers in the non visible spectrum, 90% IR 10% UV the latter to get the people using night vision goggles thinking they are smarty pants. I don’t care how tough or skilled you are, a building boobytrapped with concealed claymores is fucking terrifying.

O diretor disse que talvez Winston seria sogro, mas eu acho que ele pode ser o pai dele, ou o tio.... Por causa de John ser parecido com Frankie.

1- O roubo do carro no primeiro filme e de John se preocupar tanto com isso. Isso porque na série do Continental Winston pede um carro semelhante ao carro roubado para o Charlie, que diz que o carro tem que estar preservado, senão Winston se lascaria. Curiosamente um carro semelhante John Wick também gostava, até ser roubado por Yosef.
2- Winston sempre tratou ele de um jeito paternal e amigável demais.
3- Quando Santino chamou ele de Jonathan ele o matou, mas quando Winston o chamou de Jonathan ele não fez nada, portanto, Winston é o único que pode chamar ele de Jonathan sem ser morto.
4- Por que Winston se preocupou com a vida de John Wick a dar para ele 1 hora extra para fugir, colocando em risco o continental então? Pois é né.
5- No 4⁰ filme ele apostou a sua vida para o duelo de John Wick e Caine, apostando em John Wick, já que, se John perdesse o duelo, Winston seria morto. Mas que diabos uma pessoa coloca a sua própria vida em risco por um homem assassino que descumpriu as regras do continental?
6- Quando Winston vai no túmulo ele tem a tatuagem da Ruska Roma, na série Winston não tem essa tatuagem, isso porque ele era jovem e a série mostra como ele se tornou o gerente do hotel, mas não mostrou outras coisas e John Wick nem era nascido naquela época.
7- Ele diz no túmulo: "Adeus meu filho!"
E uma coisa que ninguém notou eu acho é que na última cena quando Winston e King estão indo embora tem um homem do lado do carro... É só ampliar a imagem.
Pistas sobre Frankie ser o pai de John Wick!
1- A aparência física é quase a mesma, tanto o cabelo quanto a barba.
2- As habilidades de assassino profissional. Na série Frankie demostra uma habilidade fora do normal.
3- O mesmo comportamento imprevisível, já que no fim do segundo filme quando John Wick mata o Santino ele não pensou nas consequências na hora do ato, portanto, um comportamento imprevisível.
Provas de Winston ser o sogro dele:
1- O próprio diretor considerou que talvez Winston seja o sogro, mas aí seria sem graça, pois nos filmes e na série mostra que talvez Winston ou mesmo o Frankie sejam o pai dele e nos filmes ou série nada indica que Hellen era filha dele.... Se Hellen era.... Por que diabos ela virou fotógrafa? Se ela era filha dele então ela foi assassinada com polônio, e pra quem não sabe, ela teve câncer, e a substância do polônio também causa câncer.
