I literally just got mine today. Took longer to open the box and remove the contents than to blind assemble. I searched this video in case I missed something(surprise, I didn’t) Apparently some people are taking longer than 10 minutes to put it together, which is fine, but don’t blame the company when the process is incredibly straight forward and fully automated lol
I just got mine yesterday. I have carpet and floor I believe this is a better vacuum for people who have the majority of bare floors. The battery life isn't great given that I have carpet in all my rooms and living room. I'm sad it didn't work out for me because i love Shark i have multiple items and I have the Shark Lift vacuum (purple) for 7 yrs now! i also have an air purifier the robot and flex style all great!!

I got mine today from canadian tire it didn’t turn on so i assumed that the battery is dead when i put it to charge the battery icon flickered red/orange then it disappeared idk if i need to let it charge or if this one is just broken

I purchased this version few days ago and the little fin cup (next to the intake nuzzle on the left hand side 1:07 ) inside the dust bin has built up the dirt particles inside it and became a dust ball lol. And I can’t remove it cuz that fin cup attached to the dust bin itself…. Why would you guys design this fin that will eventually collect dust and unable to clean :/

Hello! We do have 2 different versions of the Shark Detect Pro vacuum. We have one that has an auto-empty base and one that does not. You can see the difference between them by going to spr.ly/6056RKLGa.
I am going to assume you purchased model# iw1111. For the auto emptying dock you need model# iw3511. They are the exact same vacuum with the difference being one comes with the auto emptying and one does not. I apologize if I am wrong but it sounds like this is the case.

The lights on this product is a big disappointment. I used to own a shark cordless 5 years ago and the lights worked great. On this model they just illuminate but doesn't help you see the dust at all.
Ok, so wait, I need to be a rocket scientist in order to use this product? I bought it yesterday, took me 4 hours to assemble and I'm still trying to figure out how I empt the debris. I am going back to my cannister vacuum. Plug it in and it does the job
Hey, Anne-Marie! We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with your dock! Place the vacuum on the dock in a downward motion like you're sliding it into the dock. Once properly attached, the auto evacuation process will begin. The evacuation cycle will last for 15 seconds.

That's definitely a design flaw and looks really bad. 😒

Hey, Madeline! The unit comes with one cartridge, to get more they'd have to be purchased.
How long does the vacuum run on auto before you need a recharge. If you say you need to charge at 30pct then i take it it is not efficient at 30pct?
Hi there! While using Auto mode the runtime can vary due to the DirtDetect.
@SharkHome Thank you I am so much wiser🙂

The clip attachment thing that hooks onto the round neck of the vacuum… what hooks onto it??? We can’t seem to figure out what it’s for
Hello, Devin! We are not able to make out what part you are referring to. Can you please provide us with more information to answer your inquiry?
You don't need that if you have the "auto emptying stand". If you dont have the stand, the main handheld piece rests on that clip

How long it takes to get fully charged?
That is a great question, juliaxavierteixeira. From empty to a full charge can take 5 hours.

@RFS5530 certain models don't contain the dock. We'd be happy to check for you. Can you please DM us your model number?
