Scooter, can you comment on a steep approach vs. a shallow approach? I think the steep approach should give more accuracy, but involves a higher sink rate and requires a more robust roundout and flare.
That will be covered in the next video. The first step is really learning how to land on a spot during any approach. Steep vs. shallow approaches are a polarizing topic and will be covered. I have my favorite. Stay tuned nd Thanks for watching.!
I really like what you said. Aim big miss big aim small miss small. That’s so true
That came from one of my prior instructors. It's really stuck with me. Have you had any advice from an old instructor that's stuck with you?
Ahha... that's the right tshirt for short landings 😉
That's a great fly in. Though I sure watched a lot of people there not land very short.
That animated Cub needs to be orange ;0)
You and PJ with the orange.

You guys still active up north? What’s the best way to get hold of you? Looks like the FB page hasn’t been updated in a while. Thanks!
The Facebook page is active, that's the best way.
New Taylorcraft owner. Anyone interested in a get together at 50D? (Crystal Falls, MI)
We have a couple trips to the UP every year. It's a day for us to get up there.
