Why hadn't I watched this until today?? 😮 Omfg, what a great performance by them all, but what surprised me the most is Chris hitting kind of easily very high notes in 1995, after his vocal problems
Great stuff! Thanks for uploading! I was there. Soundgarden at their absolute best (IMO). Lots of memories. -Kyuss and Blind Melon were also awesome that day.
Cornell never sounded better then he did on this tour. They didn't for year specifically dud not tour for a whole year so Chris could rest his voice after overworking it in 94. Their touring schedule for 94 was insane. This tour in 95 was actually supposed to happen in 94 but Cornell was ordered to a bowl from touring as he had severely stained his vocal cords in August 94 on rhe final sketch or the North American tour. Having that year off to rest made all difference. Cornell sounds full and powerful from the top of his range to the bottom. There is a fullness and richness to his voice that he would never have again. When they resumed touring in June fo 96 his voice was not as full and fhe highs had lost depth and sustain and he sounded like he was pushing alot harder to hit the notes. 96 was apparently the year his drug and alcohol abuse accelerated into full blown addiction . So Likely in between the end of this tour and the start of the the 96 touring cycle he was not taking care of himself or his voice you can hear his voice get progressively more damaged as 96 progresses. With the exception of Sacramento the December 96 shows are painful vocally. This tour in 95 is the last stand of Cornell in full range. And i think it's his best tour. With the exception of the 2010 show at Shobox and the 2011 summer tour I thought his voice was awful during soundgagden 2.0 Better then Audioslave by also and he got back alof of high range but his high range was dry hollow and very flat sounding and there was no depth to it he sounded very mechanical form 2012 onwards. During 88 to 95 he was one a the greatest vocalists if all time .

Thx Helsinki, with all that bootleged material they should make DVD called "Soundgarden Ripuli live in Europe". There are tons of bootleged material from the europe tour. I missed the 95 show in Munich by one day. Soundgarden forever. And Kim is a super mixture of Hendrix and Zappa.
I’ve watched a few shows from this 1995 tour and I think the Reading Festival is the only one in which I Want You (She’s So Heavy) really works. Every other time they play it, it descends into chaos too quickly, as I think is the case here.
Just wondering what goes on Chris' and Kim's minds watching the crowd happily clapping away on time to each of their painstaking chords and verses of their songs. Ohhh, the bliss of ignorance .
hi/moi! Kiitos kun latasit / thanks for uploading! Harvemmin näitä stadissa kuvattuja tulee vastaan tältä ajalta. WAU! Onko tietoa videoitiinko Blind Melon myös?
Killer show. But just like every other live version of hands all over it just does not fall into the right groove. It aways sounds a bit stiff and does not ever have the swing of the studio version. The studio version has a slower sludgy groove with Camerion just slightly behind the bead with gives it a little more swing. He always seems to play right on the beat like. Cornell sounds amazing on this Version though.
Chris is in top vocal form here! Mahtavaa!!
Kim Thayils leads were just so pure and bad ass. Super underrated guitarist!
He's superunknown

That performance of Head Down was so tight. Chris demolishing the Jazzmaster hurt a bit though :,)
😂
Holy shhhhhh!!!! This video capture Chris’s voice in a really good shape!!! Love it!!

Awesome new Soundgarden footage! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
This actually used to circulate pretty widely but then it disappeared off the internet for several years.
Superunknown/Down on the Upside era Chris was different too bad there isn’t a lot of great footage from those times

Brazil lovers Soundgarden, LoudLove
Cornell normally did not play guitar in Ty Cobb. On all the 1996 shows he did not play guitar for this one .
Amazing!

Would you happen to have any footage of Alice in Chains playing in Helsinki on Feb 10, 93?
Theres a rather lengthy press conference video around...but havent come across anything from the gig.
