I was given too much Chemo, strong Chemo 7-8 years ago. I have struggled with Chemo Brain - I was put on SSI, I couldn’t work, I can’t multitask, can’t concentrate to do simple tasks. So frustrated no one understands what I go through. I can’t live on SSI, not enough money. Especially living in California. I tried going back to school but couldn’t do the online computer stuff. I don’t know what to do for work at age 55, single
in debt. More people need to be educated on Chemo Brain

Love that you are sharing your experience. I am writing lists in my phone and also set the alarm for certain reminders, write notes and stuff. It does take it's toll on me and frustrates me from time to time but I feel like it's slowly getting better.
Oh this may sound weird but playing a game like Stardew Valley helped. Because you have your little farm and you have to take care of it and there are tasks each day and you have to plan ahead... Good exercise for the brain.

I finished chemo (EPOCH) a little over 3 months ago and my hair has already started growing back pretty quickly! It’s a little past the buzz cut stage (not quite as long as yours looks here yet) but I’m very excited for it to get to this length after seeing this video!
I have to know-what products did you use here??

I have another video where I talked about all the products I used! I loved the Shea Moisture curl products for my chemo curls 💕

So reassuring to know it's not just me. Your video and a few others like it, have helped me learn that it's ok to sugar my coffee twice and then forget I even made coffee. Heh. I wish this was more widely known. All the best to you!

What has been your funniest/most awkward experience with chemo brain?

I can look at someone while they’re talking to me and totally forgetting what they said right after. That’s probably a mix of chemo brain and my normal memory 😂

I believe my mom is suffering from chemo brain but she is 70 and I don’t know how to bring it up to her without upsetting her
