DJI Mavic Pro - 4K sample test.

My second DJI Mavic test. 4K w// color correction. We made a bit of research on how to improve the Mavic image quality. We discovered an interesting way, is a bit tricky but does the job quite well:
- Set the focus to "Manual mode";
- Switch to 1080p mode and use the digital zoom to get the right magnification (2.0x);
- Adjust the focus and lock;
- Switch back to 4K;
This is a sample video that shows the result. Bear in mind that there is no sharpening added in post;

You're a very skillful pilot, it freaks me out at the beginning and the ending part when your drone fly over the tree branches. My mavic pro crash on the branches once when I tried to maneuver over them, and got the gimbals and some cables connected to the camera broken.

Great shots! Looking to get a Mavic as a secondary drone for my Inspire 1 Pro as the convenience when travelling abroad will be huge. Whats your honest opinion on usage/quality from a photographers point of view?

That's lovely. I'm amazed at the quality the Mavic camera provides. It does appear a bit over sharpened though. Is it possible to reduce that setting?

Do you need to take the FAA part 107 exam in order to fly a drone and upload footage in UA-cam?

No you don't. The FAA license is only for commercial use and selling of aerial footage. You can still fly them as hobby anytime.
