Glory to God, our parish is using this book as our book study over the next 16 weeks and we had a record turnout for night 1 last night! What a great resource, thank you Dr. Constantinou!!!
@@bad_covfefe Fair enough just show me in the Bible where is says sola scriptura is false doctrine. Then I will show you a small few of the times the Bible says not to do all the stuff the "orthodox" Christians do. Such as all your backsliding pagan traditions that are not in the Bible except where they are being forbidden. I am not assuming anything but you must be assuming that I am stupid. Don't you understand the things you believe are being forbidden in the Bible and you worship men who were following after their own desires rather than relying on God.
The phrase “Prodigal Son” is in the Bible, I can’t remember what page? Of course, it isn’t. It’s an accurate description by Christians of an entirely biblical parable, but the word “Prodigal” is nowhere to be found. Similarly “Mother of God” is an accurate description of the ENTIRELY biblical account of who Mary is and who Jesus is.
Christ is risen! I love Serbia! I am Greek. I live in The Nethetlands. I hope Serbia will keep its "fronima" and stay out of the EU. What you have in Serbia must be cherished and preserved. ❤
I am a fairly recent "convert." I found her book a year or two after chrismation and my reaction was "Yes! This is exactly what I was looking for!" I read her book first then was blessed to hear Dr. Constantinou. If you are interested in Orthodoxy - or even cradle Orthodox - this is a must read.
When I see those seats i get jealous our churches still are on the impression we all need to stand in church, no sitting, unless an elder needing that or someone else with leg problems or something...
So, if everything with the birth of Christ is not a required belief does that mean you have the freedom to believe that Mary didn't remain a virgin for life?
1 Timothy 2:11-14 "Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression."
You have zero idea what Paul meant by that, or how it is to be interpreted. That is an injunction against women deacons and priestesses. But as a Sola Scriptura Protestant, feel free to be a Papacy of One...
@@bolshoefeodor6536 Actually the Apostle Paul did mean that women should not preach in the temple. And some of Jeannies other lectures make you understand why.
everybody needs to listen to every word the queen of modernity has to say. raised catholic. taught in catholic high school. Holy Cross. Ancient Faith radio she is not Orthodox.

What a pleasure to detox my previously protestant mind with this teaching 💜☦️🎶

Really? Why not?
Russian Orthodox yes are right. You should stand up for he whole service. Greek Orthodox, you can sit down. But i try to stand up as much as I can.
Yes you can. This is not the Divine Liturgy.
Is not mandatory. Of course you can sit down.
Focused on the wrong thing

She is Cypriot origin. Therefore Orthodox.
