Thank you , I appreciate tour comment. I was very lucky that the stars lined up and I managed to get exactly what I wanted at the time. I’m don’t take it for granted, I’m always doting over her, 7880km is on the odometer - average 138 km a month over 57 months. Thanks for watching- have a fantastic day🙏🙏🚙😀🙏🙏
Thanks for your comments. I’m sure Tom gets his brains from his Mum, he is clever little fella. I always cringe when I hear my voice and accent on the videos, 😬,I can barely listen to it. I’d like a posh English accent or a USA Seattle accent- the best in the English language Thanks for watching my videos 🙏🙏👍😃
I got one of these mate...Trust me..go and get it ceramic coated. I hardly ever have to wash it. And when you do it’s very very easy and you never have to polish it again. And make sure you get your windscreen... break callipers & rims done as well. 80 km an hour ago but I don’t even have to use my wipers the rain just disappears..
Hi Keg, I use Duragloss products which are excellent, but I concur, the Ceramic coating would last longer . I had even considered wrapping the car in satin black at one stage just to protect the paint underneath and have a non standard looking finish. I’ll get the ceramic done soon. I just have a few items I want to get first. Still hoping the Office of War and Treasury allows me the W547 upgrade with the cam and supercharger...work in progress 🙏😂. Thanks for watching 🙏🚙🍺👍
@@gavinpavlina - Just a word of advice, I had a 2012 HSV E3 GTS, I got the Walkinshaw W407 installed and trust me it’s very very thirsty LOL. Plus insurance goes through the roof. If you put the W547 on it be prepared to empty your wallet very quickly when it comes to petrol and insurance. In saying that I have driven to W547, I made of mine upgraded his VF GTS and it is an absolute weapon. But trust me when I say you can see the fuel gauge just dropped when you put your foot right foot down. But they are great fun to drive of course. I actually found not too much difference between a W375 And the W407. There’s only about 50 hp difference but it uses a lot more fuel.
I’m kinda expecting that. Mine is a bit of a garage queen so I might get away with it. I’m trying to sell the idea to my wife that it will be more efficient at burning fuel😂. Wish me luck.🙏 How is you W407, they sound awesome with that big cam in there?
Hi Gavin I love the sound of your car it remines me of my Ford except in my days they were louder , the cops took the fun out of it. Remember the old days my Ford had disc on the front and drums on the back and it was fun trying stop. Gavin can you come to my place in Prague and wash my MB GL350 you would do a great job and bring your son and wife Pauline. (My wife's name is Pauline) Cheers Tom p.s. I am glad you liked the video.
Absolutely, it would be awesome to visit Paulina and yourself in Prague. I love the MB cars, I’’d love a AMG C-63. I had the same brake set up on my Holden Sandman as your Ford, discs and drums. Scary stuff. The Redline can feel like that even with the excellent Brembos. The new style cars are so smooth and incredibly powerful , I am so happy to have these big brakes, the drums would not work on these cars. I still reckon those old carbie cars were fun to drive, they were crankier , noisier but more spirited in their performance. I’ll let you know when we are visiting again, I’ll do my best to have a free day in PRG.🙏🍺🍺🚙🍺🍷
It will be great when we can visit, We have so much annual leave available, I guess we will hope Pavlina and myself can get the same time off , and it has to be school holidays now, our kids are in high school so we can’t take them out any longer. Hopefully we can share a few pivo’s 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 together 🙏
I agree, would also like to give it a wrap in Matt black when I get some spare cash, I reckon it would look really good....still saving for a supercharger and cam too. I can’t wait until the Covid is all over and I can start saving🙏. Enjoy your day 🙏🍺🚙👍
Hi Gavin this is Jordan’s car reviews here. Loved the video. There are some more UA-camrs that you should subscribe to and here are there names now’ ZacBaldy’ Shmee150’ Sammit’ Ross Reviews’ Clay Wong’ and Picnik media and motoring box. You own a really nice V8 Commodore. What is the SSV redline’s exact odometer? From Jordan’s car reviews.
Good vid but just a couple of points....should never wash a car in full sun, it will absolutely damage the paint...secondly, starting a car and turning it off before it is up to temp is never good for an engine...
Hi Chris, thanks for viewing and for your comments. I’m usually washing the car in the morning in the shade but every now and then I will be tagged by bird or bat droppings so I will always remove that acidic stuff ASAP. I’m not sure , but that may have been the reason my car was washed in the late afternoon when I shot the vid. Good points though. 🙏🙏🙏. Have a fantastic day 🚙😀🙏
The most washing a car in direct sunlight will do is cause the water to evaporate... not a big deal. It looks to be the mid afternoon so the sun isn't as strong, and starting an engine and shutting it off before it gets to operating temperature also isn't going to do shit. Engines are designed for that.
It’s a bit of a hard one for me. My car is always locked up securely in a garage but living in this windy dusty city, dust still finds its way in. Not to mention my car is parked in front of the laundry door which sees a lot of foot traffic passing in front of the the car. I did a heap of research into the different type of covers and I agree with your comment, some need to be removed every 4 to 6 weeks otherwise they can stick to the paint or they deteriorate. An old digger I know has an immaculate 1967 HD wagon. He has been using flannel bed sheets for most of its life with no problems. So, my wife did a bit of work on the sewing machine and that’s what I have. The cover is only used after a wash so no grime or grit gets between the paint and the sheet. Once the car has been driven, the cover is not used. The only problem with the sheet is that it can sometimes leave a little lint but that is solved with the air loads of a drive. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏🚙🤘
The old walkin for sure flash generic tune 😂. It's a Holden not a Ferrari. I don't even have a cover on mine sits in garage for 11 months of the year cmon
Beautiful car

Hello. My question was wrong. My question is. Where's the first gear on your car? From body to body. (Translating to Google.) Thanks for the info.
I got it now😂. Reverse at the top left , then 1st upper left, 2 nd lower left. Night tight gear changes with the Tremec gearbox

@@gavinpavlina thank you very much for your reply back. From Jordan’s car reviews.
These commodores are so much nicer in auto, manuals are just lumpy, jerky and stressful and a nightmare to drive in heavy traffic
If you're driving a manual car and its "lumpy", "jerky" and "stressful", then you don't know what you're doing.

Hey mate don't bother with car covers especially makeshift ones, no matter how careful you are they do more damage than good!
