How do you like your 2024 RAV4 Hybrid ? I’m considering getting the LE version for with a few basic add-ons in lower trim and was curious how people like the drive considering the hybrid mileage and any major issues happening since this will be my first hybrid compare to gas only cars. I read with some people have “cablegate” issues with hybrid corrosion but maybe that depends on where you’re driving a type of weather.

I have a very lazy way of washing my 2023 Toyota Corolla Hatchback by dumping rain x car wash and reusing the water to wash the car that way with a terry towel (without the tag) but I’m so glad I’ve never taken any car through a car wash because of what you brought up in the end of the video! Yeesh that’s insane what car washes can do especially on a new car.
Thank you for this video! It’s very easy to follow. I was able to get my truck cleaned off using your methods! And buying some of the products you mentioned. Can’t thank you enough!!!
Thank you so much for sharing. Would it be possible for you to share how to deep clean the interior? What products do you use to clean your leather seats?
What I do to prevent scratches from dirty wash mitts is to buy several wash mitts. Also it’s faster as well since I don’t have to spend time washing the mitts in between. After I’m done I toss the mitts and the microfiber towels in the washer and then tumble dry
I pretty much do exactly like you did. I like to use my pressure washer. You have to be careful, but with the correct tip it’s fine. Does great job on body molding and wheel wells.
@@Nicole.Sisson I’m in the process of ordering a foam cannon to use with my pressure washer. You and Mat should check them out, it looks like it will be a great tool for washing your car and other stuff too.
Great video but I do this an always accept for one thing I don’t use the 2 wash buckler method because I have the bucket with the little dirt holder thing that’s inside that traps the dirt
Hello Ma'am, Your Content is great ! I wanted to know that you wash your car everyday or once in 2 days or twice a week ? Can you please share your frequency of cleaning your car ?
Maybe a dumb question, but how often would you typically do a full wash like this? Depending on conditions, once a month in the summer, or up to once a week in winter
aww... you looked adorable on the step stool Nicole🥰. I start off with a rinse followed by a soapy wash from a foam cannon. Then wash it off with a pressure washer followed by claybar... too lazy for anything else 😆
You should buy a monthly pass at a good gas station like Holiday that’s what I do 30$ a month unlimited touchoess 0 possibly of micro scratches. It’s not worth risking it just drive through and wipe it down with a soft cloth made to dry car off. If u have bugs on front use high pressure spray to get them out the cracks then through the touchless wash.
@@Nicole.Sissona single hand wash can create scratches that go as deep as 1/10 of the paint thickness. Cleaning products can damage your paint and make it dull. If you keep your car waxed and buffed every 4-5 months a touchless will not hurt the paint.
@@Nicole.Sissonthe wax will come off eventually on its own anyways as long as u keep it waxed and when it does your good to go because it replaces the old with a fresh coating which should last another 4-5 months roughly

nice one, but the thing is, it doesn't really matter where you wash it, as a mechanic, what really matters in the long run is the buttom end of your car and the engine bay. I've seen countless cars with shiny outside but terribly rusty lower end and extremely dusty under-the-hood area. Those dust and rust are gonna eat up your frames, connectors, screws, brackets and a lot more, costing your more money you've saved from DIY washing your cars
@@Nicole.Sisson common household water hose will suffice. Try using regular flow instead of high pressure because the force is gonna let moist into the connectors. cover your battery poles and alternator when you wash the engine bay. Do it every few month to half a year. I live in a place with a lot of snow maybe that's why I saw too much rusty cars.
False. It absolutely matters where you wash it. A crappie automated car wash can damage your paint as stated in this video. That being said, washing the undercarriage is also advised, and safely washing engine bay is ok also. The methods are not mutually exclusive to each other
