There's one thing that I never could stand: a bully! They are the worst sort ever, always trying to intimidate smaller people, or even smaller girls. 90 percent of the fights I was involved in as a kid and adult were from punks and bullies. Not a very big person, I had a temper and refused to let them win, even knowing that I didn't have a chance. But they left the fight, loser or winner, with a few reminders that I would not be pushed around. I also protected a lot of boys and girls, men and women. That's how it's supposed to be. Everyone, stand up for yourself, and give 'em a little something extra!
Just a few months ago, I met a guy I used to go to primary (elementary) school with nearly 40 years ago. He’d remembered me, and somehow recognised me. I had completely forgotten who he was, but he reminded me quickly. He was 2 years younger than me at school, and he had some learning challenges, making him the focus of certain bullies. He remembers me standing up to those bullies (I was significantly bigger than them), and inviting him to be part of my friends lunch group, which offered him protection. I had no idea that simple act meant so much to him, and he’d remembered it for so long. It made me feel great that I’d had such an impact, and we’re now in touch again - he even lives in the same suburb. I told my 10 year old nephew about him, and I was so proud when my nephew told me he plays footy at lunch with a kid from the grade below his, to keep him away from bullies.
I was bullied in school, graduated at 6’6” 220lbs. Went to my 20th high school reunion, much different attitude when they saw me walk in at 6’10” 300lbs. Never had to point out the past because the apology and the fear I saw in his eyes was more than enough retribution.
Using Danny Trejo as the boxing instructor was priceless. Danny is not the biggest guy around but his persona and well documented toughness is renowned. In junior high I bullied and belittled a short very fat kid in my gym class in front of everybody. The kid turned red-faced with tears in his eyes and balled up fists and said, I'm not afraid of you anymore! He said my last name which I won't say at this time. I was much bigger and athletic at 15 and could have pummeled the kid. Instead, I felt shame and sorry for the boy and apologized to him. From that point on I never bullied or name-called someone again. Not openly though. I'm 75 years old now and that incident along with many others plague me with guilt stored in my mental rolodex.😔
My son was bullied horribly by a gang of 6 at school. Yeah, 6 on one. Nothing was done about it. When he finally fought back, he was suspended! He's now a grown man. He's a good man. He has a beautiful family and life. I have no doubt those 6 are running wild and wreaking havoc wherever they go. Just look at Philadelphia, Pa. as I speak.
This is my same story. NY raised. Tough guys everywhere. At 15 my parents and grandfather put me in boxing lessons at the YMCA in White plains New York. I was trained by Steve Acunto and his son Steve Jr. What are my sparring partners was named Jack Dempsey. Lolol. But this was in 1976. Anyway, I spent all summer everyday of IT training. When I went back to school the bullies started in right away. Let me tell you this kid in the video looked valiant. But I tore into them like a Christmas ham!! I beat the crap out of those guys! But like this kid I never lost my heart. I became the protector of all the kind people!! Lol. I can remember punching that guy Big Al to this day. I was walking through the Halls by the gym, they ran up on me grabbed me by the hair and threw me against the gym lockers. Except this time the way I looked up at them must have scared them.. I launched with my foot off of the lockers and punched the huge dude in front of me Square in the face so hard I knocked him off his feet. the others were momentarily shocked, but when they regained their senses they tried to jump on me but I was elbows and fists! 😅 I wailed tar out of them. As I was leaving I realized Mr O'Reilly the gym teacher was standing there .. I could have sworn he said "it's about time" under his breath. 😅😅 Yeah it was. Studied martial arts most of my life since then and never started a fight.. peace.
I was also bullied. My brother joined a judo club, and then I joined. I was not very good at it but got up to a brown belt and we also did some mixed martial arts. In grade 11 our gym teacher was angry because I did not want to be on the football team. In wrestling, he set me up with a dumb bully who was very bad especially to girls. I refused to grapple & wrestle and just stepped right into him and swept my right leg behind his and down he went with my full weight on his chest. He was winded and could not move until the teacher hit him on the back so he coud breathe again. He never bullied again and coming out of the shower room all the guys were shaking my hands. One problem remained, namely my brother who was 75 lbs heavier than me and was a bully. I got him back by doing much better than him at everything else. I could have had him charged with assault and he knew it.
I served 6 years and 276 days with HM Colours in the Royal Tank Regiment starting Jan 7 1966 in Germany 40Kms from the East German border. In my unit there was Smudge, a seemingly weak individual who would spend his pay on buying others a drink and then 2 days later after payday be broke for the rest of the week. All he got for that was disdain and piss taking by the very people he was generous to. Come July 1969 we were all being trained to fight the IRA with pick axe handles shields and helmets ! Smudge was one of them. Then on being sent to Northern Ireland Smudge took on a different role. After a tour he would be there to welcome the returning soldiers, sometimes with vomit all down their fornt, this happened a lot ! He would be there with his arm around their shoulders reassuring them and calming them down. He NEVER flicnched in the face of the enemy. Smudge was a Regimental Rock that others could depend on for protection and reassurance. A total turn around from a peace time Army. It was brilliant to see. I was close with him through thick and thin. To watch this transformation is one of the proudest happenings of my life. God Bless you Smudge, you made a lot of frightened people very secure :) If you are reading this Smudge, you know who you are :) :) A true story.
@@thomasmarciano6133 There were MKII Ferret Scout cars issued to the trrops to go on routine patrol. Often a driver would pull up to a junction then whoosh, projectile vomit all down himself. There was no warning of this occuring. Or on foot patrol watch a family, very smartly dressed walk by.
By Sept 69 everything had changed those families who would invite soldiers into their homes suddenly turned. As they walk past a dull thud could be felt. On looking down there would be excrement dribbling down the fornt of the same soldier who had been into their homes for a Sunday lunch. It was heart breaking !
Had a kid at school that was bullied by the other scrawny kids. He hit puberty late, but when he did, he grew 7” and gained 40 lbs. Ended up a head taller than his tormentors. Right or wrong, some of us encouraged him to call out his bullies. He did. They backed down. He thanked me later in life and said that challenging those guys was the single best thing for his self esteem. Doing that snapped him out of depression. Didn’t know at the time, but he was really down and looking for a way out.
I had people try to bully me when I was younger and sometimes as an adult until I showed them I could defend myself not only physically but mentally also.
I was constantly bullied at work by a supervisor and HR looked the other way, I was happy I was able to retire, I believe Karma will get the supervisor.
I have NEVER put up with being bullied. People have tried it a few times over my years, but like I said....I have NEVER put up with being bullied, not physically, mentally, or psychologically! People can only do what YOU allow them to do....period!
I was 15 years old when this girl Lisa and 3 of her friends would bully me every day in school. It was so bad I couldn't take it anymore. Lisa was the ring leader of their little gang, and she beat me up to a pulp twice after school. My mom then took me out of that school and had me home schooled after. It was my older half sister who was living in Michigan at the time who is a 2nd degree black belt in Jiu Jitsu who said to my birth mom to get me some self defense training. I am now a black belt at 31 years old. I found out last year, Lisa committed suicide and it was from being abused at home by her parents for so many years. So that explains all the anger she had. I just pray that she found peace with the lord, as I have never been a grudgeful and hateful person in any way.
I've read many incidents like this where the cause of the bullying isn't always what you thought it was and the parents or siblings were the reason for their anger. Your story is horrifying with what you having gone through being absolutely awful but then realizing what was happening to your tormentor. Sometimes there are just no words.😢
@@margounderly1379 Thank you for the kind comment. It really is sad, yes. But she is with the great Lord above now and in loving arms. Peace and Love always and have a wonderful day.☮♥
i used to sit by an overweight girl on the bus in high school and it stopped people from making fun of her, they used to yell 'harpoon that whale!" when she got on the bus. she was from a poor family and i think they had no running water at their house sometimes too. years later when i was in my late 30's i was in a biker bar with a friend of mine and we were pretty drunk, doing some coke etc. some girls tricked us into going out to their can to smoke a joint with them, they went to a van that turns out wasnt even theirs! soon the whole biker gang came out walking towards us sitting in the van, the 2 girls opened the back door and ran. it seemed we were about to be in a fight with 25 biker guys for sitting in one of their main guys vans like we were stealing it or something, then some cute hippy girl spoke to them and they invited us into the bar and gave us free drinks the rest of the night and the incident was over. the cute hippy girl came and sat by me and asked if i knew who she was, i said no. it was the overweight girl from the bus, her boyfriend was the biker gangs leader. 😎
I was bullied by a boy 4 years older than me when I was really young. Had to walk home from school close to a mile , i had to cross a bridge on the way home where he would wait and attack after I crossed the bridge. He even tried to throw me over onto the river a few times. Back then, nobody seemed to give a crap about it. I heard he went to prison soon after he grew up. Fortunately, I never ran i to him again.😮
I was a bully to a couple of kids, many years ago. I’m 68 years old. I wish I could meet them, to say I am sorry. I get thinking about it at times. Makes me sick to my stomach.
I've often wondered what becomes of schoolyard bullies when they get older. Do they keep doing that all through life? Do they grow out of it? Good to know at least one grew out of it.
A friend of mine who was bullied in school ran into his former tormentor years later at a party. The guy eyed him for a long time, then he said I recognize you and I want to apologize for how I treated you. So some guys grow out of this phase, I suspect the ones who don't end up very unhappy in life.
I was a small kid before I hit my growth spurt. I never wanted to fight but I had a serious temper. When someone tried to bully me, it definitely didn't go well for them, and it usually only happened once. I just had that instinct to stop them. I was more afraid of them coming back so a lot of the times I might have gone too far. The school thought I had anger issues but didn't realize that the only people I ever hurt were the ones that terrorized the smaller kids and only after they came after me.
I was a severely bullied kid myself, and my life long lesson is; Bullies are primarily cowards who are shi* scared of the tougher, hence they pound their frustrations on the weak and vulnerable only to feel their pseudo prowess. Always tell this to a bully's face. He might back off if he has some shame.
@@maliktariq5553 i used to run from my bullies all the time. Im a very patient person and let the anger grow inside till 1 day i burst, put the guy in a 2 week coma, this all happened at school, after that they kinda left me alone till last day of school, 5,6 kids waited dit me, threw me in the ditch.after that i went to another school and haven't had any problems anymore. Happened when i was 10-16
Yeah I got the same. And ended up winning in the last fight I ever got beaten up in. One hit me in the head repeatedly with a history book. So grabbed the book back, broke his nose and split his lower lip. And threw his book out the School bus window. And YET I was the one who got into school detention. A previous one where I was threatened by what was a former close friend, her boyfriend threatened me, then SHE lied and said I tried to stab her boyfriend with a knife I didn't even own. And got ME into trouble. Butt both cases. I had the first wins where 4 times by the same enemy. But since I won 3 out of 4 fights with him he became good friend.
@@stevenbaker8184 heh! Typical aint it? How the victims get "punished" instead of the purps. Was the same for me at some point a guy was griefing me and the janitor asked me if i would turn vindictive. I told him no. Its not like i get into a fight over a little silly thing 😑
I was a bully magnet, they where always twice my size, i blacked out twice, did not turn out well for the bullies, not the dog in the fight, more so the fight in the dog, don't give up, don't back down, fight like your life depends upon it.
I only ever experienced one memorable attempt at being bullied. (Aside from the sibling rivalry type and the occasional beating from the old man, which stopped when I hit him back one day😅) Despite my calm and friendly demeanour, on one occasion at school in the 70’s I was approached by two lads, Scott and Steven, I sensed that they wanted to have a go at me. Scott had a swing at me but missed. I gave him a shove in the chest while hooking my foot behind his feet and he fell backwards, flat on his arse. Both Scott and Stephen walked away. I had no self defence training and somehow, this is what happened. I’d never been bullied before or since, made friends with all types, including the nerdy types and the tougher folk. Guess I was lucky. Taller than most, yet a bean pole and certainly not tough. I’m 60 now and still have the same calm demeanour and no bullying, physically or mentally of any consequence. I hope it stays that way… I have become fitter and stronger though, actively run two businesses… but, in the back of my mind, always wary of the Scott and Stephen types of the world! Thanks for the video.
At age 12 I started High school in AK New Zealand, I was very small at 5ft & 5 stone, lo Ed music & tennis. A guy, big time bully used to come I to music class before the teacher & if I didn't hand over my lunch I got beaten. After 6 or 8 weeks complaining nothing happened as bully was a good rugby player. I made him layered sandwiches, lettuce, him h mustard on top & poo underneath. I handed over my lunch, every other pupil knew what I had done. Bully took a huge bite & threw up almost instantly & got teased by the class, never happened again,
I was bullied mercilessly at middle and high school. Mostly by boys with their own issues when I think back. But it made my school days mostly miserable. Apart from a few friends I had. Not sure I could have gone on.
I was a bully in school back in early 70s because i was beating up by my father many times I ended up borstel for stupid stuff but I learnt the hard way every day I had to fight every one wanted fight me it taught me a lot I was so ashamed wen I got out wen back to school I changed they all said the bully back but they wear shocked I stud up in in the class room told my story I said sorry and they all clapped said you learned the hard way well done I was so ashamed of my self
I was bullied for being a small girl and real short 4'5". I was in junior high. One day, she pulled my long hair pushed me up against the locker and threatened to cut my hair. I finally had enough and just started hitting her in the face and body and then push her in my open locker and lock her in. I got a broken nose and kick out of school for 3 weeks, her face was black and blue for weeks, and her and nobody else bullied me again. As my mom always said, sometimes you have to stand up for yourself.😊
I'm a different kind of bully. Because I like to scare anyone without getting physical with anyone. Yeah that's why I'm a muscular man that no one would want to fight me.
I was bullied as a kid, and they terrorized me. I lived in fear. Then one day one of them made me angry. Guess what? You can’t be afraid and angry at the same time. That bully wound up begging for mercy. All because of stuff going on in his head. Someone who is confident will not get bullied for long.
Bullied a gal in high school, so thankful I was able years later to see her again and apologize to her for all the pain I caused her. The deep regret dissappeared.
Amazing how there’s no teachers or principal or vice principal at that school to report the bullying to, forcing the so-called adults in his life to persuade him to resort to violence instead of the bully’s parents getting called to the school and informed about their kid’s delinquencies and him getting reprimanded and required to apologize to his victims and be expelled and have criminal charges pressed against him if he continues.
What people forget is people change. Boys can get a sudden growth change making the much bigger & muscular. Nerdy people can become more handsome/beautiful. It can also go the other way. Beautiful girls can lose their looks.
congratulations job well done. I was bullied too. I know what it feels like. Sometimes we just gotta stand up for what we believe in and don’t take no crap off no punk have a great day stood I am proud of you. Great job.👍👍👍❤️😄
Sometimes you have to stand up and take the pain but if you stand your ground and fight back “most” of the time that is all that needs to happen. Ya I was one of those that had to fight back, took some beatings from the gang but in time they knew FAFO. Now a days you have to worry about guns so I have no answer to that issue. Just push forward, speak out, and remember in time you will be better than those bullies. That 10yr or 20yr or 30yr reunion you will see that you are way past those fools. Heads up if your bullied don’t let them see your fear and push forward you got this 🤜🏼🤛🏼
That's what happened to me to but some people think just because you are small your punch will not hurt. But they didn't think I have leg's to and when I kick it doesn't tickle 🤗
I was bullied at school because I was overweight. I was an honor student and the only way they could get to me was to talk about my size. It was difficult, but I made it through. I have seen some of my tormentors over the years and they looked terrible. Many of them had no skills and were working at low paying jobs. So glad that I held my head up and taught school for over 30 years. I made sure that my students understood that bullying was not allowed in my class.
I was bullied in grade school and Jr high, started lifting weights my sophomore year and started setting records for my high school for my weight class and all of a sudden the bullying stopped. My old bullies would look at me and you could tell there were unsure of me at that point. Never had to fight after that, let your body do the talking
As a parent in a Zero tolerance school district, I went to the school and told the student counselor about our Law of 3 for bullies: - Tell them 3 times to stop - Tell the teacher 3 times to stop - Everyman for himself. - If they expel my son, I'll go to court for negligence. My kid has a severe learning disability, which is why we taught him to defend himself.
@@ellenchavez2043im glad you taught him to defend himself i think in the scenario that you are saying that we should teach our special needs children how to defend themselves against a bully
@@ellenchavez2043 the same as with my son who struggled because of his learning disability and was sometimes bullied. With my son there was a point where he wouldn't take it anymore and responded by defending himself, which unfortunately got him into trouble.
I was bullied as a child. I enlisted in the Air Force. My last 18 months were on the Island of Okinawa 1971 - 1972....where I studied the Martial Arts. Okinawan style of Shorin Ryu . I went back to my school town Minong WI.... Found the bully and mentioned the Black Belt I had earned. He worked as a bar tender.. I had not mentioned that we had to take a oath to hurt no man. Got who got free drinks. Never used it to this day for hurting anybody. I still work out.
I never really needed to get back at people for picking on me for being short. I was great at sports, one of the top of my class, going places and ready to hawk women in college, which i did. Just get better, people who go out of their way to pick on other people are losers with something sad on the inside. Before i graduated hs i felt more accomplished and skilled than most kids in my state let alone county but i kept the confidence to myself and used it to excell in college. My talent and potential was oblivious to my own family, even though it was evident in almost everything i did.
I was never bullied because I always got more involved with weight lifting and everyone became scared of me. Because all I did was scare them without getting physical with them and that's all.
I was bullied in middle school. I was timid but held my own by brushing off punches to my back and “ meet me outside by the flagpole”! I met him at the wrong pile and nothing became of it. Not sure why but I bought a weight bench and weights to workout at home. Never had any problems in high school.
I had a couple or so in my life as a kid or teen try to bully me a few times, and I’ve always been short and have cerebral palsy in my legs but still walked, but I never had to fight them but they learned I wasn’t gonna take their crap and still stood up to them. They left me alone afterwards. Actually there was one other older guy who was a teenager older than me at the time on a bus who was behind me wouldn’t leave me alone. I told him to back off. Even the other students and bus driver told him to stop. He kept messing with me and I stood up and punched him square in the face. He got mad but never touched me again. Even the bus driver told him, I told you to leave him alone but you wouldn’t listen. lol
Being bullied positively changed my life, I was a little guy, with zero athleticism, and poor white trash, however the first guy with a "Beatle haircut" in my small city, (this was 1966), and the gals loved me but the guys hated me. This led it several years of harassment and danger. However, it inspired me to hit the weights and the heavy bag, that was almost 60 years ago and I am still training 10/15 hours a week as I turn 76 and look like a fit guy in his 50s as a bonus the gals still like me and the now sloppy estrogen laced, flabby former jock bullies now recall how much they liked me those long years ago when they bounced me off lockers and pissed on me,
Once you’ve had real fighting training, you realize the best street fight is the one you didn’t have. But, when it’s time it’s time, and they’ll never bother you again.
I was bullied when I was in school I stood up to them I was strong they attacked my bike spread rumors mean people it's sad they get pleasure out of hurting other people
Same happened to me at highschool. I never did like fighting so i was always running away. Until that day they where going to far : i kicked a guy(biggest in my classroom) so good (MMA style) and fast/hard that he didnt have any change to hit me back. His head was purple and blue. Since that day every1 didnt try anything on me...
Good movie sometimes fight is never the answer because someone would get hurt but I understand how people feel because I’ve been bullied. Looks like I’m not alone.
When I was in grade 9 and 10, the boys wouldn’t leave me alone. I beg my parents to put me in boarding school, so I went Trafalgar school for girls In Montreal. What a relief!😂
Typical bully behaviour, Miles picks on Jimmy, (the perceived easy target) Vinny challenges Miles cowardice by preparing Jimmy to fight back, in the end, Jimmy proves Miles ain't so tough after all, great film! Everything indicative of the way cowards behave, if only this example was shown in schools as to the way cowards behave, it might eliminate a good deal of bullying with those bully's who might just be brainy enough to figure it out.
I was bullied in school. A cheerleader & her best friend would make fun of my last name. Then, I was held back a year. Some guys & a group of girls made fun of me. They all called me names. I was so humiliated.
When I went to highschool the bullies were cowards. They would sucker punch you and you never even got to see who hit you.I was 6' 4" and 185 pounds on my first day in highschool I never even got to my first class and somebody punched me in the jaw just walking to my homeroom.Another time I was eating in the cafateria and somebody took both hands and cupped me ears and I almost passed out but never seen who did it and nobody would tell me who did it.I started working out and put on about 50 pounds of muscle and then made short work of these A Holes but then had their buddies come after me for beating the crap out of their friends.Eventually I never got bothered any more especially after the seniors graduated because they were the worst animals in school.I beat one guy that kept wanting me to fight him and finally I gave in and he got a left hook and a right hook and he was done.He was spitting up blood for a couple days and his face was ripped open and one eye was pure blood. He and I have been friends since and he said he had never been hit that hard before and after all these years he had probably been in a hundred fights and he still hasn't learned squat. If you get bullied and cower you lose your self respect but when you stand up to the bully win or lose they will think twice..
I would turn into a ferocious Mommy bear if my sons would ever of got bullied at school….it’s despicable that so many schools and some parents think bullying is part of growing up….NO ITS NOT…😤😤 There should be a zero tolerance at every school where bullying is concerned…..you are not born a bully it’s taught…..I live in UK 🇬🇧 and absolutely despise bullying in any shape or form…..breaks my heart to think of the children who are scared to go to school, can’t sleep because they know the bullies are at school…more needs to be done to help and STOP 🛑 this disgusting behaviour

Must have been tough duty in Northern Ireland
@@tonygriffiths2485 there should be a heart or a care meme as apposed to a like or dislike because as you say that must have been heartbreaking 😢
For some reason people think bullying stop when you leave school! Truth is at the work place bullying is common place . Not physically but mentally!
True
@rickphillips5098 absolutely true. Unfortunately I am going through something similar at work. Power and control go to a lot of people's heads.
I was constantly bullied at work by a supervisor and HR looked the other way, I was happy I was able to retire, I believe Karma will get the supervisor.
There are bullies everywhere child and adult, male and female.
I’m glad you still have a kind heart. It’s just so sad.
@@margounderly1379 Thank you for the kind comment. It really is sad, yes. But she is with the great Lord above now and in loving arms. Peace and Love always and have a wonderful day.☮♥
Wowser, ever?
i used to sit by an overweight girl on the bus in high school and it stopped people from making fun of her, they used to yell 'harpoon that whale!" when she got on the bus. she was from a poor family and i think they had no running water at their house sometimes too.
years later when i was in my late 30's i was in a biker bar with a friend of mine and we were pretty drunk, doing some coke etc. some girls tricked us into going out to their can to smoke a joint with them, they went to a van that turns out wasnt even theirs!
soon the whole biker gang came out walking towards us sitting in the van, the 2 girls opened the back door and ran.
it seemed we were about to be in a fight with 25 biker guys for sitting in one of their main guys vans like we were stealing it or something, then some cute hippy girl spoke to them and they invited us into the bar and gave us free drinks the rest of the night and the incident was over.
the cute hippy girl came and sat by me and asked if i knew who she was, i said no. it was the overweight girl from the bus, her boyfriend was the biker gangs leader.
❤
I was a bully to a couple of kids, many years ago. I’m 68 years old. I wish I could meet them, to say I am sorry. I get thinking about it at times. Makes me sick to my stomach.
Same. Exact same.
Bravo
Same. I had anger, which I took out on others. I feel sorry for that. There was a reason for my anger….
I have wondered how my school bullies fared in life. I'm 63 now. I have wondered if any or all of them had regret.
Same here, hugs for you mate. Hope you are a lot stronger now and got over the abuse❤
@@dwaijer Later in life I learned to fight, take a punch to the face. But the scars had been made. I've taught my son to be tough but not a bully.
It does!
And so does your dignity!
Seen red did ya? Hahaha blacked out. Stop being silly. The usual things people say when they can’t fight or do anything about it
@potta061 I stand up for myself, try it sometime.
I only ever experienced one memorable attempt at being bullied. (Aside from the sibling rivalry type and the occasional beating from the old man, which stopped when I hit him back one day😅)
Despite my calm and friendly demeanour, on one occasion at school in the 70’s I was approached by two lads, Scott and Steven, I sensed that they wanted to have a go at me.
I hope it stays that way…
I have become fitter and stronger though, actively run two businesses… but, in the back of my mind, always wary of the Scott and Stephen types of the world!
Bullies only understand one thing - standing up to them.
Didn't work for me, my bully never stopped. We both could fight well. We both got suspended a lot for it too.
Do you know what a full stop is or a period? Learn how to use them. You just look stupid!
I hate bullies and after reading your story it's good that you were able to stand up to your tormentors.
sucks that if you defend yourself that you get in trouble
@doug2349 yea, if that happened now in 2024, I would be juvenile jail.😅
I'm a different kind of bully. Because I like to scare anyone without getting physical with anyone. Yeah that's why I'm a muscular man that no one would want to fight me.
I was bullied as a kid, and they terrorized me. I lived in fear. Then one day one of them made me angry. Guess what? You can’t be afraid and angry at the same time. That bully wound up begging for mercy. All because of stuff going on in his head. Someone who is confident will not get bullied for long.
All of the bullies back when I was in school used to insult me nonstop. Now when I see them, they say, "Would you like fries with that sir?"
Bullied a gal in high school, so thankful I was able years later to see her again and apologize to her for all the pain I caused her. The deep regret dissappeared.
Well, I'm sure that we are all relieved that you feel better! It's still all about you.
This video meant a lot to me in so many ways. Thank you for posting this.
They should be making more films like this one.
Why?
congratulations job well done.
Heads up if your bullied don’t let them see your fear and push forward you got this 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Beautiful video, you will help alot of young people.thank you
Kool story we had bullies in our school ! Always protected the meek , I was an athlete
I was small in school but it didn't take long to figure out that you don't have to win every fight as long as you make sure they don't want anymore.
That's what happened to me to but some people think just because you are small your punch will not hurt. But they didn't think I have leg's to and when I kick it doesn't tickle 🤗
Anyone gonna say the name of the damn movie?
That kid saying that f'ing douchebag line was hilarious 😂
I was bullied at school because I was overweight. I was an honor student and the only way they could get to me was to talk about my size. It was difficult, but I made it through. I have seen some of my tormentors over the years and they looked terrible. Many of them had no skills and were working at low paying jobs. So glad that I held my head up and taught school for over 30 years. I made sure that my students understood that bullying was not allowed in my class.
Oh, Machete is the teacher
You said it right
Schools know who are bullying but they wait till the person being bullied defends themselves and that is who gets in trouble
Great story!
Remake of My Bodyguard, an excellent movie.
My Bodyguard is in my top 10 best movies of all time.
I think I seen that movie before but I can't remember look pretty good
I was bullied....... Never really forgot, but i saw one of them at a reunion..... The look i gave him, he knew times have changed.....
Thank You !
I honestly thought this was Danny Partridge at first glance.
This “Jimmy” plays a character in Mr. Iglesias aka Fluffy a true down to earth comedian.
I was bullied in grade school and Jr high, started lifting weights my sophomore year and started setting records for my high school for my weight class and all of a sudden the bullying stopped. My old bullies would look at me and you could tell there were unsure of me at that point. Never had to fight after that, let your body do the talking
Yeah! Here they would both be expelled!
The victims get punished for defending themselves just like they did something wrong!
As a parent in a Zero tolerance school district, I went to the school and told the student counselor about our Law of 3 for bullies:
- Tell them 3 times to stop
- Tell the teacher 3 times to stop
- Everyman for himself.

Always stand up to a bully, even if you loose the bully will respect you..
What is the name of the movie please. I want to watch it tonight
What's was the name of the movie 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 📽 🤔 😊 please inform me
I was bullied in middle school. I was timid but held my own by brushing off punches to my back and “ meet me outside by the flagpole”! I met him at the wrong pile and nothing became of it. Not sure why but I bought a weight bench and weights to workout at home. Never had any problems in high school.
You can't trick me! That's Danny Trejo! 😅
I was the fat boy who got picked on when I was a child. I am an old man now and I'm still being picked on. That's life.
Great acting- all around!
However, it inspired me to hit the weights and the heavy bag, that was almost 60 years ago and I am still training 10/15 hours a week as I turn 76 and look like a fit guy in his 50s as a bonus the gals still like me and the now sloppy estrogen laced, flabby former jock bullies now recall how much they liked me those long years ago when they bounced me off lockers and pissed on me,
It’s always the quiet ones you have to be scared of.
Jimmy played a GREAT character on Mr. ENGLASIUS! The comedian named Fluffy's
Show!
Very simplistic.
Once you’ve had real fighting training, you realize the best street fight is the one you didn’t have. But, when it’s time it’s time, and they’ll never bother you again.
I can’t put my finger on it…. But this movie gives me heavy duty Karate Kid vibes 🤔🤔
I love bullies, but they don't like me at all!
I was bullied when I was in school I stood up to them I was strong they attacked my bike spread rumors mean people it's sad they get pleasure out of hurting other people
If Jimmy gains confidence & discipline Miles will run the other way without a punch thrown. Bullies attack what they perceive as weakness.
What the name of this movie
Hello yes! I want to go see it
The key is to stand up to bullies, not cower and whine. Bullies are cowards and intimidate easily if they see strong resistance.
My daughter is in this movie. It was filmed in our old neighborhood in Brick, NJ

Grew up in Jersey. Brick was a powerhouse in football every year. Kicked our butts good!
A Bullies reputation is like cancer. They quickly realize how lonely life becomes after high school.
One of my sons for all of his school years had this bully. After high school the bully became a Cop.
Karate Kid, reboot, I learned when I was young to defend myself. Sure lost a few but normally not bothered. I'm 62.
Good movie sometimes fight is never the answer because someone would get hurt but I understand how people feel because I’ve been bullied. Looks like I’m not alone.

What movie is this
Typical bully behaviour, Miles picks on Jimmy, (the perceived easy target) Vinny challenges Miles cowardice by preparing Jimmy to fight back, in the end, Jimmy proves Miles ain't so tough after all, great film!
Everything indicative of the way cowards behave, if only this example was shown in schools as to the way cowards behave, it might eliminate a good deal of bullying with those bully's who might just be brainy enough to figure it out.
The biggest bully is the one who is the weaker bully. These training guys are actors...
What is the name of this movie
Why is it allowed by the school in the first place? The school’s authority is just as guilty as the bully.
In my day most boy pupils were bullied by male teachers .
People still try to do this to me and im 53. I was horribly bullied all thru school
There was a guy at school who was a bully that regularly took money from people. He had 2 hangers on. .
20yrs later he paid the price and went to jail.
I watched it on Amazon and it was pretty good....had some comedy in it but was a-ok.
