Yep, most people have no idea how much energy is expended when you miss a damned punch or how heavy your hands become taking blow after blow. Best advice before you get into a ring, go condition yourself for at least 2 or 3 months, 3-4x a week. Even if you don't get much boxing practice in, you'll more than likely outlast your opponent and win :D LOL Boxing conditioning class is some of the most grueling you can subject yourself to. It is insane how much you can do in an hours time.
Also, when you're training, train beyond the fight time, beyond the rounds, it is huge.

Man, even though they’re both out of shape this video shows you how far having a little martial arts experience can take you vs someone who has no clue how to fight. Seemed like the big guy threw all his attacks while he was off balance. The power of a punch doesn’t come from your upper body, it comes from your legs and footwork

Out of shape???if they were out of shape they both wuld have never made it past the 1st round...do u expect them to have muscles? Look at all heavyweight boxers, look at offensive line men.

Sure. Probably one of the best boxing matches, I ever saw. It could have been finnished by the big guy, in an opportunity. I spotted.
The shorter guy, was younger and possibly had better stamina.
His high guard, was really strong, he was clever in one way to lean forward. Because, the big guy did not seem to have a great variety of punches in his arsenal. It was really entertaining.

@@matthewmartinez2417 they were not in good shape, nor conditioned. Getting winded after one round is bad enough, but they lacked musculature and power as well.
Even so, good on them for giving it a go.

Big guy effectively had no target to hit: shorter guy had a high guard and remained significantly bent forward nearly always, so the lower portion of his torso was unreachable for the tall man.
