So I had thus issue on my 03 yukon xl, it would stall out while driving couldn't use the A/C and pushing on the gas hard would cause it to stall out and I would have to pull over and put it in park start it and drive again. I replaced the fuel filter along with the ground wire from block to firewall ,but the thing that fixed it was the fuel filter she runs sooooo good now , no issues hope this helps somebody.
I got a 04 yukon SLT , mine did the same exact thing I hit the gas hard one time and about 20 minutes later The exact same thing happened , it stalled out I pulled over put it in park and started it up right again
No. After doing my research My Lifter #7 roller ball broke in the motor somewhere and its been eating up the Cam Which makes me think why I been having stalling issues Because the Cam is not working Right like its supposed too and I was going to do a (Cam and Oil Pump and O Ring Pick up tube replacement). Some people had the same exact issue happening and that fixed they Stalling and Low oil issues too. Video coming Soon.
@@cammims7645 alright because I have a stalling problem , it only happened to me 3 times on one single trip and that was it , I have cleaned my throttle body since then but it has only been a week so I will not know if that was the fix yet , I really need to get to the bottom why I stalled out , I got a 2004 Yukon SLT
@@CoolBoyz324 Since you have a 2004 you should be able to find someone with a similar problem. Get on Facebook and Join some GMC/Tahoe/Escalade Groups and see what they did to fix theirs.
I have the same issues with an 07 Escalade and an 07 suburban. The best thing I've done is ground out the throttle body, helped alot. The issue is the engine, if the truck was made after April it has afm. Afm is the problem. Buy another truck that doesn't have it is the best option or rebuild and do an afm delete. Nothing will fix that rough idle. Chevy mechanics have told me that all afm motors will have the same issue and there is nothing they can do to fix it. I have spent so much money chasing that idle, and time
@@ma4zah361 Still been putting it in Neutral. A shop did say something about Lean Bank 1 and Lean Bank 2 issues. I still have Check engine light code p0442, but haven't had time to get it fixed. Cause its still running in Neutral...
I seen you did the fuel pump. My 07 is stalling after driving it and I drop RPMs at a light or parking and it stalls. I had my pump replaced. And it’s still doing it. Did you pump fix the issue?
@@cammims7645 I seen a video showing to check the purge valve solenoid. I’m going to try that. I seen a video with the same truck and another of a guy with a 2008 Escalade (GM) and they tested their purge valve which had a continuous suction causing the engine to get flooded stalling both the Escalade and the 07’ Yukon Denali.
I paid the $179 for a diagnostic and the gaskets are what’s leaking. Any time replacing the MAF it has to be reprogrammed to the car when a new one is put in, same goes for the throttle body due to relearning the motor functions. I hope this will help anyone else having this issue. Intake manifold gasket leak between intake and the block. I was told the original gaskets are trash.
Yep change mass flow sensor and throttle postion sensor.

I cleaned my throttle body but I’m going to replace my fuel filter if the problem continues, it hasn’t yet it’s been about 4 days or so

Mass air flow sensor! I just put it on my 2008 Yukon Denali 6.2. It doesn't die at the light or stop 🛑 sign. 😅

Nope, Would always start right back up in the matter of Seconds
@@cammims7645 mine had to wait a while then it worked. I put a new ground on it and so far has made it 200 miles
