As your process evolves, with the new swatch holders and expanded paints I would recommend that you add a token for each paint you are testing with the brands logo on it. Just simple round or square pieces with the logo printed out and attached would work well. Then expand the swatch holder to have a location next to each swatch for them to put their guess. This way they don't have to try and remember what brands you are testing, or what the correct name is for each brand. They will have a token they can use to remind them of what is being tested, what they have guessed, and what is still to come. This should minimize confusion when they are guessing brands! Thanks for the fun content, some of these brands of paint I have never heard of.
I think if you’re doing actual colours then you need to spray a gradient on your test pieces to white. Opaque and high chroma are mutually exclusive for the most part. If you use black then the only colours that will do well are the less saturated opaque ones.
We I agree and disagree here, I think that its much more fair to have a gradient that goes all the way to white 100%. Its hard to see the real Chroma of a paint if we are only looking at dark coverage. In the future we will use grey seer as our lighter tone, but that doesn't happen until episode 7,8,9. We are always trying to make better tests and metrics so this comment goes along way! Thank I will say that we are looking at paints that will perform the best under any circumstance. So a paint that can't perform well over black probly wont win this challenge. Or do well in these reviews. As we think of the majority of painters are new to the hobby or at least semi new we want to find the paint that will perform the best for every painter. Thank you for your comment and I hope that you enjoy our future episodes
@@Squad-Games-Entertainment yeah I think that’s all fair. Tbh I think about new hobbyist for same reason and was more thinking about why they might be confused their stuff wasn’t as saturated as other peoples stuff but appreciate that more generalist is probably what you’re going for. Really good series tho
I like the idea of throwing in something to trip them up like that. Maybe have a paint that is made of equal parts of the rest of the paints combined so it wouldn't be as obvious as the Amsterdam. Would be hilarious if it would win.
Pro Acryl hates wet pallets and polyurethane primers. When used directly on "pre-primed" soft plastic minis, It's an absolute nightmare. It's among the worst choices for drybrushing. Aside from those problems, big for some painters, its my favorite brand of paint
Yes scale 75 may show up in future tests or on Season 2! We can only really focus on 6 paint brands at a time and war paints fnatic will join the main right now. But we will also have future episodes focus on brand new 6 paints or 1 brand vs all of the highlander winners. Like our episode 7 will be all the Highlander winners vs Warpaints Fnatic.

ur a smart guy...... I should have thought of this sooner lol
What i learnt from this video is, if you are colour blind you can always tell what the colour is by licking and smelling the paint
Hey guys, glad to see a new episode
It’s not easy being green, but it’s easy to see which paint I WON’T be picking up! Well done as always!
wow vallejo has really upgraded their game color line! :o
They sure have!! There range has been super impressive so far!

I like this Idea! we will have to throw this into one of our future videos FOR SURE
Id love to see one on Cyan/plasma colors like Baharoth Blue
This sounds like an amazing color to test, blue plasma is a relatively hard paint to get just right
I love these paint videos more than most reviews but honestly I am surprised pro acryl scores so low!
Thank you so much!
I totally agree! I can tell you Monument does earn its time in the sun, but you'll have to wait to see which colors they crush!
Recommend Vallejo “uniform green” for Saya’s Kommandos. I swear by it for all my boyz
P3 coal black is the answer, the question is: what colour should I do this random dohickey?
Where is my boy Apple Barrel
RED RED RED. I so want a RED video comparison.
It’s coming, promise
@Squad-Games-Entertainment@@Squad-Games-Entertainment I'm loving this series.

Oh come on. Pro Acryl is hyped, I’ll admit, but giving it anything less than 70 is pure crayon-eating bollocks.
Except drybrushing. You can have that.
I eat crayons for a living. Also not all of monument performs great, I love their white and some of their future colors that we test.
Obligatory shout out to Alex Popov, unofficial/official paint guy. Now with sound and shape!!!
Alex is a true legend much like the highlander himself!
Wait...is Dakotah color blind?
Color Deficient...
ur not wrong
feel like scale 75 seems to be missing in your tests?
