I had only just watched your first video in this miniseries before seeing this, and was happy to see you improved your methodology this time around. You picked a more technical track, did multiple runs with each car, appear to have stuck to the same lines each time... good stuff! The underperformance of Kaze's CLK500 and Ronnie's DB9 compared to their spots on the blacklist supports my theory that their rankings are probably owed more to their aggressive driving in pursuits than their racing prowess (Ronnie's been to many driving schools but that doesn't mean he learned how to be a good racer). Not only are they heavier cars, thereby making them better for pursuits than racing, but their specialties line up as well. Kaze has a knack for collateral damage, and Ronnie is a pro at wrecking cop cars. Once again, great video. I love that this nearly two decade old game still gets this kind of analysis.
The DB9 is a shockingly terrible car, it's driving like a boat. The RX-8 is also a massive disappointment, it's subpar in every standard, it massively lacks power.
I always loved the DB9 for pursuits because of its weight, making it great for smashing through roadblocks without going airborn, and being able beat rhinos at their own game when tapping speedbreaker right as they hit you. Generally speaking, I find most cars in MW feel rather "heavy", and I think that's because of the speedbreaker mechanic. In U2, almost all cars felt very responsive with handling upgrades. The corolla especially was god-tier for street-X.
It's too bad that you can't tune m3 😒 and come on is anyone really going to take seriously that 4th gen eclipse knowing it fwd ( b.t.w most wanted never had 3000gt in game) so thank you for redoing this list and have nice weekend bye now. P.S. Joseph86 you should do ranking on nfs the run races someday in the future.

(1:32) At least Junkman Max Upgraded Eclipse did it! 3:23 Which is apparently better than fully upgraded Golf minus the Junkman. 6:45 Well then! Yeah, I feel like the cars that are suitable for pursuits does have some butchering for races. Since with Lotus Elise, it's the exact opposite.
@KendrickSzef I’m leaning towards top 5 or maybe even top 3 but I’m not sure. I haven’t tested every single car but I’m thinking about it. I think the Carrera GT might be better tho
These are special performance parts which are unlocked by having those picks lips from everybose you defeat you get on or 2 parts per boss. They increase a cars performance by about 40-50 % . With these parts a starter Lexus can beat about 80% of bosses easily.

Ming's Lamborghini Gallardo is the best boss car and my favorite out of the boss cars. The thing is just an absolute beast.

Same for the most part. After the SLR placed so low last video I definitely didn’t expect it to beat its previous lap time by almost 6 seconds
