I'm 66, but I believe in upgrades. Anything to get away from old school tech is fine with me. Let it look classic, but under the hood, upgrade the hell out of it! Restomod rules!
Form follows function to a degree
It can look old, but run brand new. I'm all for what is better, faster, safer. I'd take these rides over two teslas. I want to cruise.
"Born in 1950 ... 73 now, you can bet I witnessed this era of the 60's! Graduated High School in 1968 and living in Southern Texas, we drove into Mexico to get our interiors done, it was almost always a diamond tuck & Naugahyde material (I think that's the name?)...the Mexican upholsterers requested one thing, bring a quality thread for the material & we brought that most of the time too. It was one of the best eras of muscle cars the World has ever seen. Hot cars right from the factory equipped with Hurst shifters and incredible engines ... You had to be there to look back now and appreciate this recreation of what we had. It was perfection...and then the world started sliding towards the abyss & here we are now!"
Ian ... 😎👉'these restorations are a ... 'Vision of perfection, manifested'!" 👈😎👌... Semper Fi ... charlie
I just love it when old people talk like they are special just because they were alive during the Hemi-era, even tho today's muscle-cars will eat a Hemi's lunch all-day, every-day, you can take an aluminum 5.0 engine today, and run circles around anything that was made in the 60's-n-70's.😉👍, as for the styling of muscle-cars today, now that's another story for sure.✌😆👌
I was born in 1952 and ... I CANNOT AGREE MORE WITH YOU 😉👍
The Van looks so good, well done Ian 👍👍👍
I gotta say that Jack is a 1st Class Upholstery, the Seating is just right for the Van 👍👍👍
About time and here I spent over 48 hours searching for part 2 and it wasn't even out great !
The custom vehicles in Roselle bills in his custom car project is just unbelievable he really does amazing work any really astonishing what it gets done with minimal effort that's just cool you should keep up the good work man it's just awesome keep up the good show kudos to that
Wow Ian your living your dreams thanks for sharing your experience with professional entertainment
I had one of those back in the 70's, but it was the super van with an extension. I was in the military at the time. I was stationed at Niels AFB. I went to see my family in Utah and on the return trip my steering box went out barley missing a telephone pole before I got it stoped. Good times. Love your Channel.
Awesome! Awesome story and a proper ending.
How do you only have 36k subscribers. This is some high end non dramatic entertainment here man?
Wow they both came out fantastic beautiful cars.
I have been watching your videos for over 10 years now. You never cease to amaze me. The Falcon Ranchero: Amazing! Wish I had once set up just like it. The Van: Fanatstically Cool!
These have to be the 2 nicest builds he's done.
Great job on both, for all involved! But being a Painter myself, the Ranchero with Flat, just looks like Cali car needing Paint. Gloss would have Nailed it! Cheers.
Iv just found this channel today and I have watched about 6 hours watching ianns channel. and now I am a big fan of his. Well done Ian.
My company in boot camp was called "Wizards of the Sea". You brought back some memories for me when you said you wanted a wizard with a crystal ball mural. LOL
I love the custom work you do and I love the way you do it it's really fabulous ...
DON'T - do the drama of the smoke of the engine and the drama crap ... Stay with your professional level because many of us are very very happy with not following the ignorant dramatic lines and just looking forward to seeing the project through because the outcome is amazing.
YOU ARE ONE OF THE VERY BEST ❣️
Brilliant job by all involved. The van is cool but I’d take the Ranchero (Falcon ute here in Australia) in a heartbeat. Ian really is a design genius.
Cheers mate, Stuart 🇦🇺
Another Aussie let's gooo
We Aussies love the XK-XL falcons the body shape and the round taillights and into the early Fairlanes Ford for life give the Americans credit they know how to build beautiful, classy cars and all their v8 engine options
@@russelblackwell6041 Yep, they sure do👍👍
The ranchero is a bit different not a falcon.
@@gacattack1234 I’m not sure what is different but I certainly won’t argue. Ford Australia used the same body as that Ranchero and all the different body styles here were named Falcon. Eg Falcon sedan, Falcon wagon, Falcon ute ect. Cheers mate, Stuart.
Van is wonderful! BTW have you noticed that Bill looks like Christopher Walken? 😉
Comedian guy? What's his name?
Now I want another van, I had two of them in the 70s. a Ford and exact same Dodge. Beautifully done,, both of them
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Ian is an inspiration. Young people go for it!
Always liked the 64-65 Falcon, with the Comet down the side. Liked when it was 2 tone either white or red in the comet area or if done in orange and yellow faded in to look like flames
Yep, wow! I have a 62' Econoline and was already thinking about bamboo flooring and details around and on the cabinets and a few big bamboo pieces to separate the sleeping area. That kind of collated bamboo mat headliner is so damn stupid cool I'm definitely going to do that! That's like the greatest idea on the planet! Lol! You're right that it gives a laid-back vibe, and that looks to be fast to do man!!
So now thinkin nix the bamboo flooring and save that weight, and go with some crazy bright orange or red shag! This is a great idea and I'm snaggin it! 😂😁
Just happened to have the 62' Ford, but this idea would work great for about any van and some trucks and stuff! Really cool.
Been watching a few of these episodes and am pretty hooked. Lol! So subscribed of course. ✌🙂👍
Some split bumpers from an early corvette would look awesome on the van.
Both turned out beautiful
New bumpers fit the new look of the finished product.
Love your work. Can't stop watching
Cool van❤❤ love the headliner idea.
The bamboo as top was genius and luckily
Jack went over the top on this interior.
Fantastic, nice job on both vehicles.
Excellent work Ian 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Watched the whole damn thing. How cool is that?
You tha ''VAN'' MAN,AND dat is one RONCHY RANCHRO. David in Texas USA.
Thats falcon awesome
Another awesome episode
You definitely have to say that he does do great work on everything he puts his hands on yes indeed he does people okay thanks Charles
Been in Jacks shop many times. He didnt have the patience to teach me 😂
Great taste, really great work !
Great work.
great work you do.
Needs a hinged license plate bracket (hinged up) with a receiver behind it if someone was to "possibly" tow a small trailer.
Nice 👍 NEW breed in OLD SKOL car PERFECT 😎
A good stereo and roof racks
just found you and your awesome!
I wonder if that mustang 2 front end would fit into that
The van would have been better if it were modified for carrying bikes. The benches should fold up to avoid ripping the leather. The frames can have eyelets to support tie downs and storage for gear. A removable wheel chock at the back of the engine doghouse. Also, I would have bedlined the floor and put binding on the floor carpet so it can be removed like a floor mat
Be nice to have Lakeside pipes on the side
Is I new half the stuff this guy does I would be great
The "O" in the "FORD" script on the front of the van is upside down!
You know what, I just rewatch and click on the timeline to see, if you're right... 😅
I nticed it right away. I'm sure he fixed that boo-boo
I'm surprised you didn't put any candy. Apple or mettle Flake in the paint to make a POP
Is Bills Shop your new shop Ian ?
lovem both
Ion Stikes Again... WOW!
Should have 2 toned the Ranchero 😮
the back bumper should have bin 4'' flat steel plate rap around with chrome plating and use the original bumper braces just saying.
Hopefully everything is ok
A new vehicle with a 60's body.
Sweeet.😎
Should have a Sniper Fuel injection system 😅
Would have done a 2 tone. Paint.
Hey its Uncle Jack.
What motor is in the van ?
The cars look great .. bitcoin Man there are alot of ad breaks .. 😵💫
✌🏻😊
Why can't the yo-yo with the van and the motorcycle get a motorcycle trailer
Its a ford falcon, econoline van, this one is! Not all 😊
A bit different to the Ford Falcons here in Australia hahahahahahahahaha
It’s not a falcon van, it’s a econo line van
They were labeled "Falcon" when they first debuted because they share the platform with the Falcon and Ranchero. The later models were changed to "Econoline".
Ok im 72 and have seen hundreds of them never seen one badged with a falcon other then the one ian was working with, so it is true you can learn something new everyday if you want to
It's like a Elcrapamanio only better
Cutting that rare five window ford truck up was a mistake. Oh well 😮. Atleast save the parts
Are these shows strictly to fluff Ians ego?? I mean every other scene is another person praising Ian and talking about how he is some sort of master.
The van looks great but that table is just crap.
Rongwitehidzdlaz😮
NOT A FAN OF A FLAT FINISH IT ONLY HIDES BAD BODY WORK OR WAISTS TIME SPENT ON GREAT BODY WORK
Surf baords are NOT going to fit . Maybe for a dog 😅
More talking than I've heard on a show.
Ugly color on Ranchero 😮
Very awesome
In my hippy days we used FRP glue for ceiling wall s floor it will hold up stick highway back road driving😅
