What I particularly like is Zodiac’s own design aesthetic. In a market awash with me-too designs, the Sea Wolf has a look all its own and deserves more love for it.

100% true, it's impossible now a days to spot which dive watch it is from a couple of meters away. No distinction. Zodiac is cooool!

The lume on my watch easily lasts throughout the night, but it also struggles with hacking and time setting. Fortunately, my watch runs at dead even so never needs setting😀. All in all, I love my Zodiac Super Seawolf.

Excellent review, Miguel. I own a ZO9271, and I mentioned the stem action as well. As the STP movement is "in-house," they will refine that issue soon. Excellent videography, as usual. While the bezel action might not be "premium," your videos always are.
Thank you for the support brother and I’m glad to hear that Zodiac knows about the stem issue. I like the bezel action, but it doesn’t really match the price point of $1,500.
Will they?… STP has a pretty bad failure track record so far.
That dial and bezel are gorgeous. I want to look at it. The thing with Zodiac watches is that there's always something that's slightly off that stops it from being THE watch. They're one or two small changes away from a great design.

Great review as always Mig. At the price point I would def be upset with the crown action, as well as the bezel. Was the bezel action too loose, light clicky? Congrats on a great collab with Teddy too!

I got a bluish-green limited edition super sea wolf on a whim and that’s been my thought as well. “I was expecting more”.
Congrats and I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking this watch was underwhelming.
I’m so torn on the Zodiac line, I love how bold they are but there’s just little things that do bother me. I tried on the new skeleton one at my local AD, definitely tempting.
Does this have the suspension style clasp?

Nothing but issues with those STP 3-13 movements and they have since been continued. Zodiac is again using the much better STP 1-11 and SW 200 COSC in their pro line. I just ordered a brand new SSW 53 and paid about half of MSRP so i couldnt say no to that. I was going to get the Squale 1545 instead but the deal was too good on the Zodiac. Im hoping theres no issues with it because i do love the design. Worst case scenario i return it and get the Squale. Great review!

At 1500$ theres much competition from big players and great quality micros,but if Youre able to get it for 1-1.2k$ its unbeatable.I have 3 Zodiacs already,a Sea Dragon and 2 Sea Wolfs

I've owned two modern Zodiac Super Wolfs, but just could not convince myself to keep them. They are nothing like the 60s/70s Zodiac watches. Modern Zodiac watches, IMO, are simply a scheme to sell mediocre quality watches, taking advantage of the legacy brand. I can't blame them, however. There are many watch brands that are in the same boat today.
I hope they listen to the community and make changes because I really respect the brand and it’s heritage!

I love Zodiac but both Doxa 200 and Zodiac ssw feels more like Ali express brands with cheap feel,fit and finish, and unbelievably poor braclet in Doxa.
I think that Squale really trumps both brand in the terms of finish and quality.
Doxa definitely needs to work on improving their lume and bracelets 👍🏼
