New from Haoge - Leica Q3 43 lens hood !! Can I stop using the blue tape ?? 😂.. #leica #leicaq343 #leicaq Haoge LH - LQ343B @mathphotographer @RedDotForum @cammackey
Thanks. Just ordered it. Should be here in a couple of weeks. I've been using a knockoff round lens hood and while it works, I don't like it as much as the square one
I ordered one from Squarehood for 110€, wonder if this one from Haoge have the same finish and quality as the one from Squarehood which I find expensive..
Thanks for your updates on this issue, mine arrived today. It's a little longer than the Leica Q3 43 version so it's just a case of how much you use the macro mode therefore would you keep the supplied version and swap to this version for macro, or not want the hassle of swapping lens hoods for a slightly smaller lens hood? Leica should have supplied both based on the price of the camera. Maybe they can do a deal with Haoge?
I need the use of my full size UV filter and macro mode at anytime, that’s why I use this lens hood not original q3 43 lens hood .. thanks for watching
No thanks. To much fuss. I'm just using the thread protector. Can't imagine having to take either off to put different filters on. Also to use the Elpro e52 Close-up lens.
What a whole lot of baloney caused by a bad design (screw-on vs bayonet mount hood). The new hood is still flawed because it does not allow for adjustment of adjustable filters (polarizers and variable NDs, among others). Funny Leica flubbed this simple, yet invaluable accessory. If I were an accessory manufacturer, I would create a screw-on bayonet mount that would stay on the camera no matter whether a hood is attached or not. Of course, I would also create a hood for the bayonet that was attractive, but also included a rectangular hole on the bottom to allow a finger to adjust adjustable filters.
Your enthusiasm is infectious!
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks, I just ordered mine. Leica was very short sighted on this. GRRR
@@AlanGreenberg-i8p glad I could help, thanks for watching
@@casadelouie It fights really well and looks just like the Leica version.

Yeah I tried a round one, hated it so that’s what made me figure out to use tape with original Q3 28 hood 😂… thanks for watching
Dang they’re already out of stock! I will say, there’s a couple of new options coming ;)

I’m in Long Beach, got extra one coming if you really need one, I think you’re in LA?
@@softiczlatanit’s nice metal, seems exactly like original Leica hood. I have a past video comparing original q3 28 hood with Haoge
Looks like they are back in stock. $36.79 with Prime and $45.99 regular price.
Yes, great quality, amazing value, only took 8 days to deliver to London! Superb value and quality!!
Nice !! Yeah it’s kinda amazing how good the quality is for the price .. great deal .. Thanks for watching
@ and disappointing that having spent so much on a camera, we then have to purchase a lens hood, so it fits when using a filter!
Mine will be here Tuesday the 26th. Thanks. The camera gets here the 25th. ;o)
@@zoltankaparthy9095 Nice !! Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy the new camera!

Hao Ge Two words I’ve got mine too
The photos on their webshop show their logo on the lens hood, but if I see correctly, their logo is not shown on yours, is that right?
Yes no logo on lens hood.. thanks for watching
