Yourself, Fantano and the Deep Cuts guy are the only videos I watch on UA-cam for music recommendations. Keep up the good work Amy and all the best for 2022.
"Honey wake up, a new TheSoundBinge video just dropped" Also thank you for your answers to mt questions at 1:09:55. I feel like The Money store really captured me and threw me into the deep end of what music could sound like for my mind back then. I also asked the last question because i feel that with a lot of artists too. I have a hard time getting into Swans especially because of how repititious their music can be as well as lengthy.
Interesting that you're mentioning your troubles. Music has a very underrated impact on people with such issues and people in general. You may not have a lot of subscribers but I need to tell you that your impact on my life with your reviews and suggestions has been invaluable. I share your passion for music and I honestly wish you the best. You deserve it.
Didn't expect my Aphex Twin question to get so many likes...haha. I asked it as a joke, but knowing serious musicians and gearheads, they could never be with someone that's not somewhat musically inclined, regardless of matching tastes or genres. Of course musical tastes shouldn't be a huge factor in a partner, hope my comment here now reiterates that point, nobody is perfect so just take the good with the bad, that comes with musical tastes too. Lastly, you'll miss out on a ton of life by not being outside your comfort zone and meeting ppl outside your mental sphere.
45:40 Thank you for answering my q! The same thing happened to me, where my music reviews went from taking days to weeks (perfectionist bug) & I ended up being overwhelmed with bouts of writer’s block. Trying to get out of the funk now. But seeing content as high-quality as yours really does help keep me inspired, so thank you & good to see ya back too
Hello, thank you for all of your content! I have encountered some wonderful albums based on your videos along with your RYM profile, especially The Field's From Here We Go Sublime LP. I am not sure if I would have found this gem without you. As always, your voice on this channel is so unique in terms of how you discuss music and I always find myself inspired by your ability to communicate the imagery of a given album. I always learn something new from your videos. Thanks again
Hi, I don’t usually comment but I’m just here to say that the way you go about describing and illustrating things (both through your writing and art) is something I have incredible admiration for, encouraging me to start putting pen to paper again after giving it up personally so thanks, and I hope you're doing well
OMG! Yay you're back! We missed you! 😁 Glad you were open about your mental health issues and taking care of yourself. I'm right there with you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, as always! You rock 🤟
Great Q&A. And thank you for answering my very important questions. I also don’t know what bears eat, so I ask anyone I can (so far, nobody knows). Too lazy to google anything.
You're health is everything. We just want you to be okay.
I’m doing a lot better :)
Oh shit, a feature length video.
