I so appreciated hearing from Ofosu. I am finding the body scan with offering appreciation and gratitude to the various body parts to be a beautiful way to connect with my body without judgment. Also, I loved the idea that a hurting self is a sticky self. I’ve definitely found that to be true in my experience, but that phrasing just put it so perfectly. Thanks to you both for all you do. And thanks for your vulnerability.❤

Also, Dan...please stop apologizing for repeating yourself over the course of your many podcast episodes. Remember that each episode, someone is listening for the first or second time and may never have heard what you think your going overboard with. Also, even for someone who has heard it 13 times, maybe today, in this mind-set, with this guest, they finally HEAR it in a way that is meaningful for them.

If you are having trouble with self-compassion, slightly modulate the usual compassion meditation instruction, which says you should start your compassion meditation with yourself and then move to others. Instead, start with someone else you care about. I started with my therapist. ❤

really loved this one and will probably watch it again (first time just listening). Ofosu's description/explanation around the self and non-duality was one of the best I've heard (sorry Sam Harris!) that part alone would make an amazing Short!

Fantastic. Good work!! This is the yin-aspect work on personal growth. Men need to do that to balance themselves out from the strong yang-aspect so they may get to the Middle Way. And women are to also embrace and work with their yang aspect to come to the middle way. This way, we become whole people rather than 1/2 or 50%. My formula for successful relationships is 1 + 1 = 3. the 3 is the synergy that results out of two whole people engaging.
