WWE 2K14 is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke's & Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.[3][4] It is the first game published by 2K Sports since Take-Two Interactive gained the license from THQ in a bankruptcy filing.[5] It is the sequel to WWE '13 and it is succeeded by WWE 2K15. - Ігри

My last wwe game was svr 2011 I quit watching wrestling due to boring product but thanks to NXT, AEW, Impact, MLW, and NWA my love for wrestling has returned other than that I haven't bought a wrestling game from the look of it I missed out on a few decent titles especially W13 all that dlc is probably gone so there's no point in getting the game today 😢

IMO, _WWE 2K14_ had the best licensed roster in a wrestling video game. There was so much variety, thanks to the "30 Years of WrestleMania" mode. Not to mention, the fact that we now had 100 C-A-W slots for the first time ever made for endless possibilities spanning all eras of WWE. Couple that with "Superstar Heads" (which essentially was a preview of what was to come with the customizable roster on the current generation of 2K's _WWE_ games), and there were so many options for us. That's just scratching the surface, too! Man, there were so many creation modes in this game.
_WWE 2K14_ was definitely my favorite wrestling game during the 7th generation of consoles!
CompSciTheatreGuy 13 was better and no Legends of Wrestling 3 had the roster

Literally my ONLY complaints about this game are 1.No more than 6 stars in ring at once and 2. My biggest complaint no full customization ring rule options for all match types and some missing match types but to this day 2k14 is still my go to wrestling game hands down!
*Not to mention that they finally got Retro Rock right. The Rock's in game model in wrestling games always annoyed me. Smackdown vs Raw, WWE '13, and WWE 2K14 are the only games to date to get Retro Rock right. lol*

This was my first last gen game WWE game. Played the hell out of it. It doesn't get old to me.

Since wwe 2k14 had Inclusions of Retro versions of superstars. The goldberg vs brock match is included to unlock Goldberg and the 2002 Version of Brock. and also had the Chris benoit Tragedy had not happened double homicide /suicide. Then The Chris Benoit vs HHH shawn michaels Triple Threat match at wrestlemania 20 no doubt would have been included in the 30 years of wrestlemania mode

And if Kurt Angle wasn't with TNA at the time the game was being developed, we would also get Eddie Guerrero VS Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship too.
This is/was the best wrestling game since 2011. roster was dope, creation was out of this world and the game play was great. I can't say anything bad about this game

For me, this game has the best wrestling game engine since Here Comes The Pain (with honorable mentions to the Day of Reckoning series). I love the speedy and simplified gameplay while keeping most of the simulation mechanics from several titles from the SmackDown vs. RAW series.
So bad that they changed drasticaly by WWE 2K15 in the 8th generation of consoles, making that game so slow and over-complex. At least they kept the same engine from this game, with minimal changes, in the 7th gen. To this day I don't have a PS4 or X-ONE, so completing the Showcase mode from 2K15 to 2K17 and playing some Universe mode matches with the same 2K14 engine was really fun to me.

Yes it's an amazing wwe game for sure but I honestly can't choose between wwe 13 and this wwe2k14 I love them both the same both games got things I enjoy I know for sure thstvwwe 13 and 14 are the best wwe games ever made so far and it's because of all the modes and wwe superstars for sure and I don't mind the game play at all love these games 😎

Thanks to you, I have had such a great time with WWE 13 (as a direct result of me watching your review on it) on my PS3... I finished the "Attitude Era", and am currently in the middle of a Monday Nitro vs. Friday Night Raw "Universe Mode" full of Attitude Era wrestlers, classic PPV's like Halloween Havoc and In Your House, and a cross brand Saturday Smackdown!

I have to say, this is easily my all-time favorite wrestling game. The roster, customizing, story mode, and of course the Undertaker challenge. Four years later I'm still playing this thing. Tons of fun. Also, I love the create a story mode. A little hard to manage at first but totally worth it.

I played the hell out of this game when it was first released but I personally found it getting stale much faster than WWE 13 or even 12. That may have been due to me being much into wrestling at the time but I just didn't find much to do. I did absolutely love the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode. I wouldn't mind something similar return. Great review again dude. Always enjoy watching your videos :)

This game has the some of the best creating opions in a wrestling game. also i loved the defeat the streak mode as it was challenging but, really fun too.
This is definitely in my top five, me and my best friend had countless hours invested into the game.
The Sonic casino level song is a nice touch

Personally I stopped watching wrestling years before this came out but once I saw all the legends I had to play it and it was one of my favorite games of all time.

Yes for Sure sweet game but wwe13 is just as amazing I can't chose 14 or q3 love them both but I will say that 13 and 14 are the best wwe games ever made so far 😎
When I got this game for Christmas 2013, I did my own version of the WWF in 1991, with some slight rebooking here and there, such as having the LOD vs Demolition at WrestleMania 7, making the 1991 King of the Ring a PPV, and doing the Rockers vs. the Natural Disasters at SummerSlam.
Also, other DLC legends you forgot to mention were Dusty Rhodes, Bruno Sammartino, and Virgil (for those who wanna reinact his 1991 feud with Ted DiBiase, which I did when I got this game).
Deep Ghoul lol I didn't "forget" to mention these guys, I just didn't include all DLC, which I stated in the video.

Oh, OK then. Sorry, it's just that there were a couple of vids on UA-cam that had people simulating DiBiase vs. Virgil from WrestleMania 7 with this game.

I’m gonna say it, 2k14 above svr 06, above htcp, and even above wrestling revolution 3D, is my personal favorite wrestling game.
SvR 06 was the best for a while until this one showed up.
I was just going to write that you should review imports like kings of colloseum, and all those other japanese wrestling game titles. As well as Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. And any other obsolete wrestling games for the original xbox, and dreamcast that maybe most people have never heard of before. It should be interesting to see how they stack up against the wwe game franchise. I think their better looking gameplay wise. Then again i've never played them before. Also the language barrier would be an issue. As well as importing them. There probably isn't much in the case of storylines either, but they seem to be drastically more interesting. Or that can just be my numbness to seeing so much wwe content, that my mind is in need of something different and more refreshing. Either way, you are the man to do it. The way you break it down is legit. I enjoy you're material. Keep it up.

I just love that they weren’t lazy and actually all the Wrestlemania arenas unlike 2k18
2K14 was the last best wrestling game I've played. SOOO MUCH creative content, such a massive roster, you can literally do anything wrestling-related. And, looks to be the last game to feature custom intro music. This game is actually my fave over even No Mercy. It saddens me that wrestling games since have fewer features and less content.
They did not skimp out on content with this game. You’re right about this being 2 games in one. Wrestlemania Mode could be a game on its own!! Really the most complete and comprehensive package, not to mention the best creation suite! I made excellent looking Nitro and Raw Is War Arenas on here! Because they gave you most of the tools to do it! I’ll send pics!
I just bought this game and I LOVED IT.

The peak of one of my all time favorite gaming series. That is until 15 came out and went back to the stone age, which is still shite.
The creation in this one is unprecedented, and overall it still holds up. You can create modern and missing wrestlers quite easily anyway.
The Universe Era ended in 2013, Wrestlemania 30 took place in the Reality Era.
The Giant WCW and Big show 2000 are my favorite versions of big Show
No Mercy on the N64 is where it began for me. Then it was HCTP (PS2)... and I didn't touch another Wrestling game till 2K14. Still playing that today and haven't bought a "modern" wrestling game since.

For the Goldberg and Lesnar inclusion, it's because the REALLY memorable matches they couldn't add. Eddie vs Angle? Kurt was signed to TNA. The triple threat natch? We already know why. But they could've added Chris Jericho vs Christian, Taker vs Kane or Rock and Sock Connection vs Evolution, those were possible matches.
Dexenation Gracey I mean I get why they did it I guess... Lesnar and Goldberg were huge names, and that match was REALLY hyped... but yea there were quite a few matches that could have replaced it.

I am so confunse :D

thq's bankruptcy is all because of midway, I doubt it but great review 2k14 is one of my favorite wrestling games and btw speaking of thq and midway, thq could of own the rights to the TNA video game franchise when midway went bankrupt but I think the deal thq would pick up would only allow them to make one game but they were making games for wwe so I don't think it would been allowed anyways and they would had to renew the contract
Best 2k was the first in the series , worst one is the last one . Wish the new ones were as good as this .
I've always thought this game was hard to top and it was the last one I bought. Best roster and best campaign IMO.
WWE 2K14 is bar far my favorite wrestling game and without a doubt the last good one since 2K took over the WWE series of games 2K15 and 2K16 seemed lacking in quality compared to this one which is the main reason I gave 2K17 a miss.
I'm really hoping that 2K18 can bring it back to the quality that 2K14 showed and it could really do with a new engine and more in depth career and showcase modes with more stories instead of just a few.
That I think would really bring the series back to the best it can be.
WWE 2K14 is still great I haven't played it in a while but when I do it will be awesome.

I noticed that the recent WWE games have old wrestlers on the covers : The Rock for 2K14, John Cena for 2K15, Stone Cold in 2k16 and Brock Lesnar in the more recent 2K17. I understand why they do it because the mainstream audiences know who they are. Not a lot of people know who Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens or Seth Rollins are yet, they may be known to die hard fans but not to the casual viewer.
